A Comprehensive Review on Image Restoration Methods due to Salt and Pepper Noise
Digital images are well-use in various fields like satellite communication, mobile communication, medical and security. Visualized information helps the people to understand the things easily by seen. Improper capturing, age of camera lens, imperfect storage and transmission leads to introduce noise in the image. Gaussian noise, salt and pepper/impulse noise and speckle noise may affect the original image due to aforementioned reasons. Out of these, impulse noise/salt and pepper noise is one of the major types, degrades the image with black and white spots it results loss of required information. Hence, restoration of ground- truth image from such type of noisy image is a challenging task to provide quality and clarity visuals to users. Several linear and non-linear methods have been proposed by researchers since more than four decades. Nonlinear methods based on; median filtering approach; adaptive median filter approach; median filter with switching condition; and median filter with rank order type; are proposed from early 1980s onwards. All of these operated directly on pixels in spatial domain. Hence, they are very easy to implement and most of them are not that much robust at middle and higher noise density circumstances. Further, various researchers have been implemented linear methods such as wavelet transform methods like SWT and DWT. Majority of these are works well upto 50% noise density conditions and very few works well on higher and multiple noise density conditions also. To overcome these problems CNNs based methods have been developed tremendously by various researchers from last decade and these methods require huge database to train the network model. Most of these, achieved good accuracy rates at higher and multiple noise conditions. Hence, here a detailed review report is presented on impulse noise removal methods with their Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR). 2023 IEEE. -

A Cooperative Global Sequencing Algorithm for Distributed Wireless Sensor Networks
Data gathering is a very fundamental use for wireless sensor networks. The area to be monitored has sensor units distributed. They can tell how much demand there is. Temperature, pressure, humidity, sun rays, and other factors could be involved. The detected data is sent to a centralized device called a sink or just a base station. Networks are frequently distributed in character, meaning that more than one kind of instrument is placed in a particular area. There is only one kind of component in uniform networks. A tree is created and anchored at the sink after the nodes have been distributed. In distributed networks, flawless aggregation is challenging to accomplish. In contrast to uniform networks, nodes may receive and transmit multiple types of packets. Every message should be forwarded by the node to a parent so that it can be combined in order to increase the likelihood of aggregation. As a result, a node might need to choose more than one progenitor. This implies that various parameters should be taken into account while forming trees. We have improved the literature's suggested combined distributed scheduling and tree generation for distributed networks. We discover that the expanded method maximizes aggregation, schedules the network with fewer time slots, and uses less energy. Additionally, it is discovered that distributed networks require more management costs to schedule than uniform networks do. 2023 IEEE. -

A Deep Convolutional Kernel Neural Network based Approach for Stock Market Prediction using Social Media Data
Several economists and social scientists have held a longstanding fascination with the practice of stock market prediction. As the stock market is essentially uncontrollable chaos, many experts believe that trying to predict it is futile. Due to the complexity of the numerous factors, accurate stock price predictions are notoriously difficult to achieve. While the market behaves more like a scale than a voting machine over the long run, its behavior may be predicted with some certainty. Information from Twitter is used into the algorithm. In this proposed method, a convolutional extreme learning machine model with kernel support was introduced (CKELM). To improve feature extraction and data classification, the CKELM model builds on the KELM's hidden layer by adding convolutional and subsampling layers. The convolutional layer and the subsampling layer do not employ the gradient technique to fine-tune their parameters because some designs worked well with random weights. When compared to popular models like CNN and KELM, The proposed model fares quite well, with an accuracy of around 98.3 percent. 2023 IEEE. -
