Digital financial literacy among adults in India: measurement and validation
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has considerably promoted the usage of Digital Financial Services (DFS) in India. Therefore, exploring the various determinants influencing the DFS users is crucial for the DFS providers to understand their customers better. This study aims to identify, measure, and validate the determinants of Digital Financial Literacy (DFL) from the Indian adults who use Digital Financial Services. A sample of 384 adult DFS users from India was surveyed using a self-administered questionnaire in 2021. A multidimensional scale was developed to measure the Digital Financial Literacy in this study. The results exhibit that Digital Knowledge, Financial Knowledge, Knowledge of DFS, Awareness of Digital Finance Risk, Digital Finance Risk Control, Knowledge of Customer Right, Product Suitability, Product Quality, Gendered Social Norm, Practical Application of Knowledge and Skill, Self-determination to use the Knowledge and Skill and Decision Making are the determinants of DFL among the adults in India. Further, the users of DFS without DFL will face numerous challenges such as inability to com-plete the transaction, financial loss and privacy breach, etc. Hence, the study concludes that DFL is prerequisite to use DFS effectively. 2022 The Author(s). Digital financial literacy and its impact on financial behaviors: A systematic review
The dependence on digital financial technologies influences financial behaviors among people. This systematic review aims to identify and understand the variables interplay between digital financial literacy and financial behavior. The systematic literature review uses the PRISMA systematic review guidelines to identify and screen the literature. The results show there is a positive significant relation between digital financial literacy and financial behaviors. It was found that there are minimal studies on the variables interplaying between digital financial literacy and financial behavior. The interplaying variables identified are financial self-efficacy, financial confidence, self-control, financial autonomy, financial capability, psychological biases and digital, financial socialization, and socio-economic and demographic factors. This review develops a framework for future exploration explaining the relationship between digital financial literacy and financial behavior identifying financial wellbeing as the outcome. 2024 by IGI Global. DIGITAL FORENSICS ANALYSIS FOR ADVERSARIAL ATTACKS IN AI-BASED SYSTEMS
Digital forensics investigation is a field of science that focuses primarily on the recovery and examination of devices. The digital forensics or cyber forensics was primarily used for computer-based forensics. Artificial intel ligence (AI for short) is a group of computational models that use the black box-based technology of the neural network (NN) such as classification, prediction, and optimization tasks for various applications, such as computer vision, medical imaging, natural language processing, and autonomous vehicles. Cyber Forensics such as robotics, deals with a class of problems in which computational models are manipulated due to intentional malfunction such as adversarial attacks, back-end kind of attacks. This study is aimed to investigate attacks on AI. It also describes conceptual attack strategies using AI and digital forensics tools. The main purpose of this work is to provide a comprehensive analysis of malicious AI-based attacks and different types of classifiers. In todays world, Digital Forensics is a crucial subject with much scope as data storage becomes more decentralised. The collection and preservation of digital media is a topic of concern across the Cyber Security and Digital Forensics field. With Cloud Infrastructure and other technologies, data is not permanently stored in one place and gathering and analysing it can become a headache for Forensic Investigators. Digital Forensics Investigation for Attacks on Artificial Intelligence
The new research approaches are needed to be adopted to deal with security threats in AI based systems. This research is aimed at investigating the Artificial Intelligence (AI) attacks that are malicious by design. Digital Gender Gap, Gender Equality and National Institutional Freedom: A Dynamic Panel Analysis
While digital gender gap is a growing field of research in Information Systems (IS), there remains a dearth of research focusing on it. The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between the digital gender gap in mobile and internet usage and gender equality. Additionally, this study also examines the impact of national institutional freedoms on the aforementioned relationship. Utilizing the theoretical framework of intersecting inequalities and building upon existing literature on the gender digital divide, this study aims to explore the associations between disparities in mobile and internet usage, gender equality, and the extent of national institutional freedoms encompassing economic, political, and media domains. In pursuit of this objective, we undertake a dynamic panel data analysis using publicly accessible archival data at the country level. The results indicate that national institutions have a significant impact on the relationship between the digital gender gap in internet and mobile phone usage and gender equality. Digital image correlation (DIC) for measuring strain in brick masonry specimen using Ncorr open source 2D MATLAB program
This micro-article is focused on the application of DIC in measuring strain for a 2D structural element like brick masonry specimen. Conventional techniques of strain measurements involve devices like strain gauges, LVDTs, dial gauges and extensometers. Even though Commercial DIC packages are available and have been widely used to perform DIC, these setups are quite expensive. In this study a simple DSLR camera along with Ncorr, an open source 2D MATLAB program is used to perform the DIC. Results have also been obtained experimentally by using conventional measuring devices and compared with that of DIC. The results obtained through DIC is well in agreement with that of experiments, and the difference in strain at failure was observed to be 4.7%. Furthermore, the results of this study should encourage researchers to adopt this technique in studies of behaviour and structural health monitoring of brick masonry specimens. 2019 The Authors -

Digital marketing effectiveness and success factors for small and medium enterprises
Digital marketing is crucial for the organisation success. Therefore, this paper explores how research in digital marketing can enhance marketing strategies, drive consumer engagement and boost revenue generation. It highlights how businesses of varying sizes can leverage these insights to thrive in the competitive online market. The study conducts a bibliometric analysis of digital marketing research, tracing its evolution from inception to present day. Focusing on authorship patterns, international collaborations, and geographical influences, it assesses the potential future impact of research in this area. Using the Scopus database, 1,126 relevant articles were selected for detailed analysis. Employing the R Software and bibliometric package, an extensive scientific mapping analysis was performed. The findings present a thorough exploration of author contributions, source evaluations, document analytics, cluster mapping-citations, and collaborative networks. Digital Marketing Strategy for SMEs in India and South East Asian Countries in Industry 5.0: A Literature Review
Lower level of income, underdeveloped industrial bases, lower standards of living and a lack of access to modern technology are the basic challenges of any developing economy. Expansion of the small business sector plays a pivotal role in growing the economies of developing countries and reducing unemployment. Digital marketing is an online platform to promote small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to reach a global audience without a physical presence in multiple locations. This is particularly beneficial for SMEs in developing countries, where access to international markets may otherwise be limited. The present chapter is a review of global digital marketing strategies and explores how developing nations, particularly India and Southeast Asian countries, can benefit from them and can adopt the advanced strategies to establish the SME sector. It is found that while digital marketing offers substantial benefits for SMEs in India and Southeast Asia, its adoption is influenced by a range of factors, including digital infrastructure, government support and access to digital literacy programs. Digital micromirror device characterization in optical band for astronomical multi-object spectrograph
The Digital Micromirror Device (DMD), a micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) consisting of individually controllable micromirrors, has emerged as a versatile tool for astronomical instrumentation, particularly in multi-object spectroscopy (MOS). Unlike traditional slit masks or fiber-based systems, DMDs offer dynamic reconfigurability, enabling efficient light modulation and enhanced spectral acquisition. Their adaptability has led to widespread adoption in ground-based spectrographs (e.g., RITMOS, BATMAN, SAMOS, IRMOS) and feasibility studies for space missions (e.g., EUCLID, CASTOR, SUMO, SIRMOS). DMDs have demonstrated robustness in space qualification tests, including radiation exposure, thermal cycling, and mechanical stress, making them viable for space-based applications. Recent advancements, such as UV-transparent windows and enhanced coatings, further expand their potential for ultraviolet astronomy. In India, the success of AstroSats Ultra Violet Imaging Telescope (UVIT) has motivated the development of the next-generation INdian Spectroscopic and Imaging Space Telescope (INSIST), which includes a DMD-based MOS for UV/optical observations. To advance its Technology Readiness Level (TRL), we evaluated the Texas Instruments DLP9500 DMD (1920 1080 micromirrors, 10 m pitch) in the optical band, assessing key parameters such as diffraction efficiency, reflectivity, contrast, micromirror repeatability, and Point Spread Function (PSF) alignment. Digital nomads: redefining tourism success or complicating destination challenges
The COVID-19 pandemic hastened the distant work revolution and gave rise to a distinct consumer group called digital nomads.
