A LLM-Powered Approach for Generating Meeting Minutes from Audio Conversations
Accurate documentation of meetings is essential for effective communication, decision-making, and accountability across various settings, including corporate environments, academic discussions, research collaborations, project reviews, and multi-stakeholder forums. Manual note-taking is often error-prone and time-consuming, highlighting the need for automated solutions. This paper proposes an LLM-based approach for generating structured Minutes of Meeting (MoM) from audio recordings. The method begins with audio transcription using the Vosk model, followed by grammatical and punctuation recovery to enhance text readability. The preprocessing step cleans and segments the transcribed text. Named Entity Recognition (NER) is applied to identify relevant entities such as names, dates, and organizations. The method then segments the conversation into topical sections aligned with the meeting agenda. A Large Language Model (LLM), named OpenAI, has been used to produce abstractive summaries. An action item extraction module identifies tasks, responsible individuals, and deadlines. A speaker analysis component highlights principal participants in decision-making processes. The system organizes the final output into a structured format, such as JSON or PDF, for easy access and distribution. How Much Governance Is Too Much?: Framing Future Directions for State Involvement in Sustainable Dark Tourism
With the growing institutionalisation of dark tourism into national heritage discourses and tourism economies, the issue of what level of state intervention is most appropriate has become an urgent and critical point of discussion. Although the subjects of visitor motivations, site interpretation, and ethical dilemmas have been well covered in the existing literature, the role of government in dark tourism has not received sufficient attention. The chapter fills that gap by discussing the diversity of state interventions in dark tourism through a content analysis of pertinent literature. A conceptual framework is developed that indicates five key areas of intervention in dark tourism governance: cultural heritage policy, security and risk regulation, mobility control, heritage protection, and community engagement. These are connected to two clusters of intended governance outcomes: sociocultural goals such as peacebuilding and reconciliation, and experience-focused aims including ethical interpretation and visitor management. Instead of taking a normative stance on whether state involvement is inherently either excessive or insufficient, the chapter advocates for a more situated and reflexive approach. A Framework for Smart Innovations in Islamic Pilgrimage: Utilizing AI and IoT within the Context of Halal Tourism
Despite growing discourse on smart tourism and AI applications in travel, limited scholarly attention has been given to understanding the reasons for the growth of AI usage and the various facets of its application, specifically within Islamic pilgrimage. This includes the absence of a developed framework for innovative inventions. This paper addresses the research gap by exploring how AI and IoT technologies can transform halal tourism management, focusing on the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages. The paper deals with three objectives: (1) To understand the reasons for the growth of AI usage in halal tourism with special reference to Islamic Pilgrimage, (2) to examine the various facets of AI usage in Islamic pilgrimage, and (3) to develop the framework for Smart inventions in Islamic pilgrimage. Methodologically, this is a conceptual paper grounded in a secondary literature review. It incorporates a thematic content analysis of both academic publications and gray literature. With this approach, the researchers were able to gain a holistic view of how AI can intersect with Islamic pilgrimage and halal tourism. Exploration of Chemical Reaction Effects on Entropy Generation in Heat and Mass Transfer of Magneto-Jeffery Liquid
In many chemical engineering processes, a chemical reaction between a foreign mass and the fluid does occur. These processes find relevance in polymer production, oxidation of solid materials, ceramics or glassware manufacturing, tubular reactors, food processing, and synthesis of ceramic materials. Therefore, an exploration of homogeneous first-order chemical reaction effects on heat and mass transfer along with entropy analysis of Jeffrey liquid flow towards a stretched isothermal porous sheet is performed. Fluid is conducting electrically in the company of transverse magnetic field. Variations in heat and mass transfer mechanisms are accounted in the presence of viscous dissipation, heat source/sink and cross-diffusion aspects. The partial differential equations system governing the heat transfer of Jeffery liquid is reformed to the ordinary differential system through relevant transformations. Numerical solutions based on Runge-Kutta shooting method are obtained for the subsequent nonlinear problem. A parametric exploration is conducted to reveal the tendency of the solutions. The present study reveals that the Lorentz force due to magnetism can be used as a key parameter to control the flow fields. Entropy number is larger for higher values of Deborah and Brinkman numbers. It is also established that the concentration species field and its layer thickness of the Jeffery liquid decreases for a stronger chemical reaction aspect. Monitoring the progress of countries towards achieving these pretensions is pivotal for sustainable development. This exploration paper offers an innovative stance toward foretelling the SDG Index of Indian states for the near future times using machine learning ways, logical and visualization tools. The paper focuses on India's sweats towards achieving the SDGs and investigates the factors impacting the SDG performance of individual Indians states. A comprehensive dataset is collected, encompassing a wide range of socio-profitable pointers, demographic data, and environmental criteria applicable to each SDG target. Literal SDG Index scores and corresponding state-specific data are collected to assay and find some trends. Extricating the Association Between the Prognostic Factors of Colorectal Cancer
Purpose: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the recurring and lethal gastrointestinal tract disease rankings as the primary cause of worldwide morbidity and mortality. In general, the tumour node metastasis (TNM) and Dukes classification assist in diagnosis, prognosis and treatments of CRC along with haematological examinations and tumour demographic characterisations in patients. Methods: The present investigation is carried out on clinically acknowledged sixty-five CRC patients based on haematological findings and are sorted into stages using TNM and Dukes. The present study is to find the association between haematological findings, demographic characters, differentiation position, lymph node invasion and tumour node metastasis in CRC patients in accordance with their age. Results: We observed significant (p < 0.05) nexus between lymph node metastasis and tumour node metastasis on the basis of tumours differentiation demographic positioning and age of the individuals. Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the globally prevalent and virulent types of cancer with a distinct alteration in chromosomes. Often, any alterations in the adenomatosis polyposis coli (APC), a tumor suppressor gene, and methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene are related to surmise colorectal cancer significantly. In this study, we have investigated chromosomal and gene variants to discern a new-fangled gene and its expression in the southern populations of India by primarily spotting the screened APC and MTHFR variants in CRC patients. An equal number of CRC patients and healthy control subjects ((Formula presented.)) were evaluated to observe a chromosomal alteration in the concerted and singular manner for APC and MTHFR genotypes using standard protocols. Tools and framework for cyber-physical agricultural systems
The development of cyber-physical agricultural systems (CPASs) has created new opportunities for precision farming, sustainable food production, and efficient use of resources. CPAS leverages advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) to collect, analyze, and utilize data to improve farming practices. However, the implementation of CPAS requires the use of various tools and frameworks to ensure seamless integration and communication between different components of the system. One of the key tools for CPAS is sensors. This chapter focuses on key tools for CPAS, such as sensors that can collect data on environmental factors, including temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and nutrient levels, enabling farmers to monitor crop growth and identify issues. The use of drones equipped with cameras and sensors can provide a birds eye view of farmland, allowing farmers to detect issues that are difficult to detect otherwise. Frameworks such as the Open Platform Communication Unified Architecture (OPC-UA) provide a standardized approach to communication between different devices and systems in agricultural systems. OPC-UA enables secure and efficient data exchange between sensors, machines, and other components, enabling the integration of various tools and frameworks within CPAS. This framework ensures that different components of CPAS can communicate seamlessly, leading to more efficient and effective farming practices. Another critical framework for CPAS is the decision support system (DSS). DSS utilizes AI and ML algorithms to analyze data from various sources and provide recommendations to farmers. Gamification Analytics for Enhancing Engagement in Digital Repositories
Digital repositories are critical in storing and distributing of scholarly materials and research data applicable in different fields. One thing, which is a problem despite the academic setting, is the need to sustain a user activity as the motivation to use a repository is not always consistent. One of the issues that could be solved with the help of Gamification is the need to maintain interaction by incorporating game elements into non-game contexts. This article presents a discussion on enhancing interaction with digital repository users and finding information using gamification analytics. By capturing real-time data and making behavioral decisions, we will learn how users engage with the gamification capabilities, such as earning points, badges, leaderboard position, and tracking achievements. This paper will use case study as a research design to investigate the impact of game-like characteristics integrated in an academic repository system. Key performance indicators (KPIs) that are used to measure levels of user motivation and engagement are session time, frequency of visits, and depth of reading. The findings show that the users experienced more active and content-oriented discovery experiences in comparison to the repository when it was configured in relation to their preferences and objectives using user-centered gamification strategies. Also, the study stresses the necessity of constant evaluation and flexible structures to track engagement over a longer period. This study also contributes to the knowledge of digital library sciences by forming a model of introducing gamification strategies into management systems based on data analysis. DKMI: Diversification ofWeb Image Search Using Knowledge Centric Machine Intelligence
Web Image Recommendation is quite important in the present-day owing to the large scale of the multimedia content on the World Wide Web (WWW) specifically images. Recommendation of the images that are highly pertinent to the query with diversified yet relevant query results is a challenge. In this paper the DKMI framework for web image recommendation has been proposed which is mainly focused on ontology alignment and knowledge pool derivation using standard crowd-sourced knowledge stores like Wikipedia and DBpedia. Apart from this the DKMI model encompasses differential classification of the same dataset using the GRU and SVM, which are two distinct differential classifiers at two different levels. GRU being a Deep Learning classifier and the SVM being a Machine Learning classifier, enhances the heterogeneity and diversity in the results. Semantic similarity computation using Cosine Similarity, PMI and SOC-PMI at several phases ensures strong relevance computation in the model. The DKMI model yields overall Precision of 97.62% with an accuracy of 98.36% along with the lowest FDR score of 0.03 and is much better than the other models that are considered to be the baseline models. 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG. -
