<text>Theory of mind (ToM) is the ability of an individual to identify or predict others emotions, thoughts, and beliefs. In the context of religious cognition and eudaimonic well-being, ToM can be understood as the cognitive process through which individuals interpret and understand religious experiences, knowledge, behaviour, attitudes, and beliefs. These variables are known for sustained psychological and religious consistency in an individual's life. Eudaimonic well-being, on the other hand, refers to the long-lasting effects on individuals mental and spiritual health, enabling them to find purpose and meaning in life, depending on the individual, religion, and society. ToM is an emerging aspect of cognitive neuroscience, rapidly expanding its field to evolution, brain imaging, and religious cognition. The period of adolescence is when adolescents are put into a turbulence of terrible confusion about their identity, beliefs, and autonomy. A thorough understanding of ToM based on religious cognition will foster adolescents' spiritual and mental health. This article connects ToM to religious cognition and the eudaimonic well-being of adolescents in Christian traditions. We propose that ToM could illuminate the relationship between religious cognition and eudaimonic well-being and provide a deepened understanding of these variables in psycho-spiritual therapy. This article also reveals the healing role of ToM on religious cognition and eudaimonic well-being during adolescence and the importance of focusing on spiritual and mental health as developmental assets that can potentially influence them in the future. 2024 Journal of Dharma: Dharmaram Journal of Religions and Philosophies (DVK, Bangalore).</text>

<text>Let G=(V,E) be a graph and let f:E?{1,2,3,} be an edge labeling of G. The path weight of a path P in G is the sum of the labels of the edges of P and is denoted by w(P). The path number of G, tp(G) is the total number of paths in a graph G. If the set of all path weights S in G with respect to the labeling f is {1,2,3,,tp(G)}, then f is called a Leech labeling of G. A graph which admits a Leech labeling is called a Leech graph. Leech index is a parameter which evaluates how close a graph is towards being Leech. In this paper, the path number of the wheel graph Wn is obtained. We also determine a bound for the Leech index of Wn and a subclass of unicyclic graphs. A python program that gives all possible Leech labelings of a cycle Cn for n?3, if it exists, is also provided. 2023 Elsevier B.V.</text>

<text>A common thread noted in many academic management system implementations was the stagnation and deterioration of their usage after the initial hype. This action research study was aimed at addressing this decline in a higher education institute after undertaking a reflective analysis of the waning usage patterns and taking appropriate initiatives to enhance their usage. The authors have attempted this as participants driving the change. As change agents, the academic management system implementation was advanced to move closer to a stage where the committed use occurred and intended benefits were realised. Several initiatives were introduced to propel this change. The scope of this article was confined to gauging the impact of the trigger factors; memos, and training on the academic management system usage. Their effects were measured by applying learning analytics to various sources of usage and performance data. This further led to analysing the relationship between usage and performance of the stakeholders; students, and faculty. 2021 British Educational Leadership, Management & Administration Society (BELMAS).</text>

<text>A novel ligand-free heterogeneous catalyst was synthesized via pyrolysis of Samanea saman pods to produce carbon nanospheres (SS-CNSs), which served as a carbon support for immobilizing palladium nanoparticles through an in situ reduction technique (Pd/SS-CNS). The SS-CNSs effectively integrated 3% of Pd on their surfaces with no additional activation procedures needed. The nanomaterials obtained underwent thorough characterization employing various techniques such as FT-IR, XRD, FE-SEM, TEM, EDS, ICP-AES, and BET. Subsequently, the efficiency of this Pd/SS-CNS catalyst was assessed for the synthesis of biaryl derivatives via Suzuki coupling, wherein different boronic acids were coupled with various aryl halides using an environmentally benign solvent mixture of EtOH/H2O and employing only 0.1 mol% of Pd/SS-CNS. The catalytic system was conveniently recovered through centrifugation and demonstrated reusability without any noticeable decline in catalytic activity. This approach offers economic viability, ecological compatibility, scalability, and has the potential to serve as an alternative to homogeneous catalysis. 2024 RSC.</text>

<text>The next generation of technology, known as the Internet of Things (IoT), will provide a comprehensive system that connects different domains, functions, and innovations. With the increasing demand for elderly care due to the growing ageing population, health monitoring systems have become increasingly important. Continuous monitoring is required in ICU to monitor the health conditions of patients. In cases where patients are released from the hospital, they are advised to rest and observed for a certain period, and the IoT system is very helpful in such cases. This article primarily discusses the implementation of a precise autonomous medical facility management system using IoT. In the past, only current data was displayed, and the patients history could not be accessed. In this study, we propose an IoT-based healthcare system for continuous monitoring of a patients health conditions. The healthcare system focuses on measuring and monitoring various biological parameters of the patients body, such as heart rate, blood oxygen saturation level, and temperature, using a web server and an Android application. Doctors can continuously monitor the patients condition on their smart phones using the Android application. Moreover, the patients history will be stored on the web server, and doctors can access the information from anywhere without being physically present. RJPT All right reserved.</text>

<text>India is one of the leading countries that have a favorable start-up ecosystem and is home to hundreds of start-ups and unicorns. From fintech and e-commerce to healthcare and agritech, these startups are disrupting traditional industries, leveraging technology to address unique challenges and tap into vast market opportunities. The start-ups' human resources policies are different, and they do not have complex human resources rules and policies to promote new ideas. The start-ups future is unpredictable, and they have a lot of uncertainty. Human assets work in start-ups to get a sense of career success despite the psychological fear about the future as they have a strong passion to succeed. This research seeks to explore the impact of psychological safety on the professional achievement of human resources within Indian startups, with a particular focus on the intermediary role of passion. This study adopts a descriptive approach and utilizes a survey-based research methodology to gather first-hand data from employees working within the realm of Indian startups. The study results convey that psychological safety impacts the overall career success of start-up employees, and it also significantly impacts the objective career success of the employees. Objective career success pertains to tangible accomplishments or results in a person's professional journey, which are usually quantifiable and evident to external observers. Further, it is found that passion mediates psychological safety and objective career success of the start-up employees significantly. 2024, Iquz Galaxy Publisher. All rights reserved.</text>

<text>Binary biofuel is the best alternative source that completely replaces petroleum-based fuel. In this study, we have experimented with the waste cooking oil and cedarwood oil as biofuel in a DI CI engine for various proportions and related its combustion, emission, and performance characteristics to those of base diesel. This study aims to eliminate the utilization of fossil fuel in a diesel engine by introducing green binary fuel (low viscous fuel resulting from the blending of cedarwood oil with WCO biodiesel) successfully. The objective of the study is to convert cedarwood WCO into green binary fuel and investigate its performance, emission, and combustion properties. The transesterification process is utilized for the enhancement of WCO as biodiesel. It occasioned a reduction in brake thermal efficiency as the addition of waste cooking oil in the blend increased. At the same time, the maximum value of BTE of 27.8% was attained for B10C90 (10% transesterified waste cooking oil and 90% cedarwood oil in volume), whereas it was 28.1% for diesel at maximum load conditions. The BSEC was 15.4 MJ/kW-hr for B10C90 and 12.8 MJ/kWhr for diesel. The emission characteristics, CO, HC, NOx, CO2, and smoke for B10C90 were 17.93 g/kWhr, 0.55 g/kWhr., 20.09 g/kWhr, 2210.9 g/kWhr, and 25.55%. Combustion features such as NHRR, burn duration, MPRR, combustion efficiency, Ignition delay, and coefficient of variance for B10C90 were 53.74 bar, 29.38 CAD, 4.71 bar/CAD, 99.7%, 7.01 CAD, and 4.73% respectively. It showed that B10C90 had comparable performance (BTE) and combustion values to mineral diesel with better emission characteristics. 2024 The Institution of Chemical Engineers</text>

<text>The effective management of the human resources of a hospital is essential for the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, a task that has become incredibly challenging in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The efficient management of employees is a top priority in healthcare organisations, which is why human resources (HR) plays a pivotal role in their functioning. It includes strategies for improving employee engagement, productivity, motivation, adaptability to change, welfare, and overall health in addition to traditional HR concerns. As part of this process, conducive working conditions must be created, talent management practices must be implemented, and flexibility must be provided to meet the evolving needs of healthcare professionals. The adoption of Agile HR practices is gaining momentum among hospitals in response to the dynamic challenges they face. In the Agile approach, the development cycle of 'Plan, Do, Check, and Act (PDCA)' enables real-time responsiveness. Through a qualitative research design with in-depth interviews conducted through purposive sampling, this study explores the implementation of Agile HR practices in hospitals located in Kerala and Karnataka. The research presents a novel human resources operating model, termed the 'Agile HR Model,' which advocates the integration of Agile principles into the management of healthcare employees. A key objective of this model is to enhance hospital service delivery by embracing agility and adaptability. The study provides HR managers and healthcare professionals with insights into enhancing the delivery of healthcare services. 2024, Iquz Galaxy Publisher. All rights reserved.</text>

<text>With the evolution and integration of information and communication technologies, the marine environment is being converted into a smart ocean of things. The only way to monitor the marine environment is to access marine information through satellites, radar, etc. Recently, many researchers have focused their interest on generating power from renewable energy. Among all the available renewable resources, ocean waves are attracting the interest of researchers for power generation. Therefore, this article focuses on designing a data-driven forecasting model for marine renewable energy generation applications. This article applies a novel Gini-impurity-index-based bidirectional long short-term memory model for selecting the best ocean/marine environmental factors to forecast wave height and ultimately predict power generation using the numerical model. This article presents short- and long-term forecasting results. In the experiment, four stations each are taken for both short- and long-term forecasting. The average root-mean-square error was approximately 0.17 for long-term forecasting and approximately 0.05 for short-term forecasting. 1976-2012 IEEE.</text>

<text>Purpose: The purpose of this study is to plan and develop a cost-effective health-care robot for assisting and observing the patients in an accurate and effective way during pandemic situation like COVID-19. The purposed research work can help in better management of pandemic situations in rural areas as well as developing countries where medical facility is not easily available. Design/methodology/approach: It becomes very difficult for the medical staff to have a continuous check on patients condition in terms of symptoms and critical parameters during pandemic situations. For dealing with these situations, a service mobile robot with multiple sensors for measuring patients bodily indicators has been proposed and the prototype for the same has been developed that can monitor and aid the patient using the robotic arm. The fuzzy controller has also been incorporated with the mobile robot through which decisions on patient monitoring can be taken automatically. Mamdani implication method has been utilized for formulating mathematical expression of M number of if and then condition based rules with defined input Xj (j = 1, 2, . s), and output yi. The inputs and output variables are formed by the membership functions Aij(xj) and Ci(yi) to execute the Fuzzy Inference System controller. Here, Aij and Ci are the developed fuzzy sets. Findings: The fuzzy-based prediction model has been tested with the output of medicines for the initial 27 runs and was validated by the correlation of predicted and actual values. The correlation coefficient has been found to be 0.989 with a mean square error value of 0.000174, signifying a strong relationship between the predicted values and the actual values. The proposed research work can handle multiple tasks like online consulting, continuous patient condition monitoring in general wards and ICUs, telemedicine services, hospital waste disposal and providing service to patients at regular time intervals. Originality/value: The novelty of the proposed research work lies in the integration of artificial intelligence techniques like fuzzy logic with the multi-sensor-based service robot for easy decision-making and continuous patient monitoring in hospitals in rural areas and to reduce the work stress on medical staff during pandemic situation. 2024, Emerald Publishing Limited.</text>

<text>Background: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic inflammatory systemic autoimmune disease. The disease manifests as the bodys immune cells start attacking healthy connective tissue, which affects the skin, kidneys, blood vessels, brain, and other vital organs. As with any other chronic illness, the disease has psychological implications. Purpose: Literature suggests patients with SLE experience anxiety, depression, anger, and stress along with physiological symptoms. There is a strong association between the occurrence of stress and the onset of the disease. These psychological symptoms can be ameliorated through spiritual activities such as meditation, mindfulness, journaling, and reading. Mehtod: This case report is based on the importance of spirituality in the healthcare system. The study focuses on the concept of a whole-person-centered approach to the medical care industry. Spirituality has been proven to have a positive effect on health and illness. Hence, a 10-week intervention with 30 sessions focusing on spiritual dispositions was provided to the patient for this study, along with regular pharmacological treatment. The present case report is of a 56-year-old woman from New Delhi, India, who was diagnosed with SLE 2years ago. Results: The results reveal the positive effect of the intervention, as it led to a significant decrease in stress levels and depressive symptoms; it also resulted in improved quality of life, an enhanced coping style, and bolstered health hardiness. There was an increase in the score of a spiritual personality. Conlcusion: Spiritual Disposition as an intervention was sucessfull in reducing psychological implications of the disease thus leading to overall positve growth in the patient. <text>4U 1702?429, an atoll-type neutron star low-mass X-ray binary, was observed twice by the AstroSat/Soft X-ray Telescope (SXT) and Large Area X-ray Proportional Counters (LAXPC-20) on 2018 April 27 and 2019 August 8. Persistent emission spectra of the source were well fitted with the model combination - constant tbabs (thcomp diskbb+powerlaw). The parameters obtained from the spectral analysis revealed the source to be in a hard spectral state during the observations. Time-resolved spectral analyses were performed on the three type I X-ray bursts detected from the source. Burst analysis showed that the source underwent a photospheric radius expansion. Consequently, the radius of the neutron star and distance to the source (with isotropic and anisotropic burst emission) were obtained as 12.65+?008690 km and 6.92+?000916 and 8.43+?001020 kpc, respectively. 2024 The Author(s). <text>The present study elucidates the oxidation of alcohols to terpene ketones using dichloro(p-cymene) ruthenium (II) dimer catalyst by continuous flow process using a metal plate reactor. The synthesized products were separated and validated using GC, GCMS,1 H-NMR, and13 C-NMR techniques. The reaction process exhibited product yield in the range of 80-95% on a scale of 1-80 grams. Optimization studies were conducted to calibrate the reaction conditions to improve the product yield. The scope of the reaction was explored using aromatic, cyclic, and aliphatic alcohols under optimized conditions, which resulted in high yields of terpene ketones. A reaction mechanism is proposed for the oxidation of alcohols by a continuous flow process. The significant advantages of the current protocol include synthesis at mild conditions, safer handling of reagents, flexibility to tune reaction conditions, and straightforward scale-up in the range of 1-80 grams with high efficiency and reproducibility. 2024, Rasayan Journal of Chemistry, c/o Dr. Pratima Sharma. <text>Acetate protected Naphthalene Coupled Benzothiazole (NCB) has been designed and synthesized for selective detection of perborate (BO3) and ammonia (NH3) based on modulation of excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) process by chemodosimetric deacetylation pathway. In presence of nucleophilic species like BO3 and NH3, acetyl group deprotection of NCB resulted ESIPT within the molecule exhibiting a significant enhancement of absorption and emission signals at 425 nm and 472 nm respectively. The emission enhancement of NCB has been observed by 31-folds and 14-folds in presence of BO3 and NH3 respectively. The selectivity and fast sensitivity of NCB have been shown by the lower detection limit (1.32 M for BO3, 1.74 M for NH3 in UVvis study and 0.60 M for BO3 and 4.39 M for NH3 in fluorescence study) and fast response (rate constants: 12.36 s?1 and 5.54 s?1 for BO3 and NH3 respectively). Analytes induced deacetylation pathway of NCB followed by ESIPT has been clearly demonstrated by theoretical calculation. The test strips based on NCB with BO3 and NH3 are fabricated, which can act as a convenient and efficient test kits for both these analytes. In the practical applications, the sensor NCB can be utilized as low cost food spoilage indicator and soil analysis by fluorometric method. 2024 Elsevier B.V.</text>

<text>Using census data of non-agricultural workers for 2011, this study aims to examine trends and determinants of travel behaviour in India. Descriptive statistics accompanied by a beta regression model of proportional outcomes are implemented on the obtained data. The study finds that men are the dominant users of motorized transport in the country. Most workers travel a short distance of less than 5km, irrespective of area or gender. Population density, the share of married population and the share of rural population in a district significantly influence the share of environmentally sustainable travel behaviour displayed by that region. To the best of our comprehension, this is one of the primary studies elucidating the comparison of travel behaviour in ruralurban areas of Indian states. Not many studies in India have addressed the issue of influence of socio-demographic factors on environmentally sustainable travel choices. With this analysis, policymakers in the transportation sector can get a clearer idea of the behaviour and demands of different divisions of society. The findings of this study demand the evolution of infrastructure of public transportation and non-motorized transportation in the country in such a way that is both efficient and secure to neither impede the goals of empowerment or sustainability. <text>The term Internet of Things (IoT) represents a vast interconnected network comprising ordinary objects enhanced with electronics like sensors, actuators, and wireless connectivity. These augmentations enable seamless communication and data sharing among devices. IoT constitutes an ecosystem of programs, systems, and technologies that operate across diverse communication services. In our rapidly evolving world, cutting-edge technologies are swiftly gaining prominence. IoT, in particular, strives to proliferate innovative applications, programs, and communication amalgamating the virtual and physical realms. The bedrock of this communication is the machine-to-machine communication paradigm. IoT encompasses a spectrum of technologies encompassing smart vehicles, efficient vehicle parking management systems, and roadway-embedded sensors, culminating in the vision of a smart city. Such integration has the potential to alleviate traffic congestion and curb energy consumption. The impact of IoT extends to power generation and business operations, promising transformative outcomes. Furthermore, the synergy between IoT and cloud computing plays a pivotal role in the wireless communication domain. This paper offers a comprehensive insight into IoT's functionalities and underscores the associated security threats. The study aims to equip academia with an enhanced understanding of diverse IoT applications, particularly their integration with cloud computing, referred to as the Cloud of Things.. 2023 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.</text>

<text>The study examines board characteristics, corporate social responsibility (CSR) assurance and social performance disclosure of listed firms before and after mandatory CSR reporting in India. We used the Indian stock market as the testing grounds and applied panel regression and difference-in-differences to analyse 960 firm-year observations between 2010 and 2021. The first findings show that independent board directors and total board size are insignificant in CSR assurance engagement in a mandatory CSR policy period. However, CEO duality is less than likely causing CSR assurance engagement. The second findings show that CSR assurance engagement more than likely causes an increase in social performance disclosure before mandatory CSR policy implementation and increases social performance after policy implementation. The third findings show that the interactive effect of board characteristics (independent directors, total board size and CEO duality) and CSR assurance engagement causes an increase in social performance disclosure. The study sought clarity on the impact of CSR assurance and mandatory CSR reporting on information asymmetry problems to stakeholders. The study also contributes new knowledge on the influence of the interactive effect of board characteristics and CSR assurance on the social performance disclosure of listed firms in India. 2022 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.</text>

<text>Interest towards electric vehicle adoption is on the rise due to the lower running and maintenance cost it offers, along with zero tailpipe emissions. Range anxiety is one of the only concern that affects the adoption of electric vehicles. The state of charge of the traction battery pack has to be accurately determined and provided to the user to avoid range anxiety. Minute battery parameters has to be considered to improve the accuracy of the state of charge determination. In order to overcome the problem of range anxiety, an innovative strategy that takes into account how vibrations affect the performance of EV batteries is developed in this research. By doing this, the state of charge estimation precision is improved and thereby raises the drivers faith in electric vehicles. The impacts and vibrations felt on the traction battery pack during driving would lead to heat generation. The heat generated is found to be highest when the vibrations resonate at the natural frequencies of the traction battery pack. The natural frequency of the battery pack is considered when the battery is kept in the battery chamber of the two-wheeler electric vehicle. The vibrations at natural frequency produces heat which is accounted for when the state of charge is determined. To obtain accurate state of charge estimation, a Kalman filter-based approach is used. The Kalman filter-based estimation uses the conventional methods which are the open circuit voltage method and the Coulomb counting method to improve the estimation process along with the consideration of the heat component due to vibrations and impact. The vibration analysis is performed using MATLAB, while the state of charge determination is implemented in hardware and the Kalman estimation done using Python. The system is modelled on an electric two-wheeler platform and the testing is done to compare the state of charge accuracy of the open circuit voltage method, the Coulomb counting method and the Kalman filter-based estimation approach. The inclusion of the vibrational heat analysis for State of Charge estimation in the hardware testing of the electric two-wheeler provides an accurate state of charge value. <text>In this paper, the notion of a newly derived signed graph called a coset component graph, based on cosets of subgroups of a group is introduced. Let G be a group and H be its subgroup. Then, the coset component graph of H in G, denoted by ?cc, is a simple graph with the vertex set consisting of elements of G and two vertices say, a, b ? ?cc are adjacent if either aH = bH or Ha = Hb. A coset component signed graph of H in G is a signed graph whose edges get the sign in accordance with their inclusion in the edge set of the corresponding coset component graph. The structure and important properties of the coset component signed graphs are determined in this paper. 2024 World Scientific Publishing Company.</text>

<text>The present work involves the synthesis of 2D covalent organic framework involving zinc phthalocyanine and perylene systems (2DZnPc) as low-power LED visible-light sensitizer for ZnO nanomaterial. The synthesized materials and their composites (2DZnPc@ZnO) were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Solid-state diffuse reflectance spectrophotometer to understand the structure, size, morphology, and optical properties. To examine the photodegradation competence of ZnO alone and its four different composites (2DZnPc@ZnO5, 2DZnPc@ZnO10, 2DZnPc@ZnO15, and 2DZnPc@ZnO20) in the presence of the energy-efficient low-power white LED (16 W) as source of visible light, and as modular pollutants, cationic methylene violet (MV) and anionic Eosin Y (EY) dyes were employed. The effect of different parameters on photocatalytic activity such as photocatalyst dosage, interaction time, pH of dye solution, and photocatalyst re-usage is examined. The results indicate that photosensitizing ZnO with 2DZnPc improved photocatalytic performance for the photodegradation of MV and EY dyes substantially. In an optimized environment, the removal efficiency of MV and EY was found to be 98 and 92 % respectively in 90 min. 2024 Elsevier Ltd</text>
