<text>Purpose: This study aims to examine the impact of oil consumption on carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and total factor productivity (TFP) in highly oil-consuming countries of the world from 1995 to 2019. Design/methodology/approach: For this purpose, fully modified ordinary least squares (FMOLS) and dynamic ordinary least squares (DOLS) are applied. Findings: FMOLS and DOLS models reveal that oil consumption, human capital, population, trade openness and nonrenewable energy have a significant positive effect on CO2 emissions. While information and communication technology (ICT), as proxied by mobile and natural resources, has a significant negative effect on CO2 emissions. In the case of TFP, oil consumption, ICT and natural resources have a significant positive effect on the TFP. On the other hand, trade openness, population, human capital and nonrenewable energy have a significant negative effect on TFP. The results of this study can help to provide policy recommendations to reduce CO2 emissions in studied highly oil-consuming countries of the world. Originality/value: Due to the threat to sustainable development, climate change has become a major topic for debate around the world. The influence of oil consumption on CO2 emission and TFP is less known in the available literature. Another significance of this study is that many researchers considered aggregate energy consumption to study this relationship, but the authors have studied the effect of energy consumption, particularly from oil in the top oil-consuming countries, which is a significant shortcoming of the present research. 2023, Emerald Publishing Limited.</text>

<text>Green finance has evolved as a concept aiming to integrate environmental protection and economic profits. Growing global concern towards climate change, greenhouse gas emissions, industrial pollution control, waste management, and environmental protection has caught the attention of countries and policymakers towards innovative financial products and services that are used to address a broader range of environmental concerns. Financial instruments such as green bonds, green stocks and loans effectively guide capital investment towards environment-friendly projects and promote the United Nations sustainable development goals. Thus, green finance is considered a compelling concept that plays a vital role in promoting sustainability. The authors used the Scopus database to perform a bibliometric review of green finance from 2001 to 2022 to determine the current trend and progress in the field. The article presents a thorough bibliometric and temporal analysis that provides inputs that other researchers on this topic have not evaluated. VoS Viewer and Biblioshiny. The software was used to visually analyse the data and identify patterns of co-occurrences and prominent research themes. The graphical and systematic mapping illustrates the evolution in publications over time and identifies areas of current research interests. The findings show that the research on green finance has gained momentum from 2014 onwards. The analysis provides a comprehensive overview of the green finance-related research, which will help the researchers and policymakers to examine better the trends and future direction of the development of green finance. 2023 MDI.</text>

<text>This research study emphasized the importance of explicit instruction and repeated exposure to the target vocabulary for effective reception and production of new words among the second language learners of English. The purpose of the study was to examine the efficacy of the researcher- created supplementary for the prescribed set of vocabulary in the English language textbook. The study aimed to find out the amount of influence the explicit instruction and repeated exposure to the target vocabulary had on the nature of the receptive- productive gap. A total of sixty-two sixth grade students from a Government school in Tamil Nadu, India, participated in the experimental study which was conducted over a period of three months. The results of the study showed that the explicit instruction and repeated exposure to the target vocabulary had a significant amount of influence on vocabulary knowledge when compared to the conventional way of vocabulary instruction. In the conventional mode of vocabulary instruction, reception of vocabulary was found to have an average of 8% influence on the production knowledge, whereas in the case of the experimental group, it amounted up to 72%. This analysis showed that through explicit instruction and repeated exposure to the target vocabulary the receptive- productive gap is significantly reduced. 2020 JLLS and the Authors - Published by JLLS.</text>

<text>The fourth industrial revolution (I4.0) has changed the traditional business model, bringing various benefits, including increased efficiency and productivity in organizations. However, to attain success in I4.0 practices requires collaboration from various stakeholders. This study objectives to identify the facilitators of I4.0 practices that can lead to successful collaboration among stakeholders from a circular perspective. An extensive literature review is performed to identify 14 potential facilitators. Further, the study adopts a mixed methodology of Best-Worst Method (BWM) and Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) to analyze the interconnectedness among the identified facilitators. BWM method was used to determine the relative importance of the identified facilitators, while ISM technique was used to determine the relationships between the facilitators of I4.0 practices. The findings from the study reveal that to strengthen stakeholder collaboration, organizations need to focus more on training and capacity-building programs and create more opportunities for technology exchange. 2023 The Author(s). <text>Purpose: This study integrated the knowledge-attitude-behavior (KAB) model and the theory of planned behavior (TPB) to analyze how elements of electronic word of mouth (eWOM)argument quality (AQ) and source credibility (CR)influenced customers green cosmetics behavioral intention (BI). Methodology: Data were collected from a sample of 350 customers through an online survey, and a two-stage process was used to evaluate the research model. In the first stage, linear associations between the various elements of the theoretical model were determined using structural equation modeling (SEM). The second stage involved evaluating the predicting efficacy of the constructs, using an artificial neural network (ANN) framework. Findings: The findings of the multi-analytical study revealed that attitude (Atd), perceived behavioral control (Pbcon), and source credibility (CR) influenced consumers intentions to buy green cosmetics. Moreover, the sources credibility (CR) and the arguments quality (AQ) also positively influenced consumer attitude (Atd). The models appeared to have acceptable prediction accuracy based on the ANN studys root mean square of error (RMSE) values. Originality: The study contributed to the body of green cosmetics literature by integrating knowledge-attitude-behavior (KAB) and planned behavior (TPB) theory. The novelty of this research also lies in examining the moderating effect of perceived innovativeness (PI) for developing a robust predictive framework for green cosmetics purchase intention using artificial neural networks (ANN). 2024, Associated Management Consultants Pvt. <text>Background: The mounting pressure to pursue novel endeavours, excel in academics and extracurriculars, improper mentoring, and looming deadlines have primarily been responsible for graduate students succumbing to the cut-throat competition prevalent in universities. In trying to keep up with the growing expectations, they may experience Impostor Phenomenon, which is often accompanied by feelings of unwarranted inadequacy and intellectual fraudulence-where students constantly question their capabilities despite evident success. Attributing their accomplishments to a stroke of luck, they believe they are not worthy of praise. These experiences of impostor phenomenon end up exacting a heavy toll on the mental well-being of graduate students and subsequently, their perceptions of available sources of social support. Purpose: In this context, the present investigation attempts to explore the impact of impostor phenomenon on psychological well-being and perceived social support among Indian graduate students; and analyze the gender differences in the experiences of impostor phenomenon. Design/Methodology/Approach: The sample consisted of 230 Indian graduate students (115 males and 115 females) aged 18-25 years, who had academic scores equivalent to, or above, 65%. Purposive sampling technique was employed to gather data using the Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale, Ryffs Psychological Well-Being Scale, and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. Findings: Results of the study yielded that Impostor Phenomenon is a significant negative predictor of Psychological Well-Being, however no significant relationship was established with Perceived Social Support. No significant gender differences emerged from the data analysis. Conclusion: The results can be utilized heuristically to facilitate the identification of graduate students experiencing impostor phenomenon, provide early interventions, and prevent the culmination of the same into psychopathology, thus enriching the literature on this lesser-known phenomenon in an Indian context. 2022 RJ4All.</text>

<text>Dynamic business environments require a change to survive. Strategic cost management (SCM) must re-conceive its future as new, improved, or reformed under opportunities and tough demands. Traditional cost management may not be adaptable to business turbulence. Increasing shareholder and customer demand, rapid information and technology improvements in manufacturing, and worldwide market rivalry with antiquated tools can be difficult. SCM goes beyond cost reduction and includes revenue generation and competitive advantage. This article examines the relationship between adopting and applying SCM approaches and company success in agro-based industrial businesses. Empirical survey data from agro-based industrial companies in Punjab were analysed using multivariate data analysis. According to contingency theory, size, technology, total productivity maintenance, strategy, and organisation culture are factors related to strategic cost management. All dependent factors, including control variable size, favourably affected SCM acceptance and utilisation, which has a pragmatic effect on agro-based businesses. SCM utilisation also mediated performance. 2025 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.</text>

<text>Purpose: This study aims to determine website quality, young adult socialization and dark triad personality as the factors influencing the real estate purchase decision. In addition, this study also measures the mediating effects of young adult socialization on real estate purchase buying behavior. Design/methodology/approach: Related literature, quantifiable variables with a five-point Likert scale, hypothesis testing and mediators are used to study the model. A systematic questionnaire that was divided into four sections was used. A total of 336 valid responses were collected and analyzed through a structural equation model. Findings: The results suggest that dark triad personality and young adult socialization considerably affect real estate purchase decisions. The development proves website quality does not significantly impact real estate purchase behavior. Research limitations/implications: This study is limited to a few young consumers responses. Future studies could be more widespread globally and should include more variables and offline methods of purchasing behavior. Originality/value: As per the review of existing literature, this research is the first, to the best of the authors knowledge, to determine the factors affecting the real estate purchase decision with factors like website quality, dark triad personalities and young adult socialization involving it. 2024, Emerald Publishing Limited.</text>

<text>This paper explores the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the management structures of modern business organizations. In order to improve operational effectiveness and overall success, it focuses on the integration and effects of AI within Management Information Systems (MIS). The study finds the many advantages artificial intelligence (AI) offers to knowledge management, resource management systems, and organizational effectiveness through a thorough analysis. The paper uses a wide range of scholarly references to explain different aspects of AI-powered management, such as strategic planning, decision-making, and sustainable marketing tactics. The study highlights a notable void in the all-encompassing comprehension of artificial intelligence's concrete contribution to business improvement, thereby promoting a deeper and more empirical investigation of AI's incorporation into business operations. 2024 IEEE.</text>

<text>Utilizing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) framework, this research delved into the behavioral intentions and actual usage of fantasy sports gaming apps. The moderating influence of celebrity trustworthiness and risk propensity is also explored. The proposed hypotheses were tested using responses from a substantial sample of 460 sports fantasy gaming app users. The research deployed a mixed-method approach, combining both covariance-based and partial-least square structural equation modeling tech- niques. The investigation findings revealed an influence on behavioral intentions and actual use. Specifically, performance expectancy, hedonic motivation, habit, and social influence emerged as significant determinants affecting users intentions and behaviors. The study indicates a significant moderating role of celebrity trustworthiness on the relationship be- tween performance expectancy, hedonic motivation, habit, and social influence concerning behavioral intentions. Risk propensity moderated the relationship between behavioral inten- tions and actual usage behavior. As a contribution to the expanding literature, the research extended the application of the UTAUT2 framework to the context of sports fantasy gaming apps. The research also provides valuable insights for researchers and professionals associ- ated with sports fantasy gaming apps and future research directions. 2024</text>

<text>Physical violence within marriages are pervasive issues that affect individuals globally, including in India. This essay examines the prevalence and impact of physical and sensual violence in India from a psychological perspective. The underreporting and stigmatization of these forms of violence pose significant challenges in understanding their true extent. Factors such as power imbalances, gender inequality, and cultural norms contribute to their perpetuation. The psychological consequences experienced by survivors include trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, emotional distress, sexual dysfunction, substance abuse, and self-harm. Additionally, the cycle of violence and revictimization further compounds the psychological impact. Addressing this issue requires legal reforms, raising awareness, promoting education, challenging cultural norms, providing support services, and ensuring accessible mental health support. By addressing the cultural, legal, and psychological dimensions, it is possible to create a society that is free from physical violence and supports survivors in their journey towards healing and empowerment. The objective of this study is to enhance comprehension of the issue of physical violence in India by examining its prevalence and impact. The findings of this research endeavour to facilitate the development of efficacious strategies and interventions to combat this widespread problem in the nation. 2023, Journal for ReAttach Therapy and Developmental Diversities. <text>Objective: As the second most populous country in the world, India accounts for over 20% of the global suicide deaths. Notably, young adults make up 38% of those who die by suicide in India. Yet, the literature on factors associated with suicide within this age group in India is limited. The Interpersonal Theory of Suicide (IPTS) posits thwarted belongingness and perceived burdensomeness as constructs that heighten the risk for suicide. Testing mechanisms that may mediate the relationship between common stressors for young adults in India, such as academic expectations, and suicidal ideation are important to better understand factors contributing to suicide risk within this country. Method: Indian college students (N = 432, M age = 19.41, 73.1% male) completed questionnaires on academic expectations, thwarted belongingness, perceived burdensomeness, collectivism, and suicidal ideation. Results: Current suicidal ideation was endorsed at a rate of 38%. Academic expectancy from the self, perceived burdensomeness, and thwarted belongingness was significantly associated with suicidal ideation. The only significantly mediated pathway was academic expectancy from others to suicidal ideation through perceived burdensomeness. Collectivism was not a significant moderator in the model. Discussion: The sample endorsed high rates of suicidal ideation, highlighting the need for culturally appropriate interventions. Thwarted belongingness, perceived burdensomeness, and academic expectations from oneself may be relevant treatment targets for reducing suicidal ideation among college students in India.HIGHLIGHTS Over one-third of Indian university students endorsed suicidal ideation. Suicidal ideation related to ones own more than others academic expectations. Results offer support for the Interpersonal Theory of Suicide within this context. 2022 International Academy for Suicide Research.</text>

<text>Purpose: The study focuses on the core issue faced by bankers on how to retain existing customers who have encountered an e-service failure and who are skeptical about the justice received through the service recovery process. It further endeavors to create an internal bench-marking model for assessing e-service recovery satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach: By the experimental study, the authors confirm a measurement model using structural equation modeling for examining the impact of perceived service recovery quality antecedents on e-service recovery satisfaction moderated by perceived justice. In total, responses from 399 e-banking customers, who had experienced a e-service failure, were recorded using a 5-point Likert scale with a structured questionnaire. Findings: The perceived e-service recovery quality antecedents identified were perceived information quality, digital commitment, perceived employee performance and perceived service orientation of organization. The empirical results revealed that perceived information quality was the most significant predictor of e-service recovery satisfaction. Perceived justice moderates the relation between perceived service recovery quality and e-service recovery satisfaction. Research limitations/implications: The research does not contemplate the e-service recovery satisfaction of customers who have undergone multiple service failures. Practical implications: The conclusions of the investigation suggest that the four antecedents of perceived e-service recovery quality model are suitable instruments for creating benchmarks for e-service recovery satisfaction for banks, and that perceived justice moderates the relationship between e-service recovery quality and e-service recovery satisfaction. Therefore, policymakers in banks can use this model to assess the e-service recovery quality, and they ought to enhance the perceived justice feel of the customers who have experienced a service failure. Originality/value: There remains scarcity of empirical research focusing on perceived information quality and digital commitment as antecedents of perceived e-service recovery quality and its effect on e-service recovery satisfaction in the banking context. Furthermore, similar studies within the banking sector have rarely considered perceived justice as a moderator variable. Hence, this paper attempts to accomplish the research gap by empirically testing the e-service recovery satisfaction level of a large sample of the population toward four antecedents of perceived e-service recovery quality rendered by banks and create a benchmark model to ascertain e-service recovery satisfaction. 2020, Emerald Publishing Limited.</text>

<text>The transference of the surface seismic wave at the loosely bonded common interface of a visco-piezo composite structure is examined in the current work. With the flexoelectric effect taken into account, the structure is composed of a viscoelastic layer embedded on a piezoelectric substrate. The shear stiffness of the upper layer is thought to be described by a KelvinVoigt model. An analytical separable of variable method is used to derive the complex dispersion relation for both electrically open and short circuit scenarios. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the significant influence of several influencing parameters on the wave's phase velocities and attenuation coefficients. Additionally, a graphic comparison of three rheological models the Maxwell, Newton and KelvinVoigt models is covered. Results indicate that the attenuation curve pertaining to the Maxwell and Newton model is lowest than on the KelvinVoigt model. Some major outcomes are highlighted here as: the prominent influence of bonding parameter is well-proportional to the phase velocity and inversely proportional to the attenuation coefficient, and flexoelectricity has an intensive impact on both phase velocity and attenuation coefficient curves. This theoretical study leads to understanding the piezo-flexo coupling and its potential application to design the sensors, actuators, energy harvesters and nano-electronics. 2024 Wiley-VCH GmbH.</text>

<text>Higher education around the world has moved to online teaching due to COVID-19 pandemic. Students in higher education are compelled to attend online classes and adopt e-learning mode. There is not much evidence on training the students to adopt e-learning and remote learning. However, do they have a positive attitude towards e-learning and has it affected their academic performance? Present study administered an e-learning attitude scale to 840 students of a reputed University to examine whether they have positive or avoidance attitude to e-learning and also analysed e-learning attitude across students demographic characteristics. Study revealed a slight positive correlation between e-learning attitude and academic achievement of postgraduate students and not for undergraduate students. Girls excelled in their achievement and have a more positive e-learning attitude than boys have. Boys showed avoidance e-learning attitude. However, Socio Economic Status (SES) did not affect students e-learning attitude but influenced their academic achievement. Study concludes that stakeholders must create more opportunities to develop a positive attitude towards e-learning as future education is likely to be technology integrated. 2022 by the authors.</text>

<text>Purpose: The present study examines the association between the choices of casual footwear attributes of women in accordance with their behavioral pattern. Design/Methodology/Approach: Data was collected from 2365 women through a questionnaire that comprised of two sections. The first section comprised of 50 AIO statements based on which the respondents were profiled according to their behavioural patterns. The second section comprised of selected footwear and store attributes. The consumers were profiled into eleven clusters using factor analysis. The regression scores were used to assign the respondents to the respective components that were extracted through factor analysis. Reliability Test and KMO Test were conducted to check the reliability and adequacy of the sample size. Further, only those variables that qualified the collinearity test were alone subject to regression analysis. Through ANOVA test, it was observed that significant differences existed among the consumers within the clusters. Therefore, the AIO statements were considered as independent variables that were regressed against ten selected footwear attributes. Findings: The Results indicated that consumers with different behaviors had varied preferences towards footwear attributes. Practical Implications: The results of the study indicate that the manufacturers in the footwear sector should revisit their existing strategies and target the consumers on the basis of their behavior as the proliferation of the unorganized sector is very high in this sector. Original Value: There are innumerable literatures that focus on trade policies followed in the footwear market in international countries, treatment of workers in the footwear industry, therapeutic use of footwear, supply chain patterns etc., but hardly any significant study that explores the consumers' behaviour and their association towards their footwear preferences has been conducted. Behavioral segmentation has been used in many other products like apparels, insurance, real estate etc., but not in the footwear sector. The present study is an attempt to fill this gap.</text>
