<text>This paper empirically investigates the impact of exchange rate volatility on the real exports in India using the ARDL bounds testing procedure proposed by Pesaran et al. (2001). Using annual time series data, the empirical analyses has been carried out for the period 1970 to 2011. The study results confirm that real exports are cointegrated with exchange rate volatility, real exchange rate, gross domestic product and foreign economic activity. Our findings indicate that the exchange rate volatility has significant negative impact on real exports both in the short-run and long-run, implying that higher exchange rate fluctuation tends to reduce real exports in India. Besides, the real exchange rate has negative short-run and positive long-run effects on real exports. The empirical results reveal that GDP has a positive and significant impact on India's real exports in the long-run, but the impact turns out to be insignificant in the short-run. In addition, the foreign economic activity exerts significant negative and positive impact on real exports in the short-run and long-run, respectively. 2013 Growing Science Ltd. <text>This article aims to examine the influence of international trade wars on the majority of stock market operations, both directly and indirectly affected. The impact of the trade war on the exchange rates of the participating countries was similarly negative. This article seeks to trace the conversion standards' footprints in the United States, China, and India using several indexes such as the Shanghai Composite Index, Dow Jones index, and Nifty 50. The cost of closing down various indices on a daily basis, as well as the conversion standard upsides of the participating currencies, are all examined in this study. Furthermore, utilizing the OLS and GARCH models, this work provides insights into measuring the uncertainties about the impact of exchanging scale on financial exchange. According to the findings of OLS, changes in the swapping scale have had a minor impact on the daily closing costs of stock records in the individual countries. The conversion standard, on the other hand, has a major impact on trade volumes in all three stock markets. When compared to the SSE and DJI equities, the GARCH model predicts that the contingent shift will be less shocking, resulting in a smaller impact on Nifty trade volume. To replicate the impact of trade wars during the Covid-19 crisis, the final results imply that data from domestic and international financial transactions must include securities market transactions. <text>Excited state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) organic luminophores with excitation wavelength-dependent color tunability have drawn significant attention due to their exceptional photoluminescent properties in solution and solid state. A novel salicylaldehyde-based Schiff's base molecule, (E)-N'-(3,5-dibromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)benzohydrazide (BHN) exhibited stimuli (excitation wavelength and pH) induced changes in fluorescence properties which was utilised for applications like trace level water sensing in organic solvents (THF, acetone and DMF), detection and quantification of biogenic amines and anticounterfeiting. In the solution state, BHN rendered a ratiometric detection and quantification of ammonia, diethylamine and trimethylamine, which is further supported by DFT studies. The photoluminescent response of BHN towards various biogenic amines was later utilised to monitor shrimp freshness. The investigation carried out highlights the potential versatility of ESIPT hydrazones, which renders multi stimuli responsive behaviour that can be utilised for water sensing, anticounterfeiting and the detection and quantification of biogenic amines. 2023 Elsevier Ltd</text>

<text>We have investigated the role of a few prominent excitation mechanisms viz. collisional excitation, recombination, continuum fluorescence, and Lyman beta fluorescence on the O i line spectra in Herbig Ae/Be stars. The aim is to understand which of them is the central mechanism that explains the observed O i line strengths. The study is based on an analysis of the observed optical spectra of 62 Herbig Ae/Be stars and near-infrared spectra of 17 Herbig Ae/Be stars. The strong correlation observed between the line fluxes of O i ?8446 and O i ?11287, as well as a high positive correlation between the line strengths of O i ?8446 and H? suggest that Lyman beta fluorescence is the dominant excitation mechanism for the formation of O i emission lines in Herbig Ae/Be stars. Furthermore, from an analysis of the emission line fluxes of O i ??7774, 8446, and comparing the line ratios with those predicted by theoretical models, we assessed the contribution of collisional excitation in the formation of O i emission lines. 2018 The American Astronomical Society. <text>Fluorescent probes incorporating the excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) phenomenon have emerged as versatile tools in scientific research. These probes exhibit dual emission, resulting from the unique transfer of a proton within the molecule upon excitation. This property makes ESIPT-based Schiff bases highly attractive for metal detection, cell imaging, and sensing biologically important molecules. In metal detection, the spectral changes of ESIPT-based Schiff bases upon interaction with metal ions enable the development of sensitive and selective sensors. For cell imaging, their photophysical properties make them ideal for labeling cellular components and facilitating multicolor imaging. In sensing biomolecules, ESIPT-based Schiff bases offer selective detection of interactions and enzymatic activities. Integration of these probes holds great promise for applications in environmental monitoring, biomedical research, and healthcare. This review focuses on the photoluminescent properties and application of ESIPT dual emission Schiff bases for sensing of metal ions, biologically relevant molecules and cell imaging. 2023 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.</text>

<text>The intricate molecular architecture of ESIPT salicylaldehyde Schiff bases facilitates dynamic processes, inducing tunable photoluminescent properties. Notably, their halochromic nature, exhibiting colour changes in response to external stimuli, adds a vibrant dimension to their molecular repertoire. This sensitivity extends to environmental factors, making them valuable indicators for alterations in surroundings. The compound (E)-N-(3,5-dibromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)-4-methylbenzohydrazide (PTBH) demonstrates exceptional sensitivity to ammonia, enabling real-time detection (LOD = 0.14 nM) in both solution (ratiometric) and the solid state. Moreover, their metal chelation capability allows simultaneous sensing of Mg2+ and Fe2+ ions, addressing environmental hazards. Exploiting molecular recognition, the fluorescent probe serves as sensors for amino acids, opening new avenues in biomedical diagnostics. The study introduces a novel solid-state emissive Schiff base, highlighting its stimuli-responsive photoluminescent properties and diverse applications, emphasising its potential in intelligent fluorescent materials for analytical and sensing technologies. 2024 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.</text>

<text>The current paper makes obvious the elimination of chromium(VI) ion, from wastewater via adsorption technique with activated carbon generated from Manilkara zapota tree (MZTWAC). Preliminarily MZTWAC has undergone characterization studies which uncovered the suitability of MZTWAC to expel chromium(VI) from aqueous solution. Batch adsorption experimentation was premeditated with the competence of central composite design (CCD) and it was executed. Response surface methodology (RSM) was the key optimization software to appraise the adsorptive chattels of MZTWAC engaged in removing chromium(VI) ion in aqueous solution which explored the interactions flanked between four expounding variables explicitly initial concentration of chromium(VI) ion, pH of the solution, MZTWAC dose and time of exposure, and contact time. The response variable that was concentrated in the study was adsorption capacity. It was deduced a polynomial in quadratic equation was documented amid the adsorption capacity and variables influencing the adsorption with R2=0.9792 which was projected as the best suit for the adsorption process. ANOVA that is expanded as analysis of variance judged the connotation of adsorption process variables. 0.2 g of MZTWAC dosage has removed 87.629% chromium(VI) from aqueous solution. The enhancement of adsorption process reclined on the attainment of maximum adsorption capacity which further depends on the optimization of variables under consideration. This criterion was accomplished by the desirability function optimizing the process variables. 2022 S. Sujatha et al.</text>

<text>The present study examined the relationship between executive functions and psychological flourishing. Executive functions are based on three broad brain capacities namely: inhibitory control, working memory and cognitive flexibility. The participants for the study comprised 99 executives working in public sector organizations in India. Correlational analysis was computed to examine the relationship between executive functions and psychological flourishing. Multiple regression was used to find out if executive functions predicted psychological flourishing. The significant positive association of psychological flourishing with self-restraint, working memory, emotional control, focus, task initiation, planning/prioritization, organization, time management, defining and achieving goals, flexibility and observation was observed. The results of the multiple regression indicated that working memory, focus and observation predicted psychological flourishing. 2021 Ecological Society of India. All rights reserved.</text>

<text>Probiotic bacteria are producers of secretory products such as bacteriocins and polysaccharides. Both homopolymeric and heteropolymeric exopolysaccharides (EPS) present on the surface of microorganisms have shown beneficial properties. While the fact that they play a role in bacterial homeostasis is well established, studies exploring their health promoting effects have also gained traction. Some exopolysaccharides function by inducing immune tolerance, others act by evading immune responses such as those by B and T cells. The interaction between the EPS and the immune system helps protect the bacteria against an attack by the host immune system. Several exopolysaccharides also show tolerogenic properties by reducing the amount of pro-inflammatory cytokines and increasing IL-10 production. They are also associated with anti-bacterial activity, anti-biofilm activity and anti-tumour properties. This review highlights the different types of exopolysaccharides and their health benefiting potentials. Better understanding of these mechanisms will pave the way for harnessing their potential to improve our health. The Author(s) 2023.</text>

<text>Exosome trans-membrane signals provide cellular communication between the cells through transport and/or receiving the signal by molecule, change the functional metabolism, and stimulate and/or inhibit receptor signal complexes. COVID19 genetic transformations are varied in different geographic positions, and single nucleotide polymorphic lineages were reported in the second waves due to the fast mutational rate and adaptation. Several vaccines were developed and in treatment practice, but effective control has yet to reach in cent presence. It was initially a narrow immune-modulating protein target. Controlling these diverse viral strains may inhibit their transuding mechanisms primarily to target RNA genes responsible for COVID19 transcription. Exosomal miRNAs are the main sources of transmembrane signals, and trans-located miRNAs can directly target COVID19 mRNA transcription. This review discussed targeted viral transcription by delivering the artificial miRNA (amiRNA) mediated exosomes in the infected cells and significant resources of exosome and their efficacy. 2022 The Authors</text>

<text>Breast cancer (BC) is among the most frequent cancer and is, more challenging to treat due to its heterogeneity and metastatic ability. Among extracellular vesicles, exosomes are quite significant for diagnosis and prognosis, given their pleiotropy and drug-carrying abilities. Studying their functions, morphology, biogenesis, and involvement in important pathways can help us understand their role in BC proliferation. A detailed review of their roles in different stages of BC as metastatic disease, such as proliferation, intravasation, epithelial to mesenchymal transition, extravasation, immune evasion, and metastatic growth, can help us understand how to target therapy as well as diagnosis. In the metastatic process, exosome involvement can also be tied to the seed and soil hypothesis, allowing us to understand the direction of progression. From their isolation to the study of their contents in relevance to BC in the process of detection, we have therapeutic applications and can make a significant contribution to the field of oncology. Hence, the present review focuses on this exosome-mediated cell signaling molecule and its importance in BC progression and development. 2022 Anushka and Pappuswamy, et al.</text>

<text>The release of a division of extracellular entities with 40-100 nm dimension from both tumor and varied mesenchymal stem cells during pathologic conditions is termed as exosomes that are shown to actively participate in chemical signaling events occurring in multicellular organisms infection. Exosomes act as a vehicle for shifting amino acids, lipids, and genetic components that are readily engulfed by far-flanging cells (or adjacent cells) at the site of release for remolding the receptor cell functions once the biological contents get activated. Furthermore, pathogens too display the dispense of exosomes to temper the hosts immune response and trigger the infection rate, making them apt investigation markers for diseases. Additionally, aiding in antigen presentation and immune response stimulation, exosomes are significant in showing contrasting role as initiating anticarcinogenic responses and involving in promoting tumorigenesis as they are released from tumor cells. Due to their site specificity, cell lineage property, and encapsulation of specific constituents, exosomes can be potentially utilized as a precious investigatory and prognostic tool along with a possible carrier of drugs and gene shipment for curative goal. Since exosome groundwork is at the infancy stage, deeper insight is required to know its composition, formation, and targeting mechanism along with its significant role in disease diagnosis and treatment. This states, as mentioned previously, we have tried to focus solely on the functional and clinical implications of exosomes in-depth in this review. 2021 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.</text>

<text>The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged lives globally in unprecedented ways. While numerous studies have discussed the impact of this pandemic on human lives, this descriptive study examined how this pandemic affected personal well-being (PW) for members of Indian higher education in the early phase of the pandemic in 2020 when there were no vaccines and remedies available. Research participants (n = 551) were faculty members, graduate students, and non-teaching staff in Indian higher education. At the time of data collection, when all campuses were closed, all participants were functioning in their roles in the academic communities via virtual platforms. This descriptive study, based on a mixed-methods research design with concurrent triangulation strategies, collected data from all regions of India. Resulting data identified and discussed the impact of the pandemic on six domains of PW in the life of participants: (a) self-care; (b) professional growth; (c) quality of interrelationship within the family; (d) relationships with significant others outside of the family; (e) process of experiencing/facing and addressing challenges; and, (f) relationship with spirituality/transcendental dimensions. The relevance of the last domain may be unique to Indian participants socio-cultural context and ethos. The findings and discussion explain how PW is a composite of all these six domains, and the pandemic expanded the notion of PW for the members of Indian higher education. Further, the findings also provided a general orientation on how educational leadership teams and institutions can enhance at least three specific dimensions of their community members and thus increase the likelihood of improving the quality of their professional and personal life. The findings may also have relevance for academic communities worldwide and inform clinicians working with members of academic communities, educational institutions, and policymakers.
