<text>In todays dynamic and fiercely competitive business world, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can benefit greatly from using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Because these technologies may revolutionize decision-making, data management, and operational efficiency, they are a compelling choice for SMEs who aspire to thrive in their respective industries. This study provides an in-depth analysis of the impact of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), focusing on the challenges encountered during the pre and post-adoption phases. The research incorporates quantitative data from 36 SMEs that have undergone ERP implementation. The study aims to unravel the challenges of ERP adoption in SMEs through statistical analysis, including paired and independent samples t-tests, Pearson Chi-square tests, and non-parametric tests such as Wilcoxon Signed Rank and Mann-Whitney tests. The findings reveal a significant reduction in operational challenges post-ERP adoption, highlighting the efficiency gains from ERP systems. The findings advocate for a strategic approach to ERP adoption, emphasizing the importance of vendor selection and the nuanced role of employee training in ensuring the successful integration and utilization of ERP systems within SMEs. It is also important to establish a continuous monitoring and evaluation mechanism to resolve issues when and where occurred. <text>Background: With the second-highest population in the world, suicide-related deaths in India are high, and adults under 30 are particularly at an increased risk. However, empirical examinations of factors contributing to suicide in India and assessments of reliability and validity of self-report measures assessing these constructs are rare. Aims: The present study examined the psychometric properties of the Interpersonal Needs Questionnaire (INQ). Materials & Methods: Undergraduate students in India (N=432) completed the INQ and questionnaires assessing suicidal ideation, depression, fearlessness about death, and pain tolerance. Results: Confirmatory factor analyses of the 15-item INQ indicated that after removing three items assessing perceived burdensomeness, the two-factor structure of INQ demonstrated acceptable fit with good internal consistency for each of the subscales (?=.84.90). In line with the interpersonal-psychological theory of suicidal behavior (IPTS), thwarted belongingness and perceived burdensomeness interacted to predict suicidal ideation. Additionally, these constructs were positively associated with suicidal ideation and depression, and weakly correlated with fearlessness about death and pain tolerance. Discussion: Results support the relevance of the IPTS for understanding suicidal ideation among college students in India. Conclusion: The results suggest that modified INQ demonstrates strong internal consistency, as well as good construct, criterion, and discriminant validity among Indian college students. 2021 The American Association of Suicidology.</text>

<text>This study examines the key components influencing organizational attractiveness in the Information Technology (IT) sector in Bangalore, India. A multistage sampling technique was employed to gather data from employees across twenty IT software companies in Bangalore. A structured questionnaire was administered, and a total of 740 responses were collected. Data analysis was conducted using the Statistical Programme for Social Sciences (SPSS 25.0), incorporating descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Exploratory factor analysis with Promax rotation was applied to extract the primary factors contributing to organizational attractiveness. The analysis revealed nine critical factors influencing organizational attractiveness: career growth opportunities (CGO), corporate social responsibility (CSR), flexible work practices (FWP), perceived organizational prestige (POP), perceived organizational support (POS), happiness at work (HAW), professional stability (PS), work options (WO), and compressed workweeks (CW). CGO and FWP emerged as the most impactful factors, reflecting employees' preferences for career advancement and work-life balance. CSR and POP highlight the importance of organizational values and reputation. The Author(s).</text>

<text>Purpose: This study aims to examine the impact of oil consumption on carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and total factor productivity (TFP) in highly oil-consuming countries of the world from 1995 to 2019. Design/methodology/approach: For this purpose, fully modified ordinary least squares (FMOLS) and dynamic ordinary least squares (DOLS) are applied. Findings: FMOLS and DOLS models reveal that oil consumption, human capital, population, trade openness and nonrenewable energy have a significant positive effect on CO2 emissions. While information and communication technology (ICT), as proxied by mobile and natural resources, has a significant negative effect on CO2 emissions. In the case of TFP, oil consumption, ICT and natural resources have a significant positive effect on the TFP. On the other hand, trade openness, population, human capital and nonrenewable energy have a significant negative effect on TFP. The results of this study can help to provide policy recommendations to reduce CO2 emissions in studied highly oil-consuming countries of the world. Originality/value: Due to the threat to sustainable development, climate change has become a major topic for debate around the world. The influence of oil consumption on CO2 emission and TFP is less known in the available literature. Another significance of this study is that many researchers considered aggregate energy consumption to study this relationship, but the authors have studied the effect of energy consumption, particularly from oil in the top oil-consuming countries, which is a significant shortcoming of the present research. 2023, Emerald Publishing Limited.</text>

<text>Green finance has evolved as a concept aiming to integrate environmental protection and economic profits. Growing global concern towards climate change, greenhouse gas emissions, industrial pollution control, waste management, and environmental protection has caught the attention of countries and policymakers towards innovative financial products and services that are used to address a broader range of environmental concerns. Financial instruments such as green bonds, green stocks and loans effectively guide capital investment towards environment-friendly projects and promote the United Nations sustainable development goals. Thus, green finance is considered a compelling concept that plays a vital role in promoting sustainability. The authors used the Scopus database to perform a bibliometric review of green finance from 2001 to 2022 to determine the current trend and progress in the field. The article presents a thorough bibliometric and temporal analysis that provides inputs that other researchers on this topic have not evaluated. VoS Viewer and Biblioshiny. The software was used to visually analyse the data and identify patterns of co-occurrences and prominent research themes. The graphical and systematic mapping illustrates the evolution in publications over time and identifies areas of current research interests. The findings show that the research on green finance has gained momentum from 2014 onwards. The analysis provides a comprehensive overview of the green finance-related research, which will help the researchers and policymakers to examine better the trends and future direction of the development of green finance. 2023 MDI.</text>

<text>This research study emphasized the importance of explicit instruction and repeated exposure to the target vocabulary for effective reception and production of new words among the second language learners of English. The purpose of the study was to examine the efficacy of the researcher- created supplementary for the prescribed set of vocabulary in the English language textbook. The study aimed to find out the amount of influence the explicit instruction and repeated exposure to the target vocabulary had on the nature of the receptive- productive gap. A total of sixty-two sixth grade students from a Government school in Tamil Nadu, India, participated in the experimental study which was conducted over a period of three months. The results of the study showed that the explicit instruction and repeated exposure to the target vocabulary had a significant amount of influence on vocabulary knowledge when compared to the conventional way of vocabulary instruction. In the conventional mode of vocabulary instruction, reception of vocabulary was found to have an average of 8% influence on the production knowledge, whereas in the case of the experimental group, it amounted up to 72%. This analysis showed that through explicit instruction and repeated exposure to the target vocabulary the receptive- productive gap is significantly reduced. 2020 JLLS and the Authors - Published by JLLS.</text>

<text>Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) in providing healthcare services in rural and urban areas of Bengaluru. It explores their role efficacy, role clarity, job satisfaction, and social relations while identifying challenges such as workload, financial insecurity, and training deficits that impact their performance. The study provides insights into systemic improvements needed to enhance the efficiency and satisfaction of ASHAs in public healthcare. Study Design/Methodology/Approach: A mixed-method approach was employed, integrating primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected from 400 respondents (ASHAs and community members), and 286 valid responses were analyzed (122 rural, 164 urban). Structured questionnaires and focus group discussions captured qualitative and quantitative insights. Secondary data from the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and government reports provided contextual understanding. Data analysis utilized SPSS 27 for quantitative techniques (ANOVA, t-tests) and NVIVO for qualitative analysis. Cronbachs Alpha assessed reliability, ensuring internal consistency in role efficacy, clarity, stress, satisfaction, and social relations constructs. Findings: ASHAs serve as a crucial link between healthcare systems and communities, with rural ASHAs demonstrating strong interpersonal trust but facing infrastructure deficits. Urban ASHAs confront population density, distrust, and increased workload. Role efficacy remains stable across locations, but urban ASHAs show greater autonomy. Training deficits, workload stress, and financial insecurity significantly impact role satisfaction. Rural ASHAs exhibit greater job role confusion, while urban ASHAs report social constraints. Significant differences in stress arise from knowledge gaps and disrupted work-life balance, affecting mental health and efficiency. Enhanced training, financial incentives, and psychosocial support are critical for sustaining ASHAs' contributions. Originality/Value: This study uniquely contrasts urban and rural ASHA experiences, providing policy insights for optimizing ASHA programs in diverse settings. By identifying key stressors and systemic challenges, it offers targeted recommendations to improve training, compensation, and work conditions, ultimately strengthening Indias public health framework. Research Implications: The findings emphasize the need for structured training in digital healthcare, mental health, and non-communicable diseases. Policy enhancements should focus on increased monetary incentives, timely payments, and career advancement pathways. Addressing the rural-urban divide through community engagement programs and improved infrastructure will optimize ASHA workers impact on public health outcomes. 2025, World Scientific and Engineering Academy and Society. <text>The fourth industrial revolution (I4.0) has changed the traditional business model, bringing various benefits, including increased efficiency and productivity in organizations. However, to attain success in I4.0 practices requires collaboration from various stakeholders. This study objectives to identify the facilitators of I4.0 practices that can lead to successful collaboration among stakeholders from a circular perspective. An extensive literature review is performed to identify 14 potential facilitators. Further, the study adopts a mixed methodology of Best-Worst Method (BWM) and Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) to analyze the interconnectedness among the identified facilitators. BWM method was used to determine the relative importance of the identified facilitators, while ISM technique was used to determine the relationships between the facilitators of I4.0 practices. The findings from the study reveal that to strengthen stakeholder collaboration, organizations need to focus more on training and capacity-building programs and create more opportunities for technology exchange. 2023 The Author(s). <text>Purpose: This study integrated the knowledge-attitude-behavior (KAB) model and the theory of planned behavior (TPB) to analyze how elements of electronic word of mouth (eWOM)argument quality (AQ) and source credibility (CR)influenced customers green cosmetics behavioral intention (BI). Methodology: Data were collected from a sample of 350 customers through an online survey, and a two-stage process was used to evaluate the research model. In the first stage, linear associations between the various elements of the theoretical model were determined using structural equation modeling (SEM). The second stage involved evaluating the predicting efficacy of the constructs, using an artificial neural network (ANN) framework. Findings: The findings of the multi-analytical study revealed that attitude (Atd), perceived behavioral control (Pbcon), and source credibility (CR) influenced consumers intentions to buy green cosmetics. Moreover, the sources credibility (CR) and the arguments quality (AQ) also positively influenced consumer attitude (Atd). The models appeared to have acceptable prediction accuracy based on the ANN studys root mean square of error (RMSE) values. Originality: The study contributed to the body of green cosmetics literature by integrating knowledge-attitude-behavior (KAB) and planned behavior (TPB) theory. The novelty of this research also lies in examining the moderating effect of perceived innovativeness (PI) for developing a robust predictive framework for green cosmetics purchase intention using artificial neural networks (ANN). 2024, Associated Management Consultants Pvt. <text>Background: The mounting pressure to pursue novel endeavours, excel in academics and extracurriculars, improper mentoring, and looming deadlines have primarily been responsible for graduate students succumbing to the cut-throat competition prevalent in universities. In trying to keep up with the growing expectations, they may experience Impostor Phenomenon, which is often accompanied by feelings of unwarranted inadequacy and intellectual fraudulence-where students constantly question their capabilities despite evident success. Attributing their accomplishments to a stroke of luck, they believe they are not worthy of praise. These experiences of impostor phenomenon end up exacting a heavy toll on the mental well-being of graduate students and subsequently, their perceptions of available sources of social support. Purpose: In this context, the present investigation attempts to explore the impact of impostor phenomenon on psychological well-being and perceived social support among Indian graduate students; and analyze the gender differences in the experiences of impostor phenomenon. Design/Methodology/Approach: The sample consisted of 230 Indian graduate students (115 males and 115 females) aged 18-25 years, who had academic scores equivalent to, or above, 65%. Purposive sampling technique was employed to gather data using the Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale, Ryffs Psychological Well-Being Scale, and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. Findings: Results of the study yielded that Impostor Phenomenon is a significant negative predictor of Psychological Well-Being, however no significant relationship was established with Perceived Social Support. No significant gender differences emerged from the data analysis. Conclusion: The results can be utilized heuristically to facilitate the identification of graduate students experiencing impostor phenomenon, provide early interventions, and prevent the culmination of the same into psychopathology, thus enriching the literature on this lesser-known phenomenon in an Indian context. 2022 RJ4All.</text>

<text>Background Domestic violence (DV) is experienced by one in three women in India and is linked to poor mental health outcomes. We hypothesize that maternal experiences of DV can have negative impacts on the mental health of their children. Previous studies have demonstrated this link in Western countries, however culturally specific manifestations of DV and mental health disorders and socio-cultural differences in parent-child relationships and home environments necessitate deeper understanding of the impacts of maternal experiences of DV on children in the Indian context. Methods This study presents a secondary analysis of data collected from a seven-center study in urban and rural India examining mental health disorders among adolescents aged 1217 years and psychological, physical, and sexual abuse affecting their mothers. The Indian Family Violence and Control Scale (IFVCS) was used to examine experiences of DV among mothers and the Mini International Neuropsychiatric InterviewKid (MINI-Kid) was used to examine mental health outcomes among adolescents. Multivariate analyses examined the associations between maternal DV and adolescent mental disorders. Results Data from 2,784 adolescent-mother pairs were analyzed. In bivariate analyses, maternal experiences of physical, psychological, and sexual abuse were significantly associated with adolescent common mental disorders including anxiety and depression (p < 0.05). After adjusting for adolescent gender, site, and education status in the multivariate analysis, physical, sexual, and any DV were significantly associated with adolescent anxiety disorders and common mental disorders. Physical abuse was significantly associated with adolescent depressive disorders. Conclusions These results suggest that exposure to maternal DV significantly impacts adolescent mental health in India and underscore the need to develop trauma-informed school programs and enhance DV prevention for women in India. 2025 Gourisankar et al. <text>Dynamic business environments require a change to survive. Strategic cost management (SCM) must re-conceive its future as new, improved, or reformed under opportunities and tough demands. Traditional cost management may not be adaptable to business turbulence. Increasing shareholder and customer demand, rapid information and technology improvements in manufacturing, and worldwide market rivalry with antiquated tools can be difficult. SCM goes beyond cost reduction and includes revenue generation and competitive advantage. This article examines the relationship between adopting and applying SCM approaches and company success in agro-based industrial businesses. Empirical survey data from agro-based industrial companies in Punjab were analysed using multivariate data analysis. According to contingency theory, size, technology, total productivity maintenance, strategy, and organisation culture are factors related to strategic cost management. All dependent factors, including control variable size, favourably affected SCM acceptance and utilisation, which has a pragmatic effect on agro-based businesses. SCM utilisation also mediated performance. 2025 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.</text>

<text>Purpose: This study aims to determine website quality, young adult socialization and dark triad personality as the factors influencing the real estate purchase decision. In addition, this study also measures the mediating effects of young adult socialization on real estate purchase buying behavior. Design/methodology/approach: Related literature, quantifiable variables with a five-point Likert scale, hypothesis testing and mediators are used to study the model. A systematic questionnaire that was divided into four sections was used. A total of 336 valid responses were collected and analyzed through a structural equation model. Findings: The results suggest that dark triad personality and young adult socialization considerably affect real estate purchase decisions. The development proves website quality does not significantly impact real estate purchase behavior. Research limitations/implications: This study is limited to a few young consumers responses. Future studies could be more widespread globally and should include more variables and offline methods of purchasing behavior. Originality/value: As per the review of existing literature, this research is the first, to the best of the authors knowledge, to determine the factors affecting the real estate purchase decision with factors like website quality, dark triad personalities and young adult socialization involving it. 2024, Emerald Publishing Limited.</text>

<text>This paper explores the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the management structures of modern business organizations. In order to improve operational effectiveness and overall success, it focuses on the integration and effects of AI within Management Information Systems (MIS). The study finds the many advantages artificial intelligence (AI) offers to knowledge management, resource management systems, and organizational effectiveness through a thorough analysis. The paper uses a wide range of scholarly references to explain different aspects of AI-powered management, such as strategic planning, decision-making, and sustainable marketing tactics. The study highlights a notable void in the all-encompassing comprehension of artificial intelligence's concrete contribution to business improvement, thereby promoting a deeper and more empirical investigation of AI's incorporation into business operations. 2024 IEEE.</text>
