It is hypothesized that religiosity and spirituality along with personality traits predict forgiveness among emerging adults. The Neo Five-Factor Inventory (NEO FFI), the Religiosity and Spirituality Scale for Youth (RaSSY), and the Heartland Forgiveness Scale (HFS) were administered to 364 female and 390 male emerging adults (n = 754; mean age = 21 years, SD = 14.88) selected through purposive sampling technique from colleges in Bangalore. Data were analyzed using correlational and hierarchical regression analysis. This study found that religiosity and spirituality and the Big Five personality traits positively correlated with forgiveness whereas all personality traits, except neuroticism, strongly predicted forgiveness more than religiosity and spirituality. Notably, over 69 % of respondents lacked confidence in healthcare providers' knowledge of transgender health needs, and 60 % reported frequent or constant social isolation. The findings were interpreted using Minority Stress Theory, highlighting the compounded impact of lifelong stigma, medical neglect, and aging. The study is based on a systematic survey of 839 rural borrowers from southern India, sampled from four districts with varied levels of credit access (surplus, constrained and moderate credit). The data was analysed using multinomial logistic regression in SPSS. Results show how banks and moneylenders exclude borrowers based on relative wealth and gender. SHGs service women borrowers but are preferred more by wealthier borrowers, highlighting intragroup inequalities. Yet, the three lenders service a variety of purposes, justifying their demand in the market. The study enhances understanding of rural borrowers constraints concerning various credit sources. Here, we report a boron-doped copper catalyst on copper foam (B/CuxO/CF) that efficiently catalyzes FOR with an ultralow onset potential of 0.06 V at 100 mA cm?2. Compared to its phosphorus- and sulfur-doped counterparts (P/CuxO/CF and S/CuxO/CF), B/CuxO/CF exhibits markedly superior activity with ?97% formate yield. Surface analysis confirms the critical role of coexisting Cu+/Cu2+ species in B/CuxO in facilitating the key FOR steps of adsorption and CH cleavage, while the presence of boron improves charge transfer and active site availability. The limited HER activity of B/CuxO/CF was effectively addressed by coupling it with a Ni-based phospho-boride catalyst on Ni foam (NiPB/NF) that delivers selective and high hydrogen evolution performance, even in formaldehyde-containing media. The asymmetric NiPB/NF?B/CuxO/CF configuration achieved 100 mA cm?2 at only 0.25 V and sustained long-term stability with continuous HCHO replenishment, maintaining 300 mA cm?2 for over 8 hours. Operated in a membrane-free flow cell, the system maintained ?90% formate yield with a H2 production faradaic efficiency of ?190%, nearly doubling the hydrogen output. This hybrid strategy not only lowers energy input by 1.64 V compared to water electrolysis but also demonstrates viability for decentralized hydrogen and chemical co-production with economic benefits. The probiotic bacteria isolated from Indian prawn (Penaeus indicus) was identified as Bacillus sp using 16s rRNA sequencing and phylogenetic analysis. The isolate was characterized by evaluating its ability to survive at different pH, temperature and simulated artificial gastric environment and was further subjected to varying concentrations of salt and organic solvents. Antibiofilm activity of the isolate was evaluated against fish pathogens; Vibrio harveyi (96.12.7%), Escherichia coli (96.21.5 %,), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (95.33.0%) and Staphylococcus aureus (96.72.8%). After the end of trail period, growth parameters were evaluated. Weight gain percentage was significantly higher in PrD (15.70.08 %) compared to other treatments. (p<0.05). Feed conversion ratio was least in CD (0.350.09) and feed efficiency (2.70.08) in CD was numerically high compared to other treatments. (p>0.05).The study promotes sustainable aquaculture by the use of alternative aqua feeds derived from plant or animal based sources. When the two materials are combined to form a composite, their structural, optical, and electrical properties are enhanced. This work presents the formulation of nickel oxide (NiO)graphene composite ink (with ethylene glycol as a solvent) for the fabrication of thin-film electrodes using a direct ink writing technique. NiO is used in nanopowder form, which is prepared via a wet-chemical approach. NiO ink is prepared in three different concentrations of 40mg/ml (N1), 60mg/ml (N2), and 70mg/ml (N3). Graphene ink (G) is also prepared in concentrations of 0.5mg/ml (G1), 1mg/ml (G2), and 2mg/ml (G3). Among the pure NiO inks, it was observed that low resistance and uniform printing were obtained for N2. Therefore, N2 is mixed with different concentrations of graphene to form the composite ink, which is further printed on the substrates. The rheological properties of all the formulated inks are measured. An extrusion-based direct-write system is employed for printing the inks on a glass substrate. The printed samples are characterized before and after annealing at 250C for 2h. The resistance of the composite ink (N2G1) is decreased by 53% in comparison with the pure NiO ink (N2). It discharges into the environment and waterways due to its extensive use. Basal media with 0.05% SDS as the sole carbon source was used to isolate bacteria that can utilize SDS. The isolates survived nitrogen-free medium and solubilized potassium and phosphate. Using 16S rRNA sequencing, Enterobacter cloacae strain MSK86 (OR136425) was identified. Stains-all dye was used to test the bacteria's SDS-utilizing capability. A 49% drop in SDS levels in the broth was observed after 7 days of 24-hour analysis. The bacteria exhibited tolerance to heavy metals like Cd (II), Ar (III), and Zn (II) at concentrations up to 2000 ppm, whereas they were susceptible to Cu (II), Cr (II), and Pb (II) at minimum concentrations of 200, 600, and 1000 ppm, respectively. The bacteria effectively reduced SDS levels in the laundry wash water. The treated water was reused for the irrigation of Capsicum annum L. and Solanum lycopersicum L. until the 45th day of growth. The plants' morphological and phytochemical properties were also analyzed. The potential of bacteria for SDS degradation and plant growth enhancement has been extensively explored independently; however, these traits have not been studied together in a single bacterial strain. In the present study, multifaceted Enterobacter cloacae MSK86 was isolated with these capabilities together, which may help in SDS remediation, making the water reusable for irrigation. Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) are viable and potent solar energy harvesters. Sensitizer, a vital part of DSSC, has been researched for years. Alternatively, fossil fuel-Lignite is one of the world's least explored energy sources. Unfortunately, it has been used as a fuel for power generation and tagged as a pollutant. Therefore, in this study, we use lignite-derived graphene quantum dots (GQD) as a DSSC sensitizer and attempt to add value. GQDs with varied bandgaps were obtained and used as sensitizers, and a maximum PCE of 2.87 % was obtained. Additionally, GQD sensitizers were exposed to UV light for 48 h, and the fabricated device exhibited 2.90 % efficiency, showing the photostability of GQDs. Furthermore, the device showed a higher Rrec of 166.57 ?, substantiating the better performance of DSSC. Thus, sensitizers derived from lignite showed a novel use for feedstock previously used for combustion. 2023 Elsevier B.V.
