Evidence from polyvalent workers Description An account of the resource This chapter investigates the influence of flexible working schedules affect the productivity and skill development of polyvalent workers. A thorough literature analysis guided the creation of a questionnaire that was given to 153 polyvalent workers as a sample. The gathered data was subjected to statistical analysis in order to determine how flexible work schedules affected worker productivity and skill development. The results show a strong correlation between flexible work schedules and increased productivity and skill development among employees. Furthermore, it was discovered that these results were significantly impacted by flexible working hours. Flexible schedules can help multitasking employees, who are skilled in a range of jobs, improve their productivity and further develop their skills. A questionnaire was developed, and a sample of 403 responses were collected from the employees. The analysis of the collected data was done using statistical tests of correlation and logistical regression, in order to understand the relationship and impact of gender diversity and leadership style on team performance and innovation potential of teams. The following findings emerged from the analysis. The findings reveal that there is a positive and significant relationship between gender diversity, leadership style, team performance, and innovation. But the applications of graphene-based materials were often hampered by their high production cost, low yield, expensive and scarce precursors, harmful processing techniques, etc. Coal is made up of islands of nanometer-sized crystalline carbon domains linked by a 3D network of amorphous aliphatic carbon and polymerized aromatic hydrocarbons that can be extracted using mild oxidizing agents. In this context, the present study reports the successful usage of low-grade coal, lignite as an ideal precursor for the production of carbon nanostructures for various sensing applications. This research is divided into three parts where value addition to coal is being done along with finding solutions to three major environmental issues: fluorescence sensing of copper ion; noninvasive glucose fluorescence sensing; simultaneous electrochemical sensing of heavy newlinemetal ions cadmium and lead. In the first study, carbon nanostructures were synthesized from lignite by a simple, scalable, and economical technique and the as-prepared carbon nanostructures, namely LC1, LC2 and LC3, demonstrated excellent fluorescence characteristics. LC3 exhibited remarkable copper ion sensing with a dual linear range with limits of detection (LOD) as low as 1.32 pM and 2.35 pM, with limits of quantification (LOQ) 4 pM and 7.14 pM respectively. The accuracy of the manufactured sensor was shown by the recovery rates of copper ions, which varied from 98.18% to 101.2% with Relative newlineStandard Deviations (RSDs) below 0.4%. The results are captivating, implying that newlinethese lignite derived carbon nanostructures could be employed to efficiently and newlineeconomically detect low concentrations of copper ions in water. In the second study, carbon nanoribbons and nanosheets with superior fluorescence were synthesized from lignite, using a facile chemical oxidation process. In this article, the Fuzzy Extraction, Resolving, and Clustering (FERC) architecture is proposed which uses fuzzy logic techniques to identify and cluster uncertain textual spatial reference. When the text corpus is queried with a spatial-keyword, FERC returns a set of relevant documents sorted in view of the fuzzy pertinence score. Any two documents may be compared in light of the spatial references that exist in them and their fuzzy similarity score is presented. This enables finding the degree to which the two documents speak about a specified location. The present study attempted to examine how the volatility in the exchange rate between Indian rupee and selected four foreign currencies, such as US dollar, euro, Japanese yen and British pound, can influence the market return. The data, used in the present study, covered the daily price observation of four foreign currencies, for a period of 5 years, from 2019-2023. The GARCH (1, 1) (generalized autoregressive conditional hetero skedasticity) was used for develop the model for foreign exchange (FX) rates volatility. Mean equation model confirmed that the series had attained stationary and previous price did influence the current price. It was also supported by co-efficient values in the variance equation. The co-efficient value, in the variance equation, was around one, which showed that the forex market was efficient. Further, it was validated that the volatility shocks in forex market were quite persistent. The active investors in the market may use this opportunity immediately. In order to reduce the risk, investors need to diversify, spread their portfolio across a broad mix of assets. Diversifying the portfolio can help smooth out market ups and downs and returns from better performing assets help to offset those that arent performing so well. The present study has empirically examined the portfolio construction with special reference to NSE CNX Nifty Pharma Index. The study applied the Sharpe Single Index model to generate an efficient combination of securities from sample Pharma companies and has come up with a subsequent pattern. The study found that out the sample Pharma companies, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd attracted high risk while Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd experienced the least risk, on the basis of return earned by the companies in the Pharma Index; Aurobindo Pharma Ltd has high return while Lupin Ltd has lowest return. The Simulation result shows that the proposed approach can effectively reduce the PAPR 6dB compared to standard UFMC. The proposed framework employs a novel algorithm, Ensemble Learning with IoT Sensor Data Aggregation (EnIoT-SDA), which integrates ensemble learning techniques with aggregated sensor data to provide accurate and real-time stability assessments of building structures. The effectiveness of EnIoT-SDA was evaluated through a comprehensive simulation analysis, comparing its performance against existing algorithms, including Support Vector Machine (SVM), Gradient Boosting Machines (GBM), and Fuzzy Logic Systems (FLS). Simulation metrics, such as accuracy, false positive rate, computational time, and detection latency, were used to assess and compare the algorithms' performance. The results demonstrated that EnIoT-SDA outperformed the existing methods in several key areas, offering improved accuracy and reduced detection latency, thus establishing its potential as a robust solution for building safety monitoring. They offer high-quality data propagation with limited delay. Sensor Network can be established with the help of self-configurable nodes to monitor various physical phenomenon. Multicasting in WSN results in low communication control overhead but may lead to congestion, which results in data loss, redundant transmissions, poor throughput and reduced network lifetime. In this paper, we propose a protocol to estimate the Degree of Congestion (CD) at each node to ensure load balance and avoid further congestion within the network.
