                <text>The objective of this paper is to explain how social media has impacted the consumer decision process as heavy use of social media has created a new landscape which lays out a new avenue for personal connections. The paper also explores how individuals are seeking information on social media and how they are processing and selecting the information before making the final purchase. The empirical data for the study has been gathered using a structured questionnaire. The descriptive statistics were performed for the select parameters of the survey instrument. The findings confirm that there is significant variance between age, income, occupation, and gender with online purchase intention of consumers. Also, the results confirm that social conversation is a significant predictor of online purchase intentions. The research findings suggest that consumers in India are actively utilising social media platforms as a key tool in validating their purchase decision. The research also explains various indicators that can be utilised by potential companies to analyse the decision-making process via social media sites.                 <text>Social media has become deeply integrated into everyday life, constantly connecting us to various platforms. While people were once believed to be shaped by those they spent time with physically, the content we consume and individuals we follow online now significantly influence our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Despite growing concerns about these effects, limited research has examined the relationship between social media usage patterns and psychological well-being among young adults. This study examined whether social media usage patterns affect patience, stress, and anxiety among young adults. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 124 participants aged 18-30 years. The survey collected demographic information and assessed social media usage patterns, with scores computed for patience, anxiety, and stress. Results indicated that stress levels were positively correlated with social media usage (r=0.33, p&amp;lt; 0.001), with Instagram emerging as the most widely used platform. A paired t-test revealed that participants significantly underestimated their actual screen time compared to their perceived screen time, t(123) = [insert your t-value], p=0.0002. Correlation analysis also indicated that screen time was positively associated with increased anxiety (r=0.22, p=0.014) and negatively associated with patience (r=-0.19, p=0.035). These findings highlight the importance of developing digital self-awareness, encouraging individuals to maintain control over their social media usage rather than letting these platforms dictate their levels of stress, patience, and anxiety.  2025 IEEE.</text>

The manuscript provides empirical insights into institutional bonds and synergies, circuits and networks that bind the people, especially the youth of today and shape their identity as well as ideologies. newlineThe Thesis organization divided into five major sections. Chapter one introduces the concept, origin, theoretical framework and other related essence of the topic. The second chapter presents a review of literature against the concepts addressed. It helps the students to communicate each other directly like face to face interaction. SNSs are having an ability to induce students decision making capability. Based on this, the study tries to emphasize the ability of the SNSs to induce the students academic performance using collaborative learning among various groups in which they belong. The result reveals that collaborative learning will have a major impact on academic performance, i.e. 49.6% of the respondents stated that they are using SNSs for academic purpose.                 <text>Adolescents face a variety of challenges, some of which include social, emotional, cognitive, and interpersonal. In order to help them with their emotions, adolescents should be taught a variety of skills to regulate and handle emotions better. With this intent in mind, a social-emotional learning (SEL) intervention module was developed by the researchers. This module covered aspects related to self-awareness, social awareness, responsibility, empathy and decision-making. These components also form the basis for emotional intelligence (EI) which is defined as the ability to perceive, understand, and regulate emotions of oneself and others. The present study aimed to understand if there arises any difference in scores of EI post the SEL intervention. Second, the gender differences with respect to EI were also be analyzed. The EI Scale (2014) was administered to 80 students between the age group of 13-14 years, from a CBSE school in Chennai. These adolescents were selected through the convenience sampling, and the four subscales were also analyzed. The findings from the study revealed a significant difference in scores from pretest to posttest (t = -4.66, P &amp;lt; 0.05). With respect to gender, no significant difference was found. On the subscales, two of four subscales showed significant difference in understanding emotions (Z = -4.63, P &amp;lt; 0.05) and handling emotions (Z = -4.023, P &amp;lt; 0.05).                 <text>This paper examines how Startup Singam, Tamil Nadus first startup reality show, helps develop local entrepreneurial ecosystems. The program provides a lively platform where new entrepreneurs can pitch their ideas to investors. They can gain essential financial support, useful mentoring, media exposure, and important business connections. The show has sparked significant investments in various sectors. Notable startups like YourTribe, Keeraikadai, Sacdeeil Flying Taxi, Kaigal, Graciss Napkins, TAMS, and Arola Bamboo have gained attention. Importantly, it has supported women entrepreneurs and inspired a cultural shift among Tamil Nadus youth. Many are moving from the safety of traditional jobs to embrace the risks of starting their own businesses. A unique part of the show is its ValueCorn initiative, which focuses on sustainable business growth rather than inflated valuations. . While early results show strong progress, this study emphasizes the need for ongoing research into the programs long-term economic effects, its potential for replication in other areas. The introduction of interactive multimedia tools, online platforms, and language learning applications has enabled educators to engage students newlinein more effective ways. Virtual classrooms have brought about a global connection, breaking geographical barriers and fostering cross-cultural communication. The use of adaptive learning systems and AI-driven newlinelanguage applications has personalised learning experiences, catering to individual needs and pace. Furthermore, technology has provided immersive experiences through virtual and augmented reality, which enhance language acquisition by providing real-life contexts for practice. Thus, technology has diversified teaching approaches and made English language learning more accessible, interactive, and tailored to the needs newlineof diverse learners. However, learners from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds are deprived of these advantages that could newlinehelp in improving their English language proficiency.                 <text>Rapid technology advancements resulted a fundamental shift in the education sector which redefined the teaching-learning process and teacher engagement. Based on numerous studies on work engagement models and technology readiness, this study explores, how the teachers' readiness to embrace educational technologies, impact on teacher engagement. With stratified cluster sampling model, data were collected from principals, managers, students and 122 teaching staff from the Higher Secondary Schools of Kerala participated in this quantitative study using standardized tools. The study affirmed that age has negative relation with technology readiness and teacher engagement shows an organic technology adoption trend than a disruptive style. Teachers were highly engaged with students-colleagues and varied across experience/age groups. Technology readiness factors positively impacted on social engagements with students-colleagues.                 <text>Three new series of photo responsive dimers bearing different terminal functional groups (-CN, -COOEt, -OMe) and variable aliphatic spacers have been synthesized and investigated in detail. The molecular structures of the new materials were proved using different spectroscopic techniques and their liquid crystal self-assembly was characterized using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), polarized light microscope (POM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Moreover, their photo switching behaviour was investigated in details in solution. The results revealed that, almost all members of the dimeric materials are mesomorphic exhibit either nematic or both smectic A and nematic phases. Under UV illumination the materials show interesting photo-switching properties, reaching a photo-stationary state in 40 s and a thermal back-relaxation time of approximately 35 h in solution. Finally, a fabricated device authenticates the potential of the reported materials for optical storage devices.  2023 Elsevier B.V.</text>

The study considers spot rates of seven major currencies (i.e., EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CAD, USD/CHF, and CHF/JPY). To capture the impact of the outbreak on returns and the volatility of returns of seven currencies during pandemic, the study has segregated in two window periods (i.e., pre- [1st Jan 2019 to 31st Dec, 2019] and post-outbreak of COVID-19 [1st Jan, 2020 to 22nd Dec, 2020]). The study has applied various methods and models (i.e., econometric-based compounded annual growth rate [CAGR], dummy variable regression, and generalized autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity [GARCH]). The result of the study captures the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on three currencies-USD/JPY, AUD/USD, and USD/CHF-and positive significant impact on EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/CAD, and CHF/JPY.                 <text>The study was conducted to uncover the emission, combustion, and performance features of the blend of Water Hyacinth biodiesel and Mesua Ferrea seed oil biodiesel with Hydrogen addition on a diesel engine in dual fuel. Pilot fuel is a blend of 50% Water Hyacinth biodiesel and 50% Mesua Ferrea seed oil biodiesel. A single-cylinder compression ignition engine was modified to operate on dual fuel mode with hydrogen. Variations of engine operating parameters such as injection timing, and engine load were performed. The study was conducted with three pilot fuel injection timings (23, 26, and 29bTDC) and variable engine loadings (20%100% with an increment of 20%) at an injection pressure of 200 bar and compression ratio of 18. The results indicated that the maximum brake thermal efficiency of 28.11% and a replacement of liquid fuel by 85% was obtained for the WHMF blend powered dual fuel diesel engine at pilot fuel injection timings of 26bTDC at 100% load. HC, CO, and smoke emissions are reduced with hydrogen due to faster combustion.                 <text>Entrepreneurship is crucial for the global economy, as it helps ideas develop from the drawing board to an executable stage. An excellent economic state of a country is the outcome of a well-designed system where the stakeholders interact with each other towards innovation and social development. This study is an empirical investigation into the COVID pandemic and its effects on the Indian entrepreneurial eco-system. Primary data was collected from 155 entrepreneurs of India, who were independent and first movers of entrepreneurs in their family during COVID times. Poor planning, exhausting resources, a slowdown in productivity, lower employment, and employee retention were the after-effects of the pandemic. It was found that the pandemic negatively affected the entrepreneurial ecosystem and its stakeholders. However, constant support by the government and well-designed policy measures would help assist existing businesses affected due to COVID-19 and encourage the entrepreneurial future in India.                 <text>The National Education Policy (NEP, 2020) in India emphasises faculty professional development in mentorship as a key strategy for strengthening higher education. This study examines the impact of a Professional Development Programme on Mentorship (PDP-M) in enhancing self-efficacy and outcome expectancy among 37 faculty members at Salesian College. The intervention consisted of a 15-hour module, comprising 6 h of structured core sessions and 9 h of supplementary activities, adapted from the TPDP-M framework. A quasi-experimental, single-group prepost design was employed with in-service faculty participants. Quantitative measures of self-efficacy and outcome expectancy were collected before and after the intervention. Statistical analysis revealed statistically significant improvements in the total mentorship score, self-efficacy, and outcome expectancy.
