VR-based rehabilitation creates interactive recovery programs which might advance physical healing together with mental drive. Objective: the research investigates how well VR-based rehabilitation works against traditional approaches for both physical healing and psychological involvement in adolescent athletes. Methodology: sixty adolescent athletes (aged 1318) received their rehabilitation through random assignment into two groups: one involved traditional approaches while the other received VR-based rehabilitation. The research measured recovery outcomes at three time points: baseline, 4 weeks and 8 weeks. The measured outcomes included range of motion (ROM), muscle strength, return to sport (RTS) time and pain perception. The VR group members shared their experiences through semi-structured interview methods. Results: the subjects in the VR group achieved greater improvements in ROM (p = 0.02) and muscle strength (p = 0.03) and RTS time (p = 0.01). People who used VR reported stronger motivation and engagement although these benefits brought increased worry about re-injuring their knee. Subject participants achieved better results in their rehabilitation by using immersive VR interventions. Conclusions: virtual reality-based rehabilitation enables adolescent athletes to restore physical well-being as well as emotional well-being. The interactive features of this approach improve patient commitment which accelerates their recovery time. O Box 1334, Durban, 4000, South Africa Description An account of the resource Excessive consumption of synthetic food colourants such as tartrazine (TZ) poses significant health risks, highlighting the need for sensitive detection methods for food safety applications. Here, we report a binder-free electrochemical sensor based on synergistic integration of iron-based metalorganic framework MIL-100(Fe) with multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) on glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The nanocomposite leverages MIL-100's high porosity and accessible Fe3? sites combined with MWCNT's superior conductivity, achieving an 11-fold enlarged electroactive surface area (0.786 cm2) and 19-fold enhanced exchange current density. Under optimized conditions using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), the sensor exhibited a low detection limit (LOD) of 0.11?M, a wide linear range (0.9 to 7.5?M, R2 = 0.9891), and excellent selectivity over amaranth (AM) and common interferents. Mechanistic studies revealed adsorption-controlled, one-electron/one-proton irreversible oxidation with ultralow charge transfer resistance (0.073 k?). The sensor demonstrated robust performance with excellent repeatability (RSD = 2.11%), reproducibility (RSD = 4.11%), and stability (> 98% retention, 14days). Real-sample analysis of fruit juices and sweets yielded satisfactory recoveries (85.63118.39%, RSD < 2.17%) without pre-treatment. Monte Carlo (MC) simulations substantiated the selectivity mechanism, revealing stronger TZ adsorption sites relative to AM on the MIL-100(Fe)/MWCNTs nanocomposite. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations yielded valuable insights into the electronic properties and solvation behaviour of the isolated TZ, the MIL-100(Fe) fragment, and their composite (MIL-100(Fe)/TZ) system in aqueous environments. Modelling with a disc emission, thermal Comptonization, and blurred reflection components revealed that the source was in the high-soft state with the disc flux ?87 per cent of the total and high-energy photon index ?2.6. There is an evidence that either the inner disc radius varied by ?25 per cent or the colour hardening factor changed by ?12 per cent. The values of the inner disc radius imply that for a non-spinning black hole, the black hole mass is < 7 M ? and the source is located > 30 kpc away. On the other hand, a rapidly spinning black hole would be consistent with the more plausible black hole mass of < 10 M ? and a source distance of ?10 kpc. Fixing the distance to 10 kpc and using a relativistic accretion disc model, constrained the black hole mass to 6 M? and inclination angle to 72. Title A name given to the resource Unveiling the Temporal Properties of MAXI J1820+070 through AstroSat Observations Description An account of the resource We present here the results of the first broadband simultaneous spectral and temporal studies of the newly detected black hole binary MAXI J1820+070 as seen by Soft X-ray Telescope and Large Area X-ray Proportional Counter (LAXPC) on board AstroSat. The observed combined spectra in the energy range 0.7-80 keV were well modeled using disk blackbody emission, thermal Comptonization, and a reflection component. The spectral analysis revealed that the source was in its hard spectral state (? = 1.61) with a cool disk (kT in = 0.22 keV). We report the energy dependent time-lag and root mean squared (rms) variability at different frequencies in the energy range 3-80 keV using LAXPC data. We also modeled the flux variability using a single-zone stochastic propagation model to quantify the observed energy dependence of time lag and fractional rms variability, and then compared the results with that of Cygnus X-1. Unlike many other BHXBs, the black hole mass, source distance, and binary orbital inclination are well established. In this work, we report the results of simultaneous broad-band spectral studies of LMC X-1 carried out using the data from Soft X-ray Telescope and Large Area X-ray Proportional Counter aboard AstroSat as observed on 2016 November 26 and 2017 August 28. The combined spectrum was modelled with a multicolour blackbody emission (diskbb), a Gaussian along with a Comptonization component (simpl) in the energy range 0.7-30.0 keV. The spectral analysis revealed that the source was in its high soft state (? = 2.67+0.24-0.24 and ? = 2.12+0.19-0.20) with a hot disc (kTin = 0.86+0.01-0.01 and kTin = 0.87+0.02-0.02). The study delves into the industry's current status as the world's second-largest cement producer and its impact on various sectors, including employment, GDP contribution, and dependence on real estate and infrastructure. The paper identifies key obstacles hindering the Indian concrete industry's full potential, such as a slowdown in real estate development, low industrial investment, regulatory changes, and constraints on resource extraction.
