Researchers have been working on finding a solution for this issue and thermally insulating the surface of the base metal component with a suitable high temperature material, generally a ceramic, is one solution. The Thermal Barrier Coatings, popular worldwide as TBCs have found wide spread applications in aerospace and automobile industry after its successful application in aerospace engines in mid 1970s. In the field of aerospace, generally a super alloy will be the substrate and in automobile field this process is very much suited on aluminium casting alloys, which is the raw material for high speed diesel engine cylinder blocks and pistons. Although a good quantity of research work on TBCs have been completed in the field of aerospace, the published literature on such coatings on Aluminium castings alloys are limited. Present research aims to throw some light in this grey area by plasma spray coating Aluminium-Silicon (Al-Si) substrates with popular Yttria Partially Stabilized Zirconia as top coat and underlying nickel aluminide bond coat. Al-Si alloys are widely used in automobiles. Experiments were conducted to evaluate the temperature drop across a 250 mm thick TBC at different ceramic surface temperatures and then validating the experimental results by simulation in ANSYS. Various research has presented window opening behavior models, stating that it may vary with region, climate, season, building type and many more environmental and non-environmental factors. Major studies in India relied on survey data and were not focused on continuous monitoring. Limited occupants behavior studies have been reported in warm and humid climatic zones, specifically in hostel buildings. Also, a realistic description of occupants window opening behavior is require for more accurate evaluation of building performance using energy simulation. Therefore, there is a need to study the window opening behavior to predict the indoor environment more accurately by using energy simulation tools. In this context, a one-year field research involving questionnaire survey, physical observation, and monitoring was conducted in different hostel buildings in Tiruchirappalli, India. Logistic models were developed to predict the window state in hostel buildings in warm and humid region based on physical observational and long-term monitoring data. It is found that window use is influenced by season, time of the day, weekdays, floor level, buildings orientation, user type, and gender. Results also showed that insects and animal menace (snakes, squirrels, lizards, mosquitoes etc.) impede window opening behavior. Detailed coating qualification tests were performed on the Al-11Si alloy substrates with the 8YPSZ TBCs on them which comprised of material assessments at room temperature and higher newlinetemperatures. The performance of an actual multi (four) cylinder diesel engine incorporated with TBC coated pistons also was evaluated and compared with the performance of the baseline engine (without any coated newlinecomponents). Thus, the concept of Low Heat Rejection (LHR) engine was also assessed in this research work. A high-gain broadband antenna or array may be the good choice for outdoor line-of-sight access points to increase signal strength and coverage range. To meet these requirements the antenna designers either can use conventional antennas or rely on miniaturized antennas. When antenna arrays are built using such small antennas to enhance the above said parameters, suitable and compact feed networks are required to ft within the given space of the overall transmitter-receiver geometry. So, in the present work, clay as a nano-filler is embedded and organically modified in some synthetic and natural polymers which are well established commercially to enhance their biodegradability. The impact of clay on the properties of synthetic polymers namely, poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) and natural polymer cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) was studied. Results from differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) showed a decrease in the glass transition temperature of organically modified polymer clay nanocomposites (PCC) than pure polymers. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) displayed a uniform surface with small-sized crystallites distributed on the polymer surface. X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectra revealed the formation of enhanced intercalated structures in PCC. Furthermore, FTIR studies showed that the interlayer bonding (SiO bands) of pure clay is deformed in PCCs. The tensile strength of PCC increased with an increase in organo-clay loading. This unique mechanical behavior is due to the agglomeration of organo-clay particles. Finally, the biodegradation studies revealed enhanced hydrolytic degradation in PCC than pure polymers. Hence, these PCCs are environmentally friendlier than their pure synthetic polymers without significant compromise in their properties, which makes it suitable for packaging industries. The aim is to analyse existing datasets to know the impact of independent variables on dependent variable. Method: The study uses multiple linear regression to evaluate the effects of independent variables indicators of women's empowerment on the dependent variable, CO2 emissions, using secondary data from the World Bank covering the years 1990 to 2022. The Breusch-Pagan and Breusch-Godfrey LM tests are used to look at heteroskedasticity and autocorrelation, respectively, and VIF is used to find multicollinearity. Results and Conclusion: The study concludes that there is a statistically significant relationship between lower CO2 emissions and increases in the percentage of female seats in the national parliament (-3.73) and higher female labour force participation (-6.04). The gender parity index (GPI) in tertiary education, which is -0.2997, does not, however, appear to have a statistically significant impact on CO2 emissions. Implications: This research can serve as a cause for redesigning gender-responsive environmental initiatives and promoting a more sustainable and equitable future. This study compares and contrasts demographic factors(DF) that influence behavioral biases(BB), examines the relationship between behavioral biases(BB) and risk-taking newlinebehaviors (RTB), determines whether BBs can be used to predict RTB and IDs, and looks at covariance patterns between factors that influence BBs, RTB, and IDs.A comprehensive analysis was conducted, considering various DF such as age, gender, education, annual income, marital status, total annual savings newlinepercentage, and the number of dependents in the family. The findings revealed no statistically significant interaction effects between these demographic variables and the combined dependent variables. Additionally, no significant main effects of age, gender, annual income, education, marital status, or paying tax were observed on the combined dependent variables. The study identified several correlations among the behavioral biases examined, including overconfidence(OC), representativeness(R), anchoring(A), herding(H), mental accounting(MA), and conservatism bias(CB). Positive correlations were found between OC and R, A and OC, A and R, H and OC, H newlineand R, MA and OC, MA and R, CB and OC, CB and R, CB and A, CB and H, CB and MA, risk-taking behaviors and overconfidence, risk-taking behaviors and representativeness, risk-taking behaviors and anchoring, risk-taking newlinebehaviors and herding, risk-taking behaviors and mental accounting, and risktaking behaviors and conservatism bias. Furthermore, herding and conservatism bias was significantly associated with risk-taking behaviors, while anchoring, herding, mental accounting, and conservatism bias were associated considerably with IDs. Specifically, the research examines how financial attitude, risk tolerance, and academic background contribute to students' intent to invest, alongside demographic factors such as gender, family income, and family structure. A structured questionnaire was administered to 454 university students, and data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, chi-square tests, and multiple linear regression. Findings indicate that financial attitude and risk appetite significantly influence investment intention, with financial attitude showing the strongest negative effect. While the course of study did not significantly predict general investment intention, it showed a meaningful association with preference for equity investments. Gender differences were statistically significant, with male students more likely to invest both generally and in equities. In contrast, no significant differences were found for family income or family structure. The regression model explained 40.7% of the variance in investment intention, reinforcing TPBs attitudinal and control constructs. The study highlights the importance of integrating behavioral finance elements into education and encourages a shift beyond theoretical literacy toward experiential learning. Although variables such as social influence, financial self-efficacy, and digital platform awareness were not included in this study, their relevance is acknowledged for future research. These insights have practical implications for financial education policies under the NEP 2020 and for designing student-targeted financial awareness programs. 2025, Iquz Galaxy Publisher.
