<text>Financial mindfulness is an emerging concept in personal finance that promotes a transformative mindset to encourage rational decision-making and mitigate emotional biases. This study explores the evolution of research on financial mindfulness through a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis of 58 relevant articles. The bibliometric analysis reveals the developmental trajectory of this literature, identifying notable authors, journals, countries involved, and international collaborations. Financial mindfulness originated from integrating finance with mindfulness principles, building on earlier concepts like money attitudes and behavioural finance. The study highlights the interdisciplinary nature of financial mindfulness, with significant contributions from finance, economics, and psychology. This research is novel in that it is the first attempt to systematically analyse the literature on financial mindfulness in this comprehensive manner. It establishes a foundational understanding for future researchers in the field, mapping out the existing landscape and highlighting the interdisciplinary collaboration that characterizes this area of study. By charting the developmental path and identifying key contributors and trends, this research sets the stage for continued exploration and a deeper understanding of financial mindfulness. Ultimately, it encourages further interdisciplinary research and practical applications in personal finance management, ensuring that future studies build on a robust framework of existing knowledge. This research not only explores past developments but also provides a clear direction for future inquiries and innovations in the field. 2024, Iquz Galaxy Publisher. All rights reserved.</text>

<text>Purpose: This research addresses the pressing need for comprehensive studies in the rapidly evolving field of city tourism. This study aims to understand the overall performance of the International Journal of Tourism Cities (IJTC), the structure of knowledge in city tourism research and the prevalent themes and trends arising from IJTC. Design/methodology/approach: A bibliometric analysis was conducted to scrutinize the publication patterns in IJTC. This involved examining parameters such as the annual count of published articles, the keywords used in them and their respective authors. Findings: The findings reveal that IJTC has a growing and diverse publication output, establishing itself as a reputable and influential publication within urban tourism research. The results reflect various aspects and themes in city tourism research. Research limitations/implications: The study has certain limitations. The data used for analysis was obtained exclusively from the Scopus database. The analysis was conducted using only one software package, Bibliometrix. Other software packages may offer different features for bibliometric analysis. The study relied exclusively on quantitative methods for data analysis. Qualitative methods could have provided more nuanced interpretations of the data. Practical implications: Comparative analyses could be conducted between IJTC and other journals within urban tourism or related disciplines. Such research would yield valuable insights into the current state of the field and aid in identifying areas warranting further investigation. Social implications: The findings from this study can inform the decisions and actions of various stakeholders involved in urban tourism. Practitioners and policymakers can draw from this research to make informed decisions. Existing and emerging authors can identify relevant topics for their research. Readers can access pertinent information for their needs. Originality/value: This study offers a unique contribution by thoroughly comprehending the performance of IJTC between 2015 and 2023. It progresses the existing body of knowledge on city tourism research by examining its current status and future trends. 2023, International Tourism Studies Association.</text>

<text>School bullying has been identified as a major issue among students throughout the world. With around 260 million school students, the largest student population in the world, it becomes essential to investigate this issue in the Indian context. The present work uses the Arksey and O'Malley (2005) framework for scoping review to examine the nature of research on school bullying in India and identify research gaps to be addressed by future research. The review maps the concepts examined, research approaches used, sample characteristics, data collection methods, researcher characteristics, and nature of publications in relation to bullying. Seven databases - JSTOR, PsycNET, Cochrane Reviews, ERIC, MEDLINE, Web of Science, and Cochrane Central Register for Controlled Trials - were searched for sources containing the terms bullying and India published in English and between the years 2015 and 2022. Thirty-eight sources selected for the review suggest that existing research in India on school bullying is limited compared to the West and yet provides a guiding light to future researchers. The findings from this review highlight research gaps in the existing literature and outline areas for further exploration. 2024 Elsevier Ltd</text>

<text>The daily soaps that we view every day in our living room reflect how our society works and functions, for few people their day starts and ends with these television shows. What happens in our favorite television serials, also tend to influence the lives we lead, like the way they dress up, the manner in which they socialize; tend to have a huge impact on our behavior and actions. Hindi daily soaps during the late 1990s and early 2000s served the Indian audiences with more of human relationships such as saas bahu dilemmas, parent child understanding that predominantly focused more on family values and ethics, in other words it preached to the Indian viewers how an ideal family is ought to be, showcasing a perfect family setting. In the present context there has been a gradual shift in terms of themes, character portrayal, trends, visualization and effects along with messages that these shows want to convey, such as gay marriages, extra-marital affairs, domestic violence are now becoming the central themes of much popular Hindi daily soaps .This study would map the shift in Hindi daily soaps during the early 2000s to the present day on the basis of- themes, character portrayal, trends, visualizations and effects and the messages that each of these shows convey.</text>

<text>The current investigation reports the impact of amalgamations of carbon nanotubes and aluminum oxide in boosting the thermochemical properties of water as the base fluid. It is assumed that the viscosity of the base fluid varies with temperature exponentially and temperature varies linearly. The governing equations prevalent in the current problem accompanied by boundary conditions are transformed into a highly nonlinear system of ODEs by means of similarity trans-formations. The numerical result for the obtained mathematical model was acquired by using the bvp4c inbuilt function in MATLAB. The domain effects were analyzed through sketched graphs. It is further observed that the Nusselt number decreases with the rising value of the variable viscosity and the thermal conductivity parameters. 2021 Begell House, Inc. www.begellhouse.com.</text>

<text>Present work aims to investigate the features of the exponential space dependent heat source (ESHS) and cross-diffusion effects in Marangoni convective heat mass transfer flow due to an infinite disk. Flow analysis is comprised with magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). The effects of Joule heating, viscous dissipation and solar radiation are also utilized. The thermal and solute field on the disk surface varies in a quadratic manner. The ordinary differential equations have been obtained by utilizing Von Km transformations. The resulting problem under consideration is solved numerically via Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg based shooting scheme. The effects of involved pertinent flow parameters are explored by graphical illustrations. Results point out that the ESHS effect dominates thermal dependent heat source effect on thermal boundary layer growth. The concentration and temperature distributions and their associated layer thicknesses are enhanced by Marangoni effect. 2018</text>

<text>The flow of liquids submerged with nanoparticles is of significance to industrial applications, specifically in nuclear reactors and the cooling of nuclear systems to improve energy efficiency. The application of nanofluids in water-cooled nuclear systems can result in a significant improvement of their economic performance and/or safety margins. Therefore, in this paper, Marangoni thermal convective boundary layer dusty nanoliquid flow across a flat surface in the presence of solar radiation is studied. A two phase dusty liquid model is considered. Unlike classical temperature-dependent heat source effects, an exponential space-dependent heat source aspect is considered. Stretching variables are utilized to transform the prevailing partial differential system into a nonlinear ordinary differential system, which is then solved numerically via the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg approach coupled with a shooting technique. The roles of physical parameters are focused in momentum and heat transport distributions. Graphical illustrations are also used to consider local and average Nusselt numbers. We examined the results under both linear and quadratic variation of the surface temperature. Our simulations established that the impact of Marangoni flow is useful for an enhancement of the heat transfer rate. 2017</text>

<text>Present study addresses the Marangoni transport of dissipating SWCNT and MWCNT nanofluids under the influence of magnetic force and radiation. A novel exponential space dependent heat source is considered. The flow is generated due to a disk with surface tension created by thermal gradient. The partial differential equations system governing the flow of carbon-water nanoliquids and heat transfer through Marangoni convection is established. Subsequent system is reduced to nonlinear ordinary boundary value problem via generalized Karman transformations. Numerical solutions are developed of the arising nonlinear problem via Runge-Kutta based shooting approach. Impacts of embedded parameters are focused on Nusselt number, velocity and heat transport distributions through graphical illustrations. Our simulations figured out that the heat transfer rate increased via Marangoni convection; however it is decayed by applied magnetic force. The temperature of SWCNT-H2O nanoliquid dominates MWCNT-H2O nanoliquid. 2017 Elsevier B.V.</text>

<text>Jeopardized glucose hemostasis leads to cronic metaboic disorder like Diabetes mellitus and it is predicted to occur in ?700 million people in the coming 20 years. Our study aims to isolate Palmitic acid (C16H32O3), 9-Hydroxyhexadecanoic acid metabolite from Sargassum wightii to inhibit alpha-amylase and alpha-glucosidase to reduce postprandial hyperglycemia and decline the risk of diabetes. High docking score of palmitic acid with both ?-amylase and ?-glucosidase is observed in in-silico molecular docking analysis, in comparison to commercially available drug acarbose. The three hydrogen bond in palmitic acid interacts with the important amino acids like Arg195, Lys200 and Asp300 in Glide XP docking mode for alpha-amylase. For ?-glucosidase, quantum-polarized ligand docking (QPLD) was used with similar three hydrogen bond interactions. Both docking studies showed significant binding interaction of palmitic acid with ?-amylase (?5.66 and ?5.14 (Kcal/mol)) and with ?-glucosidase (?4.52 and ?3.51(Kcal/mol)) with respect to the standard, acarbose docking score. The bioactive palmitic acid isolated from the brown alga, Sargassum wightii is already seen to inhibit digestive enzyme with non-target property in Artemia nauplii and zebra fish embryos. Further studies are required to investigate its role in in vivo antidiabetic effects due to its non-toxic and digestive enzyme inhibitory properties. It can be recommended in additional pharmaceutical studies to develop novel therapeutics to manage diabetes mellitus. 2023 SAAB</text>

<text>Marine organisms are a definitive source of antibiotics and kinase inhibitors which provide cues for discovering novel drug leads. Marine macrolides are getting much attraction due to their enzyme inhibitory potential. The present study comprehensively dealt with the virtual screening and structure-based prediction of macrolide compounds against FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 receptors (FLT3). The FLT3 was chosen as a biological target against the 990 marine macrolides. Before the virtual screening of macrolide compounds, validation of molecular docking was carried out by re-docking of co-crystallized Gilteritinib within the FLT3. Among the selected 990 candidates of marine macrolides, 311 were failed due to the generation of insufficient conformers. Amongst the successful compounds, 22 compounds were also failed to dock within the receptor, while the remaining 657 marine macrolide entities elicited successful docking. The HYBRID Chemguass4 Score ranged from -10.17 to -0.02. This vast difference in the HYBRID ChemGuass4 score is attributed to the difference in binding potential with the receptor's binding pocket. The top ten compounds were selected based on the HYBRID ChemGuass4 Score lower than -8.0 against FLT3. The pharmacokinetics and ADME properties revealed the drug likeliness of the macrolides. 2022 SAAB</text>

<text>Marine environment has been an important surrounding in recent times for valuable resources such as bioactive polymers. Increasing environmental concerns and realizing the limitation of global petroleum resources, biopolymers has gained utmost importance. Highly abundant renewable biopolymers of different polysaccharides have been produced from microbes, clams, shrimps, etc., exhibiting varying biological activities. Among all these biopolymers, microbial biopolymers are the most promising substitute for the existing synthetic polymers. Microbial polymers are synthesized intracellularly and extracellularly for their cell functions and survival playing specific roles as reserve materials for energy conservation, symbiosis and osmotic adaptation, protective agents that can be extruded and used for various applications. These biopolymers have exceptional moisture and oxygen barrier characteristics in making films for use in food industries and medical aspects. Microbial biopolymers that have been used include the cellulose, levan, pullulans, xanthan, gellan, kefiran, Haloferax exopolysaccharides, Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs), and poly-3-hydroxybutyrates. Marine bacteria such as Bacillus, Halomonas, Alteromonas, Planococcus, Pseudoalteromonas, Vibrio, Zoogloea, and Thermococcus are found to be hyperproducers for biopolymers. Due to their high quality, sustainability, long shelf life, and biodegradability, they have been receiving interest for innumerable biological activities such as antioxidants, antidiabetic, antiinflammatory, and antimicrobial actions. Microbial marine biopolymers with natural biological activity, structural functions can be tailored using genetic engineering to obtain newer biomaterials with novel functionalities. 2025 Elsevier Ltd. <text>There has been a shift from the previously dominant polyandrous marital arrangements to monogamous arrangements, upon exile, among the Tibetan refugees in India. This article attempts to examine the autonomy of Tibetan women in exile across polyandrous and monogamous marital arrangements through the lens of modernisation and feminist theoretical frameworks. A thematic narrative analysis of 30 Tibetan participants in both marital arrangements has helped in comparing womens autonomy in the domains of inheritance and division of property, household decision-making and with respect to childrens education and occupation. Even though modernising forces partially explain the shift from polyandry to monogamy, the narratives of women belonging to both the monogamous and polyandrous families lend support to the feminist framework suggesting the role of internalisation of social norms and self-abnegation as negatively affecting their autonomy. 2025 CWDS.</text>

<text>Marital flourishing, a multidimensional construct rooted in positive psychology, represents the optimal functioning of a marital relationship, marked by emotional intimacy, mutual support, resilience, and shared purpose. Despite increasing scholarly interest in relationship satisfaction and stability, the specific determinants of marital flourishing, particularly through the lens of attachment theory, remain insufficiently explored. This review synthesises findings from four peer-reviewed studies published between 2015 and 2024 to examine the theoretical and empirical connections between adult romantic attachment and the dimensions of flourishing marriages. The review follows a systematic narrative method. Drawing from the foundational work of Bowlby and the clinical framework developed by Sue Johnson in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), the paper proposes the Secure Attachment-Based Marital Flourishing Model (SAB-MFM). This conceptual framework highlights secure bonding as the core mechanism for relational thriving. This review highlights key takeaways for therapy, relationship education, and future research, offering practical insights for improving couple interventions and guiding new directions in the science of intimate relationships. <text>Marital stress and domestic violence is prevalent in every society around the world. It has become a major concern during the Covid-19 pandemic. Governments have resorted to lockdown measures in order to contain the pandemic. The pandemic has made the weaker and more vulnerable people in a household more exposed to abusive partners. Social isolation and home confinement have detrimental effects on ones mental and physical well-being. Women have been shown to be at a very high risk from violence during The Covid19 pandemic. The research paper aims to understand the factors which compel women to stay in abusive and stressful marriages and the ways in which they can be empowered to lead their life with dignity and self-respect. The cultural contexts of most societies force women to stay in abusive marriages as the woman is often portrayed as the symbol of unity in families. Understanding the cultural bindings of women trapped in abusive households during the COVID-19 pandemic is a very crucial aspect as this can help in understanding the fear and apprehensions of women trapped in destructive marriages. This can be a key factor which can make it easier for support groups while providing counselling and other kinds of support to women trapped in abusive marriages. The paper also discusses the impact of abusive relationships on children and how it negatively shapes their personality and their emotional well- being. 2021 The Author(s). <text>Purpose This paper aims to explore how maritime geopolitical tensions, especially between China and India, exist in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) and impact the mental health and social inclusion of coastal communities. While most strategic analyses focus on military and economic factors, this research incorporates human security perspectives. Design/methodology/approach Using an interdisciplinary framework that combines developmental psychology, strategic studies and geopolitical field analysis, this conceptual study highlights understudied mental health risks through qualitative case studies and secondary data from the IOR. Findings The results indicate that in regions of militarized maritime development, anxiety, chronic stress, identity displacement and communal fragmentation are becoming more common. Stressors include foreign intervention and strategic uncertainty. A disproportionate number of women, children and displaced workers are impacted. Originality/value This study, to the best of the authors knowledge, is one of the first to link psychological health at the grassroots level with maritime security strategy, urges policymakers to incorporate human-centered approaches into regional and national security planning. This study argues that growing strategic anxiety necessitates an integrated approach to national security, one that considers mental health and human security, particularly in regions such as Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Lakshadweep and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. 2025 Emerald Publishing Limited</text>

<text>This study analyses the difference in stock market reactions to dividend announcement during the pandemic. The thirty constituent stocks of Sensex, the index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), is used for analysis. This allows cross-industry comparison of the market reaction. The study examines stock market reactions covering 44 days around the dividend announcement dates. The primary objective of this study is to understand whether the price adjustment linked to the dividend announcement news during the pandemic was different from the earlier years. This empirical study employs the conventional event study methodology using abnormal returns (ARs) to examine the stock market reaction to dividend announcement. The market reaction to dividend announcement was increasingly positive during the pandemic, compared to previous years. The statistical pooled t-tests showed there was a significant relationship between the pandemic and ARs. The findings also indicate that the difference in the market reaction to dividend announcement was more prominent in services stocks than that in manufacturing. Further, the results also verify the weak-form of efficiency of Indian stock exchange. 2021 Management Development Institute.</text>
