<text>One of the major causes of the intermittent nature of long-term climate changes is the interaction between the surface energy balance and the mass balance of the Cryosphere. In this paper, the pre-existing surface energy balance-mass balance model of the Cryosphere is modified by incorporating the radiative forcing of CO2 to observe the effect of global warming on the nature of the previous model. The modified model is generalized using Caputo's non-local operator. The stability of the new model is analyzed at all the equilibrium points and also it is shown that there exists a unique and bounded solution for the modified system. Using bifurcation analysis and calculating the values of Lyapunov exponents for different fractional orders of the modified system, it is found that the system exhibits chaos for certain values of the radiating forcing of CO2 To observe and visualize the changes in the nature of the new model, the system is solved using the highly efficient 7th-order RungeKutta method. It is observed that with the inclusion of the radiative forcing of CO2, the nature of the system changes from asymptotically stable to chaotic as we decrease the order of the system. The Poincare map shows that the modified model even has characteristics of a strange attractor which is highly chaotic. The system becomes unstable when the value of the radiative forcing of CO2 is increased. As a result, the predictive power of the surface energy balance-mass balance model of the Cryosphere decreases. In addition to providing insights into the transition from stability to chaos in the Cryosphere model due to CO2 radiative forcing, this research offers a deeper understanding of the intricate interplay between climate dynamics and complex systems behavior. 2023 The Authors</text>

<text>Chatbots are text-based conversational agents that use Natural Language Processing to converse with customers. Chatbot has revolutionized the service industry by providing a customer-centric environment and a cost-effective business pattern to service providers. This technology is still maturing and has already influenced a lot of businesses due to its effective human-like interaction in different sectors. The banking industry too has adopted this very well. However, the acceptance level of this service is relatively slow among banking customers when compared to other sectors. This study focuses on the role of customer satisfaction factors that influence the use continuance of Chatbot services in the banking sector. A quantitative research design, using a purposive sampling method with a sample size of 422 respondents was considered. The data was analysed using SPSS and JMP. The results gave some new perspectives that will help the service providers to identify the antecedents that influence the use continuance of Chatbot service. IJCESEN.</text>

<text>Industries demand a vast usage of superalloys in heat resistant and high temperature applications. These include nozzle of rocket fuel engines, throttle valve of turbojet engines, turbine blade discs of aerospace industries, rivets and fittings of chemical and production industries, biomedical applications in super strength resistive steels. These superalloys such as Inconel 718 finds its vast applications in all such industries. To machine such materials a lot of wear and tear occurs at the cutting tool. Hence, cutting fluid helps in reduction of tool wear and improving surface roughness. In this paper, two cutting fluids Koolkut 40 and Hicut 590 have been used in emulsified form during the machining of Inconel 718 with Ceramic cutting tool. Hicut 590 has been seen a better heat resistive cutting fluid in reducing the tool wear and thus improving the life of the tool. 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. <text>Optimizing utilization of nutrients and improving protein digestibility, particularly in the early stages of cultivable species, is a challenging task for the sustainable development of aquaculture. The use of protein-digesting enzymes as a feed supplement is an eco-friendly approach to improve protein digestibility. Exogenous enzymes, particularly proteases, have been shown to improve fish growth, nutrient digestibility, immunological parameters, intestinal topography, and most importantly, water quality. Although there is a clear understanding of the role of proteases and their mechanism of action, their role as a feed supplement in aquaculture remains controversial. In this review, we present updated information on the impact of proteases in improving various development indicators and fish health in general. Based on the information gathered from the current state of knowledge, it is clear that extensive research has to be made to broaden the application of proteases overcoming the drawbacks that could hinder its application in the field. <text>Hopelessness is a product of negative future expectations, negative feelings toward the future, and feeling a lack of control over future improvements. College students are seen to experience hopelessness. This study aimed to reduce levels of hopelessness in college students through an intervention that involved listening to songs having hopeful lyrics. The sample consisted of college students (N = 66), who were randomly assigned to three groups, namely the lyrics-music group, music-only group, and the control group (no intervention). The Becks Hopelessness Scale was used to measure their levels of hopelessness before the intervention and at the end of four weeks. The lyrics-music group and the music group participants were exposed to songs and instrumental tracks, respectively, twice a week, for four weeks. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test for related samples was used to analyze the effect of the intervention on levels of hopelessness. The KruskalWallis test was used to analyze the differences across the three groups. Results indicated that the lyrics-music group had a significant decrease in levels of hopelessness after the intervention. However, the music group and the control group showed no significant decrease. There was a significant difference between the three groups with regard to the difference score obtained from pre to post intervention. Thus, the evidence suggests that hopeful lyrics do have an effect on hopelessness and can be seen as differing from the functions of music alone. 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.</text>

<text>Today the elderly in India is faced with a changing life situation where the traditional joint family system, according to which the elders were recognized and respected have given way to nuclear families where the elderly try to fit in. The number of old age homes in India is on increase especially in the state of Kerala. The existing literature shows that the elderly in old age homes in India undergo the problems like, relational issues, poverty, health issues, rejection from children, death of the partner, death anxiety etc, which lead to meaninglessness and poor quality of life. The current research is aimed at studying the effectiveness of a logotherapy intervention called Meaning in Life Programme on the meaning and quality of life of the elderly in old age homes. For the purpose of the study three old age homes with similar administration were selected from the districts of Kottayam, Kannur and Ernakulam district of Kerala where the highest number of old age homes of India are situated. 60 of them who met the inclusion criteria were randomely put into two groups, namely control group and experimental group. At par with the existing literature the study proves that the elderly in old age homes have a low meaning and quality of life. The average mean score of meaning in the pre-test was 14.23 in MiLS and the average mean score of quality of life in the pre-test is 51.83 in WHOQOL. The experimental group was given an intensive Logotherapy- meaning in life programme for five days and the control group had normal life. After a period of one month both groups were tested with MiLS and WHOQOL and there was significant difference between the control group and the experimental group. The Experimental group scored 22.06 in MiLS at the significant level of p < .001 and 59.73 in WHOQOL at the significant level of p < .001. The study revealed that logotherapy is effective in enhancing meaning and quality of life of the elderly in old age homes.

<text>Hopelessness is a product of negative future expectations, negative feelings toward the future and feeling a lack of control over future improvements. One of the major factors that play a role in hopelessness are Negative Life Events (NLE) along with the interaction of negative inferential styles. College students are seen to experience both NLE and engage in negative inferential styles which is seen in their portrayal of hopelessness. The aim of the study was to reduce levels of hopelessness in college students through an intervention that involved listening to songs having hopeful lyrics. The study strived to answer the following question: Can hopeful lyrics in songs can have an effect on hopelessness? The sample consisted of college students (N=66), who were randomly assigned to three groups, namely the lyrical music group (hopeful lyrics and music), music group (only music) and the control group (no intervention). The Beck???s hopelessness scale was used to measure their levels of hopelessness before the intervention and at the end of 4 weeks. The lyrical music group and the music group participants were exposed to songs and instrumental tracks twice a week, for a duration of 4 weeks. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank test for related samples was used to analyse the effect of the intervention or lack of, on levels of hopelessness. The Kruskal-Wallis was used to analyse the difference score between the three groups. Results indicated that the lyrical music group (p = .001) had a significant difference in levels of hopelessness after the intervention, however the music group (p = .072) and the control group (p = .402) showed no significant difference. There was a significant difference between the three groups with regard to the difference obtained from their pre-test and post-test scores (p = .03). Pairwise comparisons have helped to see where that difference lies. Thus it can be concluded that hopeful lyrical music does have an effect on hopelessness and can be seen as differing from the functions of music alone.

<text>In this paper, a brief study on the effect of non-thermal plasma generated with argon carrier on material properties and photo-catalytic reduction behavior of TiO2 is presented. Commercially available TiO2 nanoparticles (20 nm size) were subjected to Ar cold plasma at different time durations. Then the plasma treated materials were explored for chemical reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2) into methane (CH4) using sunlight as photo-irradiation source. The results show that the non-thermal plasma affects the material properties of TiO2 such as UV-visible absorption, XRD patterns and Raman scattering significantly and also the enhancement of CH4 yields in CO2photo-chemical reduction. 2020 American Institute of Physics Inc.. <text>The purpose of human resources is to ensure that the appropriate people are hired for open positions at appropriate times, that the system receive the necessary training, and that their performance is monitored and their perspective skills are secure through the use of evaluation methods. Despite the importance of this data to decision-makers, it can be difficult to glean useful insights from large datasets. Data mining has made it possible for human resources experts to automate the hitherto tedious task of manually processing enormous data sets. Finding almost perfect outcomes is the main goal of data mining, which is to discover hidden knowledge in data patterns and trends. The proposed method goes as follows: preprocessing is done by data cleaning and data normalization, feature selection using correlation and information theoretic ranking criteria. The last step in training and evaluating the model is using AE-SVM, which stands for Auto Encoder Support Vector Machine. The suggested model is more effective and performs better than two existing models: Support Vector Machine and AE-CNN. The suggested approach attains an accuracy rate of 94%. 2024 IEEE.</text>

<text>Progress on the fourth United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG4), which strives to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education, can only be made with teachers whose levels of job satisfaction and dedication to teaching are high. The authors of this article conducted a survey among ad hoc teachers (also referred to as para teachers) in rural India. The purpose of their study was to find out the extent to which being led by principals who practised a management style termed servant leadership positively impacted respondents affective commitment and psychological well-being. A servant leader seeks to serve by developing the followers selfhood in various relational, ethical, emotional and spiritual contexts. This has the effect of encouraging the followers to become the best version of themselves. Data collection involved the completion of a questionnaire by a sample of 1,120 (840 female, 280 male) para teachers from 17 non-formal community learning centres and 10 schools in the Indian state of Jharkhand. The results of the survey revealed that there is an indirect effect of servant leadership on affective commitment and psychological well-being through a set of three elements, hope, efficacy and resilience, which together amount to a para teachers personal resource of psychological capital. Relying on the findings of their research, the authors suggest that it will be beneficial for Jharkhands Department of Education to implement interventional teacher training programmes which nurture servant leadership among school principals and educational officers and thereby foster psychological capital among para teachers. 2020, UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning and Springer Nature B.V.</text>

<text>Studies of mindfulness are consistent in their finding indicating that mindfulness can serve as a therapy model to deal with many psychological and physical problems, and improve wellbeing. Further, mindfulness is also found to enhance the moment to moment experience of individuals with better clarity of phenomenon. Interestingly, most of these studies have been conducted among seasoned practitioners or as long-format courses. Although long-format can be an ideal practice, it often proves to be expensive for many. Also, some people may not be able to practice in long-format due to several reasons. Thereby, it is imperative to investigate the benefits of short-format mindfulness exploring its utility and scalability. This experimental study examined the effect of short format mindfulness especially on affect and cognitive function. Participants (N=72; F=40, M=32) were randomly divided into an experimental group (N=35; M=15, F=20) and an active control group (N=37; M=17, F=20). The average age of participants in the experimental group and the active control group was 21.79 and 21.59 respectively. The experimental group practiced body-scan mindfulness, one session per day for six days, each session lasting for 25 minutes. Participants in the active control group spent an equal amount of time while reading fiction of their choice and listening to soothing music. Variables that were considered include positive and negative affects, and five cognitive functions namely psychomotor function, attention, learning, working memory-simple, and social-emotional cognition. Results showed an increase in positive affect and a decrease in negative affect, and an increase in performance in all five cognitive functions in the experimental group with an effect size ranging from mild to moderate, in comparison to active control. The study concluded that short format mindfulness practice, although may not be ideal, might be an alternative for individuals who due to various reasons cannot practice long format courses.</text>

<text>The corporate sector is emerging as a significant stakeholder in this transformative journey asnations throughout the world work to align their policies and practices with the SDGs. Theincorporation of SDGs into financial planning has made tremendous headway in India, acountry with a rapidly expanding economy and a diverse corporate landscape. The 50companies that made up the Nifty 50 at the end of 2023 are examined in this study. Twosources provided the financial data on these companies: the Bloomberg platform andSecurities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reports. Only thirty of the NIFTY 50 companieswere putting the SDGs into practise on the previously indicated date. There are fourconfigurations in the successful FP model that describe how the SDGs and FP relate to oneanother. The lack of SDGs, when combined with other variables, explains a high ROE in twoof these four configurations. The examination of the data concludes that businesses who havetraditionally attained higher FP (i.e., higher ROE) have not included SDGs into their strategy.Furthermore, the inclusion of SDGs in strategies results in a lower return on equity (ROE).The paper however takes into consideration only size and risk as the main variables tocalculate the ROE. We recommend the future researchers to consider the other financialvariables while doing the analysis to get a more insightful analysis on the effect of SDGs. Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.</text>

The enhanced chi-square goodness of fit for the COVID-19 pandemic scenario is developed, and the proposed method is used to assess the increased testing rates in India and significant improvement in the COVID-19 medical sector. India has a population of approximately 1.39 billion people and is extremely densely inhabited in contrast to other countries. The current male population of 51.6 percent and the male population of 48.4 percent in areas with an overall low economic status have all posed significant challenges to India's first campaign against the COVID-19 hotspot.</text>

<text>Video gaming is a popular leisure activity enjoyed by millions globally, helping with socialisation, interaction, and relieving stress. It may also become a maladaptive coping mechanism to evade distress and negative emotions, leading to problematic usage. Research evidence shows that problematic gaming is associated with different psychosocial issues. Video games can be a way of negative coping and escaping reality, and problematic usage can hide other problems of players in real life. Adolescents are vulnerable to problematic use due to their developmental stages, and those with specific vulnerabilities and disabilities are at greater risk. No one psychotherapy has all the answers, and the multi-component intervention technique might have better treatment utility than a solitary behaviour intervention. The research aims to show the effectiveness of the intervention for problematic video game usage in a community-based setting. The study focuses on adolescents in seventh through ninth grade who were identified as problematic video gamers (not addictive users) from a selected group of schools in Kerala. The study employed an experimental design, encompassing both intervention and control groups, to systematically assess the effects of the experimental manipulation and establish a baseline measurement. The paired t-test results showed no significant decrease in the intervention groups Gaming Addiction Scale at the post-test, but it did lower the addiction scores. By conducting the research, we provide psychological care for adolescents and help them identify and prevent problematic gaming experiences. The research underscores the significance of early identification and prevention of problematic video game usage among adolescents, advocating for a holistic approach incorporating diverse components. 2024 selection and editorial matter, Dr. Sundeep Katevarapu, Dr. Anand Pratap Singh, Dr. Priyanka Tiwari, Ms. Akriti Varshney, Ms. Priya Lanka, Ms. Aankur Pradhan, Dr. Neeraj Panwar, Dr. Kumud Sapru Wangnue; individual chapters, the contributors.</text>
