A CONCEPTUAL MODEL FOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT: A KEY DRIVER FOR INCLUSIVE GROWTH AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Purpose: This chapter explores the two major schemes applicable to skill development in India: Skill Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP) and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). Need for the Study: The primary objective of this research is to check the role of these schemes in enhancing the skills of socio-economically stressed community members for their livelihoods. The secondary aim is to analyse the outcomes of these schemes through a qualitative inquiry. Methodology: A survey was conducted, and the data was collected from trainees of the skill development programmes. Based on the responses, a qualitative content analysis was performed, which showed that most trainees have the thirst and urge to enhance their life skills for a minimalistic livelihood. Findings: The study concluded that though there are many schemes, only PMKVY is active. They focus on more than just youth communities. Instead, they consider individuals in different age categories. Practical Implications: The Government of India (GOI) is progressing towards a healthy economy to compete with other countries. For this mission to be achieved, skill and labour development is paramount. Appropriate training must be provided and administrated through government schemes. 2024 by P. S. Anuradha, L. A conceptual study on searching techniques used in ontology based search engines /
Search engines play a vital role in finding the relevant information across the web and make it available on the finger tips. But they seemed to be less efficient to understand the relationship between the keywords which had an adverse effect on the results it produced. Semantic search engines ?? only solution to this; is still an unrealized dream due to various underlying issues. Reducing the time taken to search the semantic annotated documents is a highly demanded solution for semantic search engines. This research focuses on a study and improvisation of searching techniques used in semantic search engines keeping time complexity as the major factor. Developing semantic search engines is considered to be a time consuming and tedious process. The reasons attributed to that are ?? It is a mightier task to semantically annotate each and every resource (text and multimedia files) available on the net as the number keeps on increasing in an exponential order per day. -

A concise route to fused tetrazolo scaffolds through 10-camphor sulfonic acid auto-tandem homogeneous catalysis and mechanistic investigation
10-Camphor sulfonic acid (10-CSA) as an organo-catalyst has gained interest due to its versatile solubility and easiness of handling. This work reports a simple synthetic method through non-classical Biginelli for the construction of tetrazolo pyrimidine (4a-m) and quinazolines (4a?-o?). Azolopyrimidines and quinazolines are of great pharmaceutical importance. Numerous compounds are currently in use for the treatment of different diseases. Therefore their synthesis is industrially inevitable. Employing aldehydes, 1,3-dicarbonyls, and 5-Aminotetrazole, we report eco-friendly, cost-effective catalysis through a tandem reaction catalyzed by the 10-CSA that gave excellent yields, 7095 % for tetrazolo quinazoline and 4576 % tetrazolo pyrimidines respectively. The homonuclear NOESY analysis confirms the selective formation of one isomer. All the compounds are characterised by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and MS. Investigation of the reaction mechanism by both experimental and theoretical studies provides evidence. Mechanism of the reaction was also explained utilizing the information from mass spectrometry monitoring. DFT calculation carried out at PBEPBE (Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof) functional and 6-31G (d,p) basis set level of theory of the various intermediates observed supports the experimental evidence. 2023 Elsevier B.V. -
A Congruent Approach to Normal Wiggly Interval-Valued Hesitant Pythagorean Fuzzy Set for Thermal Energy Storage Technique Selection Applications
Thermal energy is the energy from a substance in which molecules and atoms vibrate faster because of an increase in temperature. Thermal energy storage (TES) is an available energy resource for renewable energy platforms that enables them to meet sustainable technical requirements. The TES technique is divided into three categories; sensible TES, latent-heat TES, and thermo-chemical TES. The best of these techniques is selected in this research paper. Here the Interval-Valued Hesitant Pythagorean Fuzzy Set (IVPHFS) under the Normal Wiggly Mathematical Methodology is proposed and described for application to multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) technology. The MCDM methods, the Step-wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) method for determining weight values, and the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method for ranking alternative values are used employed here. The alternative values are selected based on the following criteria: capacity, efficiency, storage period, charging and discharging times, and cost 2021, Taiwan Fuzzy Systems Association. -
A constrained multi-period portfolio optimization model based on quantum-inspired optimization
Multi-period portfolio optimization (MPO) is one of the most important problems to be solved to help investors select optimal portfolios for investment plans. The portfolios are influenced by the risk factors in the market and it is important to select optimal portfolios that can maximize the returns with minimum risk values. Other than the risk factor, there are several other influential factors that reduce the optimality of the portfolios. Therefore, by considering all possible constraints, this study proposes a multi-constraint MPO model that selects the optimal portfolio based on the asset returns. To solve the multi-constrained problem, a novel quantum-inspired whale optimization algorithm (QWOA) is introduced in this paper. The proposed algorithm enhances the traditional optimization model to work in a multi-constrained scenario. Here, quantum entanglement is adapted to reduce the slow convergence issue of whale optimization. Apart from considering only the risk factors, this paper also considers certain higher-order moments (HOM), such as skewness, kurtosis, transaction cost, diversification, boundary and budget constraints. These factors affect the portfolios as the market is dynamic, and timely changes are always seen. Thus, optimizing the mentioned factors aids in attaining an optimal portfolio. Empirical evaluations are performed, and the results suggested that the proposed model provided beneficial outcomes as compared with other algorithms like whale optimization algorithm (WOA), gray wolf optimization (GWO), fruitfly optimization algorithm (FOA), particle swarm optimization (PSO) and fruitfly algorithm (FA). The overall net return rate of the proposed model is always above 0.85% for different values of upper bounds, and the obtained Sharpe ratio, Sortino ratio, STARR ratio, information ratio, Shannon entropy, and downside deviation values of the proposed algorithm are 5.016254, 0.89327, ? 0.01987, 0.103826, 3.04452 and 0.2854. Hence, the proposed approach is highly effective for optimizing the constrained MPO. The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024. -
A continuous protocol for the epoxidation of olefins, monocyclic terpenes, and Alpha Beta Unsaturated Carbonyl Synthons using eco-friendly Flow Reactor Conditions
Herein, we report a simple synthetic protocol for selective epoxidation of olefins, monocyclic terpenes, and chalcones using a continuous semi-batch process in good to excellent yields. Mainly, industrial semi-batch epoxidation is an extremely risky process that includes very high safety measures to avoid the accumulation of peroxide species in the reactor during the process, which leads to accidents. To avoid the same, we have established a constant flow reactor protocol for the epoxidation of fore mentioned key synthons using a cyanamide-potassium carbonate catalytic system which helps to reduce the accumulation of the peroxide species, and also yields moderate to high yields of the desired products. The developed methodology was successfully utilized for the epoxidation of a range of aliphatic to aromatic olefins to generate corresponding epoxides. All the products and their structures were examined using 1HNMR, and 13NMR spectroscopy. More importantly, this proposed protocol is recyclable and reproducible where in using similar research conditions. 2022 The Authors -
A Cooperative Global Sequencing Algorithm for Distributed Wireless Sensor Networks
Data gathering is a very fundamental use for wireless sensor networks. The area to be monitored has sensor units distributed. They can tell how much demand there is. Temperature, pressure, humidity, sun rays, and other factors could be involved. The detected data is sent to a centralized device called a sink or just a base station. Networks are frequently distributed in character, meaning that more than one kind of instrument is placed in a particular area. There is only one kind of component in uniform networks. A tree is created and anchored at the sink after the nodes have been distributed. In distributed networks, flawless aggregation is challenging to accomplish. In contrast to uniform networks, nodes may receive and transmit multiple types of packets. Every message should be forwarded by the node to a parent so that it can be combined in order to increase the likelihood of aggregation. As a result, a node might need to choose more than one progenitor. This implies that various parameters should be taken into account while forming trees. We have improved the literature's suggested combined distributed scheduling and tree generation for distributed networks. We discover that the expanded method maximizes aggregation, schedules the network with fewer time slots, and uses less energy. Additionally, it is discovered that distributed networks require more management costs to schedule than uniform networks do. 2023 IEEE. -

A critical analysis of the complexity of leadership in zimbabwean anglican churches
This study examines the leadership controversy in the Anglican Churches of newlineZimbabwe and evaluates the extent to which the exigencies of power impacted upon this newlineconflict. This study is necessitated by the fact that the Anglican Church Province of Central Africa has been affected by an unprecedented conflict hinged on leadership wrangle and a crisis of legitimacy. This has resulted in the excommunication of Bishop of the diocese of Harare who had deliberately withdrawn from the Anglican international communion to form the province of Zimbabwe. Key to this dispute was the allegation of gay marriages presumably blessed by the Church of the Province of Central Africa (CPCA) although it appears that there were other multifarious factors behind the controversy. Given this background, this study seeks to present a critical exploration of the cardinal factors at play within the context of the Episcopalian polity and try to link church governance and ecclesiology to the context of the Anglican conflict in Zimbabwe. It should be appreciated that, as the world is setting into the 21st Century and Globalization becomes inescapable, a new breed of leaders and leadership paradigm is needed in Christian organizations. There is newlinea general consensus among scholars that the term leadership can be defined from various newlinevantage points. But for the purposes of this study, the term leadership designates the art of inducing competence, an instrument of goal achievement, a form of persuasion. Leadership newlineis the most important factor determining the future of any organization. The style of newlineleadership in a religious organization is a critical determinant in enhancing the stability and growth of the church. To this end, leadership has to do with the manner and approach of providing direction, implementing plans for institutional development, staff development progress in pursuit of organizational excellence. -
A critical analysis of the contemporary popular malayalam motion pictures as compared to the malayalam movies of 1980s /
Malayalam new wave films prominently made by Adoor Gopalakrishnan and Aravindan bagged several national awards which helped to make a mark in the history of Indian cinema. But these movies were not reaching the wavelength of general audience who found it difficult to relate to it. Later the types of movies were produced which was a synthesis of art films and commercial films. It was called middle stream cinema because it contained the aspect of realistic portrayal of human life and social issues. It was also easy for the general audience to grasp the content of those movies. So the period of 1980s where the middle stream films flourished was a mile stone in Malayalam cinema. The movies which were produced after 2000 in Malayalam also showed a sense of social reality in it compared to the previous decade. With the kind of technical advancement filmmakers of current era are able to experiment in the narratives maintaining the realistic feel of movies. The analysis showcases changing trends of the movies from the Malayalam movie industry taking into consideration the technological advancements, socio-economic and cultural factors. -

A Critical analysis of the law relationg to elementary education in india Viz-A-Viz Minimum level of learning
The demand for free and compulsory education started in the British period. newlineThe framers directed that the object of Article 45 must be achieved within ten years newlineof the commencement of the constitution. After several judicial strictures the newlineConstitutional (Eighty Sixth) Amendment Act 2002 (Amendment Act, 2002) declared education as a fundamental right. To execute this mandate the Children Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 (RTE Act, 2009) was passed. However, the government has failed to fulfil the mandate of giving quality education in terms of minimum level of learning under the RTE Act. One of the newlineparameters of the Quality Monitoring Tool under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is newlineto give quality education in terms of minimum level of learning. But, when it was newlinerealized that the children from Government schools are completing their primary newlineeducation without minimum level of learning, three amendments had been made to the RTE Act 2009, i.e., during 2012, 2015 and 2019. Yet, the latest Annual Survey on Education Report shows that there is poor minimum level of learning among children who have completed their primary education in government primary newlineschools. Thus, the purpose of this research is to critically analyse the RTE Act 2009 newlineand the subsequent amendments to the Act of 2009 and to study various policies and schemes under SSA, to explore the reasons for low level of learning in government primary school and to make suggestion to improve the minimum level of learning. -
A critical analysis of the zimbabwean political leadership in the practice of justice
Political leadership is a fundamental philosophical issue influencing governance newlineof states and the success of every state is directly or indirectly linked to the newlineleadership ideology of its political leaders. This study investigated the nature and newlinecharacter of political leaders in Zimbabwe by assessing their political philosophy in the context of the major historical events since 1890 masked by three eras namely the pre-colonial era, (characterised by little political activities) followed by the colonial era (dominated by socio-political system that weakened the African culture and governance) and lastly, the post-independence era (characterised by failure to uphold the constitution by the ruling party leadership). newlineThe scope of this study is based on benchmarking the concepts of the Zimbabwean political philosophy with political ideas from renown philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle and Gandhi. More specifically, the Gandhian philosophy was selected and conceptually applied to the Zimbabwean political situation in an attempt to develop an ideal political philosophy because of its illustrious wisdom with regards to good governance principles. A hermeneutics and newlinephilosophical analytic models were used to interpret relevant literature and leadership responsibilities as provided for in the Zimbabwe Constitution. Study findings revealed challenges in the current political leadership that calls for developing a new Zimbabwean political leadership philosophy. These include but not limited to partisan politics, political violence, unbridled favouritism and nepotism, ethnicity in leadership, state capture of key institutions, negative use of power by the state, political violence, poor electoral systems flouted with impunity and rampant corruption. These political challenges militate against democratic principles of common good that fight human oppression, repression and suppression. -
