Policy Landscape and Incentives on AIPowered Green Finance
The application of AI in green finance has enormous potential to tackle climate change, but its effect would be determined by the strength and integrity of governance mechanisms as well as well- designed incentives. Good policy serves to set the bar but also incentives and responsible use in finance in AI applications. In the absence of such governance, exposures including algorithmic discrimination, data mining and unequal access to technology are likely to compound rather than advance social goals. Thus, AI governance has become a priority for governments, financial regulators and multilateral organisations. Policy frameworks achieve two parallel goals: on the one hand they provide boundaries to invest in technology and at the same time these very policy mechanisms direct capital towards environmentally friendly investment through incentives like tax benefits, financial grants, green debts etc. 2026 by IGI Global Scientific Publishing. -
Using Machine Learning Sentiment Analysis to Evaluate Students Learning Impact
For educational experiences and results to be improved, learning impact assessment is essential. Students' emotional reactions, which are crucial to their involvement and understanding, are frequently missed by traditional evaluation techniques. Through a review of student feedback, conversations, and course ratings, this study investigates the use of machine learning-based sentiment analysis to assess the impact of learning. Performance evaluations were conducted on a number of sentiment categorization models, including Nae Bayes, Support Vector Machines (SVM), Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), and BERT. With an accuracy of 91.7%, the results show that BERT performs better than other models and offers more accurate sentiment classification. Accuracy and insights are further improved by combining textual, auditory, and visual signals in multi-modal sentiment analysis. The results show how sentiment analysis may be used to track feedback in real time facilitating adaptive learning techniques to raise student interest. Future studies should concentrate on expanding sentiment analysis applications to traditional and hybrid learning contexts, integrating multi-modal data, and ethical implications. 2025 IEEE. -
Imagined Communities in Bollywood: A Contrapuntal Reading of The Kashmir Files and Mulk
Under the Modi regime, Hindu nationalist ideologies have gained prominence, resulting in a growing utilisation of cinema as a political tool in India. This article explores Bollywoods role as a mass cultural medium in shaping communal identities through a contrapuntal analysis of two ideologically opposed films: Mulk (2018) and The Kashmir Files (2022). Utilising Benedict Andersons concept of imagined communities and Edward Saids contrapuntal reading technique, the research examines the role of these films in shaping narratives of majoritarian Hindus and minority Muslims. The Kashmir Files promotes a one-dimensional communal narrative that portrays Muslims as the aggressors and Hindus as the victims, thus bolstering Hindutva ideologies. Conversely, Mulk challenges this narrative by depicting the Muslim community as unjustly demonised and seeking justice in a pluralistic context. This article outlines Bollywoods involvement in the broader political discourse surrounding religious identity in India through a comparative analysis of themes like terrorism, visual stereotyping, and the representation of jihad. The findings are intended to contribute to the critical discussion surrounding nationalism, media representation, and communal politics in present-day South Asia. 2025, International Islamic University Malaysia. Gender Matters: Psychological Drivers of Unethical Pro-organizational Behavior in India
Unethical pro-organizational behavior (UPB), a phenomenon that has emerged through corporate misconduct worldwide, stands as a challenge to organizational and societal sustainability. Despite its impact, the influence of gender on UPB and other related psychological variables remains underexplored. This study tries to understand the role of gender, particularly on how UPB, often related to masculine traits, is affected by psychological ownership and psychological contract (relational). Given the predominantly patriarchal society of India, this study gains relevance as ethical decision-making might be affected by traditional gender roles, where nurturance, frequently associated with women, might have a say. A sample of 300 employees working as sales executives, team leads, and managers from various Ed-tech institutes in India were selected and employed the UPB scale, psychological contract scale, and psychological ownership scale. The data were then subjected to correlation, regression, t-test, and moderation using SPSS-24 and Hayes Process Macro. Results revealed a significant association between UPB, psychological ownership, and psychological contract, where the latter two significantly predicted UPB. A significant gender difference was found among all three variables, where the relationship between psychological ownership and UPB was significantly higher among males. These findings are then explained using various theoretical and historical antecedents and ultimately shedding light on what needs to be done for its alleviation. 2025 K J Somaiya Institute of Management -
Neural correlates of auditory comprehension and integration of sanskrit verse: a functional MRI study
In this investigation, we delve into the neural underpinnings of auditory processing of Sanskrit verse comprehension, an area not previously explored by neuroscientific research. Our study examines a diverse group of 44 bilingual individuals, including both proficient and non-proficient Sanskrit speakers, to uncover the intricate neural patterns involved in processing verses of this ancient language. Employing an integrated neuroimaging approach that combines functional connectivity-multivariate pattern analysis (fc-MVPA), voxel-based univariate analysis, seed-based connectivity analysis, and the use of sparse fMRI techniques to minimize the interference of scanner noise, we highlight the brain's adaptability and ability to integrate multiple types of information. Our findings from fc-MVPA reveal distinct connectivity patterns in proficient Sanskrit speakers, particularly involving the bilateral inferior temporal, left middle temporal, bilateral orbitofrontal, and bilateral occipital pole. Voxel-based univariate analysis showed significant activation in the right middle frontal gyrus, bilateral caudate nuclei, bilateral middle occipital gyri, left lingual gyrus, bilateral inferior parietal lobules, and bilateral inferior frontal gyri. Seed-based connectivity analysis further emphasizes the interconnected nature of the neural networks involved in language processing, demonstrating how these regions collaborate to support complex linguistic tasks. This research reveals how the brain processes the complex syntactic and semantic elements of Sanskrit verse. Findings indicate that proficient speakers effectively navigate intricate syntactic structures and semantic associations, engaging multiple brain regions in coordination. By examining the cognitive mechanisms underlying Sanskrit verse comprehension, which shares rhythmic and structural features with music and poetry, this study highlights the neural connections between language, culture, and cognition.
