This is an attempt to understand the antecedents of organic food and try to re-establish the relationship between the attributes of organic food, the utilitarian and hedonic attitudes and consumer purchase intentions. The SOR model has been used to support the theoretical framework for conducting the research on organic food products. The nutritional values, sensory appeal, environmental concern price and natural content of organic food products have significant and positive relationship on utilitarian and hedonic attitudes of the consumer.
