Executive functions are based on three broad brain capacities namely: inhibitory control, working memory and cognitive flexibility. The participants for the study comprised 99 executives working in public sector organizations in India. Correlational analysis was computed to examine the relationship between executive functions and psychological flourishing. Multiple regression was used to find out if executive functions predicted psychological flourishing. The significant positive association of psychological flourishing with self-restraint, working memory, emotional control, focus, task initiation, planning/prioritization, organization, time management, defining and achieving goals, flexibility and observation was observed. The results of the multiple regression indicated that working memory, focus and observation predicted psychological flourishing. 2021 Ecological Society of India. All rights reserved.
