- Description
- All food items will have shelf life period. The main aim of food preservation is to maximize the shelf life period and preservation of nutrients for a long period. One of the preservation methods is refrigeration. Each food item will have its own optimum storage temperature to maximize the shelf life period. Normal refrigerators have fixed temperature. The work proposes a refrigerator with six compartments which is equipped with temperature sensors to maintain the fixed temperature for that compartment and with weighing sensors to monitor the depleting food items with the help of a controller. 2019, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc.
