According to the National Mental Health Survey Report, at least 14% of the India's population needs attention for mental disorders, of which stress, depression, and anxiety are the most common. An automated system that helps in detecting these mental disorders and thereby helps us to lead a better life by moulding our lifestyle is desirable. This chapter proposes an Intelligent Therapist based on machine learning which diagnoses a person's mental state through a set of questionnaires that helps in determining his/her mental state. The chatbot analyses the response and classifies them into different categories as per the severity of the disorder. The model is trained and tested on varying datasets to provide better accuracy in the understanding of human behaviour.
