Resource provisioning seeks to meet user needs by supplying the appropriate resources at the appropriate time at a lower cost. A service provider oversees supplying resources to all applications, and among the methods of resource management that they can employ are time-based, cost-based, on-demand, and bargain-based. These general approaches to resource provisioning and scheduling are based on recent developments in heterogeneity in 6G networks, including cloud computing, fog computing, and autonomic computing, to allocate and schedule resources while keeping an eye on service performance and adjusting as needed to meet the needs of cloud users.
