Title A name given to the resource The Truncated Modified Lindley Generated Family of Distributions Description An account of the resource In this paper, two contributions to the modified Lindley distribution are provided. First, we bend the truncation scheme to this model to introduce a new distribution on the interval (0, 1). Theory and practice are provided. In particular, we show that it can be an interesting alternative to the analogous truncated exponential and Lindley distributions. Then, we employ this truncated distribution to develop a new generalized family of distributions.
