This DVR is engineered to counteract voltage disruptions resulting from grid disturbances and the intermittent nature of solar energy generation. To achieve optimal performance in diverse operating conditions, the adaptive PI controller dynamically adjusts its parameters, adapting to changes in load and solar generation. The system is realized on a digital signal processor (DSP) and evaluated within a laboratory-scale solar-based grid integration setup. The findings reveal that the proposed system effectively mitigates voltage fluctuations, ensuring a stable integration of solar energy into the grid. The adaptive PI control-based DVR outperforms traditional PI control-based DVRs, particularly when dealing with variable solar energy generation.
