All new manufacturing processes should be designed by considering the pandemic situation in the future. The present study is focused on restructuring the layout of an existing production unit in order to cope with any such eventualities. Various models that are suitable for adoption in post-pandemic, have been proposed and their efficiencies are compared in this paper. The authors also investigate how such changes will impact the efficiency of the existing line.
