It is a severe life-threatening disease, making it increasingly necessary to develop accurate and reliable artificial intelligence diagnosis models and take early action. This paper evaluates and compares various Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for pneumonia detection using chest X-rays. Six machine learning models -Logistic Regression, KNN, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, and Support Vector Machines - and three deep learning models - CNN, VGG16, and ResNet - were created and compared with each other.
