Every application and its services are connected to the internet and the latency aware applications are greatly dependent on Fog Infrastructure with the cloud as a backbone. With these technologies, orchestration plays an important role in coordinating the services of an application. With multiple services contributing to a single application, the services may be deployed distributed in multiple server. Proper coordination with effective communication between the modules can improve the performance of the application. This paper deals with the need for orchestration, challenges, and tools with respect to edge/fog computing.
