The goods in these industries are produced in varieties and the output volume varies from low to high. Typically, these types of businesses use a conveyor system that could have a combination of a diverging and converging conveyor system due to a variety of processing phases involved in the development of the commodity. A conceptual model of the of conveyor system is described, which works manually and to illustrate the importance of the sequence using buffer the buffer layout is modeled and compared to the manual layout. The genetic algorithm is used to find the optimal buffer storage.
