Data showed that stronger endorsement of TMI correlated with lower emotional intelligence (? = ?.18, p &lt; .001), with NMA mediating this relationship (? = ?.28, p &lt; .01). These findings highlight how unhealthy masculinity norms may impact emotional awareness and expression. Understanding this relationship within the context of postmodern patriarchal India offers insights into mens emotional experiences and highlights the need for psychoeducation and tailored mental health interventions.
