This review uses a systematic literature network analysis to provide an overview of the SCRM research landscape, with emphasis on optimisation approaches, mathematical modelling tools, and the identification of seminal studies and relevant keywords used in SCRM research. However, there are few quantitative models that represent the relationship between supply chain surplus, sustainability, and resilience in SCRM literature. The study has limitations since it only sources from a single database, and more clarity is needed on the effectiveness of optimisation in SCRM, which can be further evaluated through case studies and empirical studies.
