This study explores the potential of AR in promoting media literacy and sustainability awareness, two critical competencies in the modern information landscape. Through a mixed-methods approach, the research investigates how AR interventions can improve individuals ability to critically assess media content while simultaneously raising awareness about environmental sustainability. The study employs pre- and post-test evaluations, focus groups, and user interaction data to measure changes in media literacy and sustainability awareness among participants exposed to AR-based educational content. Findings indicate that AR significantly enhances media literacy by enabling users to better identify fake news, understand media bias, and critically evaluate information sources.
