The postwar society thus concentrated on improving economic growth. To energize this inspirational project, the globe promoted the widespread development of transnational actors. They include international institutions such as the UN, multinational and transnational corporations, Nongovernmental Organizations, and private actors. They are supposed to prioritize human rights, human security, and sustainable development. However, experiences affirm that they prioritize profit over protection and personal gains over sustainability. Furthermore, the unnecessary involvement of international organizations and corporations from developed countries in the affairs of developing countries creates complications and confusion regarding state sovereignty.
