Digital addiction, characterized by compulsive behaviours related to digital devices and platforms, poses significant challenges to physicalhealth, mentalwell-being, andsocialrelationships. Grounded in the biopsychosocial model of health and drawing upon theories of behavioural addiction, social learning, self-determination, and cognitive-behavioural therapy, this research explores the prevalence, impacts, and interventions of digital addiction across diverse demographics.
