The research suggests that the mind and body have a bidirectional connection. These interactions bring many chemical changes in the body. Both Positive and negative emotional states, creating different neuroimmune responses in the body, and thus influence health and recovery from illness. The bi-directional influence of psychology and immunology is especially evident in the pediatric population. Children's quality of life is quite important to define their overall health.
