Recent days have seen a steep rise in the adoption of IoT to various factors affecting agriculture like climate change monitoring, greenhouse automation, crop cultivation and management, cattle monitoring and management, precision farming, agricultural drones, predictive analysis for smart farming and many more. This invention discloses a Data-driven smart IoT system to help farmers for effective decision making on the choice of the crop to be cultivated in the given time. IoT sensors are capable to predict the humidity in the soil, nature of chemical resources that are apt for cultivation and weather forecasting.
