In recent years, sustainability has emerged as a popular buzzword. The practice of considering Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors when making investment decisions in the financial industry is known as sustainable finance and it results in longer-term investments in sustainable projects and economic activities. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) also play a crucial role in the adoption of sustainable practices. Investing in companies and projects that use sustainable ESG practices is already becoming more popular and there is a rising need for finance experts with knowledge of this emerging but specialized area. Stakeholder demands and regulations with an environmental focus will increase pressure on organizations to set public climate-related goals. This study tries to find out the interrelationship between ESG, SDGs and Sustainable Finance.
