Monoclinic Y203 quantum dots were synthesized at low temperature using urea as the fuel. The sample preparation was done using simple laboratory hot air oven and the synthesis temperature was maintained at 90°C throughout the experiment. Prepared samples were characterized using x ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), UV- Vis absorption spectroscopy and photoluminescence (PL) Studies. - Date
