The brightness can vary from a few milliseconds to a few hours and exhibit emissions across Radio waves to X-rays and even in Gamma rays. Sophisticated search techniques such as single pulse search, clustering, advanced AI, and digital signal processing are used to detect the radio signals emitted from these transient sources. A study of the signals from the transient sources helps to understand their origin and nature.
