A normal phase high-performance thin-layer chromatography (NP-HPTLC) method was developed and validated for the simultaneous profiling of Erlotinib and its Desethynyl Erlotinib impurity. The optimized method utilized ethyl acetate, methanol, and glacial acetic acid (9: 0.5: 0.5 v/v/v) as the mobile phase for effective separation and quantification. The method demonstrated excellent linearity for Erlotinib and its impurity over a concentration range of 200-1200 ng/spot, with R2 values of 0.9979 and 0.9998, respectively. Validation confirmed precision with intra-day and inter-day % RSD values of less than 2% and robustness. The limits of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) were 5.18 ng/spot and 15.70 ng/spot for Erlotinib and 7.07 ng/spot and 21.43 ng/spot for the impurity. In-vitro assays against the A549 lung cancer cell line expressing wild-type EGFR tyrosine kinase (WT EGFR TK) showed that the Desethynyl Erlotinib impurity exhibits significant inhibition compared to Erlotinib, suggesting the potential toxicity of the Desethynyl Erlotinib impurity and causing side effects such as diarrhea, skin rashes and interstitial lung disease due to WT EGFR tyrosine kinase (WT EGFR TK) inhibition. Molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations further corroborated greater stability in the Desethynyl Erlotinib impurity with WT EGFR tyrosine kinase (WT EGFR TK). Clinically, these findings highlight the importance of monitoring and minimizing impurities like Desethynyl Erlotinib to prevent adverse effects and maintain the therapeutic safety of Erlotinib in lung cancer treatment. The relative persuasive potential of narrative and non-narrative advertisements in the context of environmental communication, and the psychological processes underlying their actions, has been minimally explored. This study, conducted in the Indian subcontinent, tested the hypothesis that there is a significant difference in the effectiveness of narrative and non-narrative advertisements on green purchase decisions, and examined processing fluency and affect as explanatory factors. A pre-test-post-test quasi-experimental design was employed, with 40 participants subsequently assigned to either a narrative group (n = 20) or a non-narrative group (n = 20). Results revealed that although narrative advertisements were easier to process, non-narrative advertisements were more effective in influencing consumers green purchase decisions. However, tension relating to the governance of smart cities has emerged. Therefore, a mixed-methods approach was used based on a perception survey, case studies, and discussions with stakeholders and experts, to examine the current governance challenges in transforming existing cities into smart cities, and to explore various perspectives to propose a framework for an appropriate governance system for developing smart cities in India. In a mega-city like Delhi, where a high number of personal vehicles and excessive pollution concentration simultaneously exist, adopting such restrictions might help minimise emissions streaming from vehicular sources. A handful of empirical studies have estimated the policy effect but failed to provide its causal impact on air pollution levels, which is necessary for understanding the effectiveness of the odd-even restrictions. Therefore, we utilise the quasi-experimental design to find a causal relationship between driving restrictions and air pollutants (mainly generated from vehicular sources) across different policy rounds. Under quasi-experimental design, the study employs the triple difference technique on hourly air quality data. The findings of the empirical exercise indicate that the driving restriction reduces the average concentration levels of CO and PM2.5 pollutants during our restriction period. In this context, this paper explores the narrative potentialities of COVID-19 comics as a means of narrative meta-control over the chaotic nature of the lived pandemic experiences. Meta-control, the act of regaining a sense of agency over a contingent circumstance that is otherwise uncontrollable, offers narrative agency as a means of navigating meaning-making and the reality of chaos. In this paper, This Quarantine Life: A COVID-19 Era Comics Anthology (2020), a global anthology brought forth by the New York Arts Students League, is analysed as a chaos narrative. Interrogating normative understandings of chaos narratives, the paper reframes these comics as spaces of and for narrative resistance, where aesthetic form functions as narrative repair by interrogating its acts of meta-control. Interweaving both conceptual reframing and multimodal discourse analysis, this paper shows how comic artists use narrative strategies of braiding, arthrology, and spatio-topia to work with chaos. This study employs a conceptual model grounded on the theory of social power and the S-O-R model with the moderating role of credibility. Data was gathered from 423 samples. To test the dimensionality of Augmented reality-induced influencer content, exploratory factor analysis with principal component analysis and Varimax orthogonal rotation was adopted. SPSS version 22.0 and AMOS version 20 were used for data analysis. The studys findings indicate that following influencers generates favorable brand effects, such as increased social power and higher purchase intentions, by fostering familiarity and internalizing behavioral intents. The study aimed to highlight the impact of inadequate resources, policies, and practices in autism training during COVID-19 and to suggest measures to address inequities in access or attainability of services within the context of the experiences of special educators. Methods: We interviewed 12 special educators, exploring their virtual teaching experiences and parental participation and inferring insights on bridging gaps in autism education using a semi-structured interview guide. Results: Pre-pandemic disparities like inadequate resources, lack of policy implementation, and non-accessibility to therapy services impacted remote learning. It was disrupted by the non-availability of devices with good connectivity and limited technological skills among educators, students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and parents. The special educators and parents lacked the knowledge and skills to meet their unique needs. Skill regression, health issues, and behavior challenges were observed post-COVID. Conclusions: The study revealed that the existing challenges greatly affected education, health, and social life during the pandemic. Individuals with ASD who require very substantial support were the most affected group. This design precludes understanding of the role of non-specific factors in influencing outcomes. Objective: This study evaluated an adapted version of WHOs Problem Management Plus (gPM+), titled Coping with COVID, against an active control condition to reduce anxiety and depression during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: In this two-arm, single-blind, randomised controlled trial, young adults aged 1824 years who screened positive for COVID-19 related psychological distress in Bengaluru (India) were randomly allocated to either Coping with COVID (n = 91) or non-directive Supportive Counselling (SC; n = 92) groups. Coping with COVID was a 6-sesion, group-based programme that taught coping strategies for stress. SC was a 6-sesion, group-based programme that offered non-directive support. The primary outcomes were anxiety and depression as measured by the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scales (HADS) assessed at baseline, post-intervention, 2-months (primary outcome timepoint), and 6-months after treatment. Secondary outcomes included generalised worry, positive wellbeing, pandemic-related stress, and suicidal ideation. Results: Between October 2021 and December 2022, 183 participants were enrolled into the trial. Relative to SC, Coping with COVID did not lead to significant reductions in anxiety (mean difference 0.24 [95% CI, ?1.01,1.48], p&gt;.05), or depression (mean difference.03 [95% CI, ?1.19, 1.26], p&gt;.05). Similarly, there were no significant differences between conditions for all secondary outcomes. Conclusions: The findings suggest that the benefits of strategies that comprise transdiagnostic scalable psychological interventions may not surpass non-specific factors in driving symptom reduction. Clinical implications: There is a need to further evaluate the role of non-specific factors in scalable psychological programmes because focusing on these may have implications for ease of training and implementation. The present study explores the educational initiatives of St. Chavara and his followers, the CMI and CMC, and their role in shaping the modernity of nineteenth century Kerala, India. The study highlights how St. Chavaras visionary leadership in education contributed to modernisation in Kerala. The study focuses on his key initiatives such as secular education, inclusive education, women education, universal education and new educational support programmes which led to modernity of Kerala. The study reveals that St. Chavara's educational initiatives had a profound impact on both individuals and society of nineteenth century Kerala. The research paradigm was positivism and accordingly, a quantitative approach to research was undertaken. The survey sampling design was carried out and the data collection was through a questionnaire with 5-point Likert Scale. The questionnaire was based on standard scales measuring individual dimensions of the research. The questionnaire was administered both in hard copy and electronic form. The sample size was 300 based on the simple random sampling technique. The structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to analyse the data. The results revealed that among the 16 hypotheses 12 were supported. Franciscan spirituality had a significant positive relationship with cognitive development, personality development and social and cultural development; community engagement had a significant positive relationship with cognitive development, professional development, and social and cultural development; interfaith and intercultural dialogue had a significant positive relationship with cognitive development, personality development, and social and cultural development; and service mentality had a significant positive relationship with personality development, professional development, and social and cultural development. However, there are contextual dilemmas in practicing the holistic approach while meeting the gospel values amidst diversity. The study aims to understand the various challenges student-athletes face in Catholic institutions while pursuing their sporting aspirations. It includes support systems, infrastructural facilities, mental well-being, career aspirations, and policy requirements. Through semi-structured interviews, study explored the challenges and expectation of emerging student-athletes in Catholic institutions across India. Ten lead student-athletes from diverse sports categories were selected for an in-depth interview through snowball sampling technique. The narrative analysis revealed that, athletes are not satisfied with the institutional support. Furthermore, academic demands and time constraints are affecting their mental health. They frequently fall sick, face physical injuries, and lag in academic work. They are feeling unattended by their institution and are looking forward for institutional support in sport related expenses and academics. The study found that, encouragement and emotional support from family, teachers, and coaches would help them lead a healthy and purposeful life. The study recommends stakeholders to help emerging student-athletes find support for their financial, emotional, and professional goals. However, it involves different challenges that may lead to a negative appraisal. This study aimed to explore cognitive appraisal processes social entrepreneurs use to make informed decisions in their entrepreneurial journey.
