<text>Functionalizing metal oxide nanoparticles with polymers and folic acid enhances eco-friendly synthesis, therapeutic efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This study reports the green synthesis of titanium dioxide (TiO?) and folic acidPluronic F127modified TiO?(TiPFFA) nanoparticles usingPsidium guajavaleaf extract as a natural reducing and stabilizing agent. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed that both nanoparticles crystallized in the rutile phase. Morphological characterization by FESEM and TEM showed that the nanoparticles were spherical with uniform size distribution. FTIR spectroscopy showed TiOTi (789cm?1) and TiO (666cm?1) for TiO?; TiPFFA had extra peaks at 951 and 640cm?1, confirming the lattice. PL spectra exhibited emission peaks at 518nm (TiO?) and 520nm (TiPFFA), indicating oxygen vacancies linked to reactive oxygen species generation. Antimicrobial tests against methicillin-resistantStaphylococcus aureus andCandida albicansshowed superior activity of TiPFFAnanoparticles compared to TiO?. Cytotoxicity assays on MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells and L929 fibroblast cells demonstrated enhanced anticancer activity and better biocompatibility for TiPFFA. These findings highlight TiPFFA nanoparticles as promising candidates for targeted cancer therapy and as antimicrobial agents. <text>Mental health professionals cater to the needs of people in distress. They utilise cognitive and emotional resources to completely empathise with the clientele and it can often lead to distress because helping profession is more prone to burnout. The benefits of practicing psychotherapy outweigh the hazards if they can bring work-life balance by creating a boundary between personal and professional lives. The aim of the current study was to explore the meaning and significance of professional experiences in the development of positive self. Seven psychotherapists with minimum ten years of experience participated in the study. Using semi structured in-depth interviews details about professional experience and the impact on personal life was explored. The data was analysed using thematic analysis. The study found the indicators of positive self as high self esteem, high self efficacy, experiencing positive emotions, signs of wisdom, hopeful behaviour, high optimism, self regulation, experiencing gratitude and forgiveness. Work experiences and coping strategies influenced the development of positive self. The results of the study can be used in training programmes for psychotherapists and building the conceptual model of positive self.

<text>Machine learning (ML) has brought about a paradigm shift in insight generation across various domains, including healthcare, finance, and pharma, by leveraging historical data. However, the effectiveness of ML solutions hinges on the seamless collaboration between data owners, model owners, and ML clients while ensuring that privacy concerns are meticulously addressed. Unfortunately, existing privacy-preserving solutions have not been able to offer efficient and confidential ML training and inference. This has led to an increased focus on Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning (PPML), which has become a flourishing area of research aimed at safeguarding the privacy of machine learning stakeholders. In this regard, the present research introduces novel techniques for private ML inference and training of models using Secure Multi-Party Computation (SMPC) and Differential Privacy (DP) methods on horizontally and vertically partitioned datasets. The proposed techniques are implemented using Python with open-source libraries such as SyMPC and PyDP to ensure confidential inference and model protection. The findings across various parameters illustrate the effectiveness of the suggested techniques in addressing the privacy concerns of model owners and inference clients, with no significant impact on accuracy and a linear influence on performance as the privacy parameters, such as secure nodes count within the SMPC cluster. are increased. Furthermore, the privacy gain is substantiated by information privacy measures such as Mutual Information and KL-Divergence across different privacy budgets, which demonstrate empirically that privacy can be preserved with high ML accuracy and minimal performance cost.</text>

With the help of an Arduino Uno and an optical sensor, the electric analyser pulse is captured. To reduce human mistake and the expense of energy usage, a low-cost wireless network of sensors for digital energy metres is implemented alongside a smartphone application that can autonomously read the metre of the unit. In this research, an intelligent power monitoring system with effective communication modules has been developed to make wise use of the electricity. The controller, NB-IoT connection module, and cloud are the three main components of an IOT-based smart energy metre system. The controller is essential for maintaining the functionality of each component. This solution reduces the need for human involvement in electricity maintenance by connecting energy metres to the cloud using an NB-IoT communication module. The IoT-based metre reading system in the proposed work is created to monitor and analyse the metre reading, and the service provider can cut off the source of electricity whenever the customer fails to pay the monthly bill. It also eliminates the need for human intervention, provides accurate metre reading, and guards against billing errors. The proposed SPM improves the overall accuracy ranges of 7.42, 27.83, and 20% better than DR, OREM, and SLN respectively. 2023</text>

In this current scenario, the traffic solutions for public transport are used in many countries and can be adapted and implemented on vehicles that are used for two wheelers. The aim of this innovation system is to avoid triples riding in two wheelers. Intelligent speed control and over speed control is currently used in our country. But traffic police are controlling only over speed in certain areas only.
Many accidents are created on triples riding and over speeding in two wheelers.</text>

<text>Collaboration in a supply chain becomes a significant competitive weapon for member firms in an uncertain business environment. The present study develops a model of supply chain collaboration named as House of Collaborative Partnership (HCP) and includes the enablers and impeders of a successful Collaborative Partnership (CP). Model development follows a three-phase process. The first phase consists of the identification of enablers and impeders of CP based on the literature review and experts opinions. The second phase applies Total Interpretive Structural Modelling (TISM) as a tool to construct hierarchical structures of the enablers and impeders of CP. The third phase deals with the development of HCP based on the hierarchical structures of enablers and impeders. The HCP is then validated with two case studies in the Indian textile industry. Eight enablers and seven impeders were identified in the first phase. After analyzing these factors with TISM, the HCP was developed consisting of four parts: Foundation, Columns, Beam, and Roof. The existence of trust, commitment to long-term collaboration, top management support, adequate financial support, ability to deal with technological changes, and providing regular training to employees constitute the HCP Foundation to achieve supply chain collaboration. The study concludes with the managerial implications of HCP to help supply chain partners in becoming resilient during an uncertain business environment. 2022 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.</text>

<text>Fidelity estimates the closeness or degree of overlap between a pair of unknown quantum systems. In quantum information processing study, a primary task is to estimate the fidelity of a pure states pair in a 2-dimensional Hilbert space or between a mixed state, ?, and pure state existing in N dimensional Hilbert space while transmitting them through noisy environments. This paper suggests two theorems to estimate fidelity while proving and justifying them numerically. The first theorem computes fidelity between pure states and the second estimates fidelity between mixed and pure states. The mathematical basis of the theorems confirms accuracy in estimation while dealing with single- and multiqubit system environments. <text>Human rights and environmental protections are often violated as a consequence of development activities. In addition to harming the environment, this increases the marginalisation of those who are already marginalised. The development paradigm that is based on the interests of the majority not only tends to retard the indigenous people but also renders them incapable of competing with the majority. For the indigenous people, development has always been a problem rather than a solution. Development initiatives under the umbrella of globalisation with a label of monotony, ignore the aspects of the diverse livelihoods of many indigenous peoples. The Niti Aayog proposed in its vision document, the Sustainable Development of Little Andaman, in 2021, that the island should be developed into a megacity by utilising its natural features and strategic location. The long-term objective is to develop the island into a major financial tourism hub that can rival Hong Kong and Singapore. This plan will, on the one hand, advance commerce, employment, and economic growth; on the other hand, environmental conservation issues will also arise. Concerns over this vision document have indeed been voiced by several academics, environmentalists, and conservationists due to issues with Onge indigenous rights, ecological fragility, and earthquake and tsunami susceptibility. In this context, the research article aims to study and analyse the proposed megacity project and its impact on the rights of Onge tribes and the environment. <text>A lake reflects its catchment and provides a wide range of ecological services useful for the sustenance and betterment of human lives and other living organisms. The fast-paced developmental activities in the catchment area of lakes and over-consumption of available resources are resulting in the degradation of ecological services of the lake. The Upper Lake in Bhopal, a million-plus population city situated in the central part of India, has been selected for the study. The current regulatory regime for environmental conservation of the catchment area comprises a legislative framework and a set of regulatory institutions. Inadequacies in each accelerates environmental degradation of the Upper Lake, delays and escalates cost of developmental projects. This paper is an attempt to find out gaps in the existing institutional framework to conserve the catchment area. The present study focused on identifying and assessing major issues pertaining to the degradation of the Upper Lake, thereafter establishing a cause-and-effect relationship between anthropogenic activities and their environmental impacts. Subsequently, formulating developmental regulations forconserving theUpper Lake and its catchment area. Primarily, GIS application has been employed to delineate the catchment area of the Upper Lake by using catchment area assessment technique. Furthermore, a primary survey targeting the village stakeholders in the catchment area was conducted to analyze socio-economic profile and assess the agricultural practices adopted. Finally, formulated an institutional framework to conserve, govern and monitor the catchment area and the Upper Lake from the anthropogenic issues. <text>Aquaculture, one of the largest protein food generating sectors, greatly relies on nutrition. Up to the present time, the dependency of the aqua feed sector on fish meal and fish oil as protein and lipid sources, respectively, was too high, which led to its inadequacy and over-exploitation of marine resources. Recently, numerous researches with locally available feed ingredients have been accomplished. There is urgency for a move from fish meal to plant/terrestrial animal/microbial proteins within the aquaculture industry as over-exploitation of wild fishes has negative ecological consequences. Plant proteins cannot successfully replace fish meal due to poor protein digestibility and essential amino acids imbalance, urging feed concerns to search for cheaper and nutritious fish meal alternatives from animal origin. In order to overcome the indiscriminate use of antimicrobial drugs, the concept of probiotics in aquaculture has received firm encouragement in recent years due to their wise inhibitory mechanisms and safeness. Negative perception for synthetic antioxidants among fish farmers and their unreliable nature has resulted in the research for non-synthetic, food derived antioxidants that could encounter and neutralize the detrimental effects of free radicals. In line with this, there is a strong captivation to research on the individual or synergistic effects of protein hydrolysates, peptide fragments, and free amino acids that could innately exhibit antioxidative activity. Commercialization of economical feeds with antioxidative feed ingredients could strengthen the profits of feed processors. Recent development in the aquaculture sector propelled by the application of biotechnological methods has clearly highlighted the need for development of functional feeds through incorporation of bioactive molecules. In the last few decades, the global aqua feed industry has witnessed milestones in the development of feed ingredients from waste raw materials and sustainable alternatives to antibiotics and chemicals used to tackle the disease outbreak in aquaculture. As the health and immunity of fishes primarily depend on their nutritional pattern, a great research interest is extended on incorporation of biomolecules like single-cell proteins, animal proteins, plant metabolites, biopolymers, and enzymes as feed ingredients to enhance the nutritive quality and immune tolerance in fishes. Besides the focus on the feed ingredients, the modification and development of fermentation strategies for producing probioticbased feed and enzyme-assisted bioconversion into valuable feed ingredients is also gaining more importance. This chapter deals with the recent development in the aqua feed industry with specific reference to the incorporation of non-conventional feed ingredients like animal/microbial proteins, biopolymers, enzymes, and other immunostimulatory compounds in aqua feed and their impact analysis in improving the growth profile and pathogen tolerance in fishes.
