Expansion of the small business sector plays a pivotal role in growing the economies of developing countries and reducing unemployment. Digital marketing is an online platform to promote small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to reach a global audience without a physical presence in multiple locations. This is particularly beneficial for SMEs in developing countries, where access to international markets may otherwise be limited. The present chapter is a review of global digital marketing strategies and explores how developing nations, particularly India and Southeast Asian countries, can benefit from them and can adopt the advanced strategies to establish the SME sector. It is found that while digital marketing offers substantial benefits for SMEs in India and Southeast Asia, its adoption is influenced by a range of factors, including digital infrastructure, government support and access to digital literacy programs. Unlike traditional slit masks or fiber-based systems, DMDs offer dynamic reconfigurability, enabling efficient light modulation and enhanced spectral acquisition. Their adaptability has led to widespread adoption in ground-based spectrographs (e.g., RITMOS, BATMAN, SAMOS, IRMOS) and feasibility studies for space missions (e.g., EUCLID, CASTOR, SUMO, SIRMOS). DMDs have demonstrated robustness in space qualification tests, including radiation exposure, thermal cycling, and mechanical stress, making them viable for space-based applications. Recent advancements, such as UV-transparent windows and enhanced coatings, further expand their potential for ultraviolet astronomy. In India, the success of AstroSats Ultra Violet Imaging Telescope (UVIT) has motivated the development of the next-generation INdian Spectroscopic and Imaging Space Telescope (INSIST), which includes a DMD-based MOS for UV/optical observations. To advance its Technology Readiness Level (TRL), we evaluated the Texas Instruments DLP9500 DMD (1920 1080 micromirrors, 10 m pitch) in the optical band, assessing key parameters such as diffraction efficiency, reflectivity, contrast, micromirror repeatability, and Point Spread Function (PSF) alignment. Due to the increasing failure of the conventional, more rules-based methods of fraud control to detect these more sophisticated behaviours, there has arisen the need to adopt more sophisticated, technology-driven prevention methods. This paper discusses how financial-crime detection and AML/CFT processes are changing with the use of innovative tools, namely AI and machine learning analytics, privacy-preserving federated models, blockchain-based identity mechanism, and real-time digital-payment intelligence. The chapter methodologically follows the comparative case-based approach to analysis synthesising the evidence presented in regulatory publications, industry reports, and documented cases of technological deployments to define general trends, advantages, and shortcomings. The results indicate that technology-enabled systems are much more effective in detecting fraud, presenting few false positives, enhancing identity assurance, and sharing across institution intelligence at a faster rate as compared to traditional systems. To determine sand, silt and clays percentage present in a soil sample, a conventional laboratory method is used, which consumes more time. Digitization in agriculture has given a new direction of innovative research in agriculture domain. In this paper, based on image processing an efficient model has been developed for soil texture classification. Eight different image preprocessing techniques were used for the image enhancement. Out of that, the linear contrast adjustment found to be best in image enhancement. A feature vector was calculated by extracting six different features from the enhanced image. The feature vector of an image is input to the machine learning classifier. The various classifiers used in this research work are SVM, KNN, ANN and PNN. The accuracy of the classifiers was SVM (0.98), KNN (0.89), ANN (0.89) and PNN (0.86). From the result, it is found SVM model has higher rate in classification of soil.
