The topic is given importance as such amateur videos have been becoming very famous among Malayalee audience. The Malayalam amateur video trend on YouTube has paved its way and a lot of people have started noticing this. Though these videos lack in a lot of aspects they are a huge success. The researcher is keen on finding reasons as to how and why these videos gain so much attention. The researcher also wishes to find the audience perspective towards such videos and their opinion about the same. The levels unto which people gain publicity through such videos are remarkable. It also creates an impact on the minds of the viewers. The creators of such videos have a lot of expectations in mind when they create such videos which may or may not be fulfilled. Two songs are taken up by the researcher and a detailed study is done on the same. Quantitative data collection method is followed. The study is supported by a questionnaire which is distributed to 80 respondents. The creators of such amateur videos have gained so much popularity. This raises a lot of questions whether such videos will be still appreciated and encouraged in the future even after so much of criticisms. The researcher wishes to unveil the answers to such questions.

A study of mediating factors influencing student motivation and behaviour: A literature review
Description
An account of the resource
This study aims to examine the mediating factors of learning environment, technology, good behaviour, and effective communication, sports, media, problem-based case study, and psychological influence on student motivation and behaviour. The study employs secondary data based on peer-reviewed articles, conference papers, and books collected from a variety of sources such as Scopus, WoS, J-Store, EBSCO, ProQuest, etc. between 1982 and 2022. The 103 articles have been selected based on the keywords which related to study. The results evidenced that the mediating factors have a significant positive impact on student motivation and behaviour. This study contributes to the existing literature by providing a com- prehensive understanding of the relationship between the mediating factors and student motivation and behaviour. The findings of this study have implications for educational institutions, policy makers, and educators in creating effective learning environments that can enhance student motivation and behaviour. 2023, IGI Global. This dissertation concentrates on the study of metaphors in the first four Harry Potter novels. Written by J K Rowling, the novels with the powerful tool of ??magic turn common, ??real themes and things into something delightful and engaging. The dissertation aims to analyze this merging and argues that it is through the metaphors present in these four novels that such a blend is possible.
Through a textual analysis of the first four Harry Potter novels, Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the dissertation first shows that these novels contain characteristics of magic realism fiction. The considerations of these characteristics or features verify the presence of magic and reality in the novels.
Following which, the dissertation corroborates that the presence of magic and reality, the fusion of these two elements are possible through an extensive use of metaphors. The arguments are primarily developed with the support of vivid examples from all the four texts.
The metaphors explored are divided into two major categories; human and non-human. Both the categories, established in different chapters, demonstrate that they are functional is merging the elements of magic and reality.
The magic in reality and the real in the magical can be comprehended, analyzing the use of metaphors. Evidencing which had been the purpose of this dissertation through a study of the first four Harry Potter novels.

The aim of the research is to study parenting behavior and children’s well-being in urban Indian families. Socialization, an important process in parent-child relationship is described as, ”the process by which a child or other novice acquires the knowledge, orientations, and practices that enable him / her to participate effectively and appropriately in the social life of a particular community” (Garret & Baquedano-Lopez, 2002, p. 339). Hence, socialization in the family is of crucial significance as it is the microcosm of society and has critical implications for the social and emotional development of the growing child. Parenting is a crucial process in family socialization. The word ‘parenting’ derives from the Latin verb ‘parere’ which means ‘to bring forth, develop or educate.’ Hoghughi, M. (2004) defines parenting as “purposive activities aimed at ensuring the survival and development of children.” It is of utmost importance to understand the dynamics of the parenting in varied cultures.

Indian cinema is an umbrella term used to refer to films made in different languages in India. Gujarati cinema is one of those lesser popular film industries which began in early twentieth century but today has lost its glory, popularity and grandeur. A dying film industry today, Gujarati films have been quiet popular among Gujaratis since its inception, yet there has been little or no study done to understand how these films have newlinerepresented and framed the culture of Gujarat. This thesis tries to investigate Gujarati cinema and explore some of the newlinedominant films of the golden era to see how it frames Gujarati culture through its history, folk lore, tales, and people in terms of their dress, dialect, celebrations, and other significant codes through select fifty films. The study makes an attempt to connect mise-en-scene of these films with newlineframing analysis to interrogate the way visuals have been prioritized in the films to accommodate/ideas depict any specific agenda/ideology. It is important to note that Gujarati cinema subtly but consistently shared the responsibility of restoring cultural symbols and stories within the film newlinenarrative especially post integration in 1960 to remind every Gujarati about his/her roots and work towards Gujarati asmita.

Digital microscopic blood smear images can get distorted due to the noise as a result of excessive staining during slide preparation or external factors during the acquisition of images. Noise in the image can affect the output of further steps in image processing and can have an impact on the accuracy of results. Hence, it is always better to denoise the image before feeding it to the automatic diagnostic system. There are many noise reduction filters available; the selection of the best filter is also very important. This paper presents a comparative study of some common spatial filters like wiener filter, bilateral filter, Gaussian filter, median filter and mean filter which are efficient in noise reduction, along with their summary and experimental results. We present the results of time-series photometric analysis of 15106 A-K type stars observed by the Kepler space mission. We identified 513 new rotational variables and measured their starspot rotation periods as a function of spectral type and discuss the distribution of their amplitudes. We examined the well-established period-color relationship that applies to stars of spectral types F5-K for all of these rotational variables and, interestingly, found that a similar period-color relationship appears to extend to stars of spectral types A7 to early-F too. This result is not consistent with the very foundation of the period-color relationship. We have characterized 350 new non-radial pulsating variables such as A- and F-type candidate ? Scuti, ? Doradus and hybrid stars, which increases the known candidate non-radial pulsators in the Kepler field significantly, by ?20%. The relationship between two recently constructed observables, Energy and Efficiency, was also studied for the large sample of non-radial pulsators, which shows that the distribution in the logarithm of Energy (log (En)) can be used as a potential tool to distinguish between the non-radial pulsators, to some extent. Through visual inspection of the light curves and their corresponding frequency spectra, we found 23 new candidate red giant solar-like oscillators not previously reported in the literature. The basic physical parameters such as masses, radii and luminosities of these solar-like oscillators were also derived using asteroseismic relations. 2018, The Author(s).

In many practical applications such as plastic manufacturing and the polymer industries, the temperature difference is substantially large as a result the density of the working fluid alters nonlinearly with temperature. Therefore, the nonlinear Boussinesq (NBA) approximation cannot be ignored, as it has a considerable impact on the flow and heat transport characteristics of the working fluid. Here, the non-Newtonian viscoelastic material flow driven by stretching of elastic sheet subjected to NBA and quadratic form of Rosseland thermal radiation is investigated. Two different heat source modulations, viz., exponential space-dependent heat source, and a temperature-related heat source are analyzed. The viscoelastic material obeys the quadratic Boussinesq approximation. The fluctuation of plate temperature is linear and the transpiration (plate mass suction) is also accounted. The Darcy law is employed for a porous medium. The dimensionless profiles of the velocity, heat transport rate, and temperature are simulated by solving the nonlinear two-point boundary value system by employing the finite difference-based routine. The significance of key parameters involved in the problem is studied on various flow fields via surface and streamline plots. It is found that the quadratic convection mechanism enhanced the Nusselt number; however, the quadratic thermal radiation aspect reduced the Nusselt number. The higher velocities are captured in the case of quadratic thermal convection as compared with its absence. Whereas this trend is quite opposite for the thermal field. The velocity of viscoelastic material positively correlated with the viscoelastic material parameter. Further, the outcome of this investigation helps in determining the key parameters which facilitate the desired heat transport rate. 2021 Elsevier Ltd

The annual growth rate of Retail sector in India is 46.64 percent. Over the past few years, the Retail sales in India are covering around 30 ?? 35 percent of GDP compared to around 20 percent in US. In the last few years immense growth by this sector was witnessed, the key factors were changing consumer profile and demographics, increase in number of international brand in Indian market, economic implications of the Government increasing urbanization, credit availability, improvement in the infrastructure, increasing investment in technology and real estate building world class environment for consumers.
The consumer durables market can be divided into consumer electronics comprising of TV sets, audio systems, VCD players and others; and appliances like washing machine ,microwave ovens, air conditioners. The existing sector stands at an estimated US $ 4.5 Billion with organized retailing being at 5 percent.
Due to the growth of this sector and increased demand for the durables that is electronics the need was felt to know what are the customer expectations towards the electronic retail store so that the customers expectation gets fulfilled and this can improve the economic development as a whole. The study attempts to find the shoppers expectation towards retail service quality of electronic retail store in Bangalore.

In medical image processing, the segmentation of the image is considered to be a vital stage and is effectively used to extract the region of interest. Automated diagnosis of leukaemia is highly associated with the accurate segmentation of the cell nucleus. The purpose of this paper is to review and analyze literature related to some of the major segmentation techniques used in the field of Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) detection. This paper presents an overview of segmentation methods along with the experimental results of six implemented methods and highlights some of the advantages and disadvantages of implemented segmentation techniques. 2020 IEEE.

With the increased amount of algorithms for the path planning and collision avoidance of ASVs. The need for an unbiased protective path planning directs the need for decision in stochastic areas in the vast ocean for cargo ship. Autonomous surface vehicles should take appropriate decision on the path according to the dynamic environment and the obstacle that is before them. In some cases, environment, time, and size should be considered to acquire the fastest path and methods that could be suited for collision avoidance. This paper investigates the need for a well-known path planning method that has handled the situation based on the dynamic properties of the vehicle in the ocean. The simulated result shows a slight variation in their proposed path in terms of time and collision in terms of size. Therefore, using a realistic approach of the A* algorithm and the RRT*, we can handle the scenario of dynamic environment. Education in ancient India in its traditional form was closely related to religion and was limited to a very small section of Indian society. Ancient education in India followed an oral tradition, which laid stress on memory. Subjects like arts and sciences related to government: politics, economics, philosophy, and historical traditions were taught (Thapar, 2002). With the arrival of Islam in India, the traditional methods of education underwent a change. Islamic institutions of education in India taught grammar, philosophy, mathematics, and law influenced by the Greek traditions inherited by Persia and the Middle East, before Islam spread from these regions into India. A feature of this traditional Islamic education was its emphasis on the connection between science and humanities.
