This research investigates the application of robust estimators within the finite distributed lag model (DLM), a critical framework in finance research capturing temporal dependencies between lagged explanatory variables and a response variable. Traditional Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) estimation faces challenges when dealing with high lag counts, multicollinearity, and outliers, potentially compromising parameter estimates and model reliability. Employing real-world data from the RBI, spanning the years 20222023 encompassing budgetary and economic variables of Indian states and Union Territories, the study demonstrates that the MMS estimator emerges as the most efficient estimator, showcasing enhanced robustness against outliers and multicollinearity. Additionally, the study reveals positive autocorrelation in residuals, underscoring the importance of robust methods in addressing such issues in financial modeling. This research contributes valuable insights to financial analysts and offers a more accurate understanding of dynamic relationships in financial systems. Job Satisfaction Among Health-Care Practitioners: A Bibliometric Analysis

Purpose: The study aims to throw light on job satisfaction among health-care practitioners based on the metadata of published literature from Scopus database with the help of bibliometric analysis. Design/methodology/approach: Metadata of 6,998 publications from the Scopus database were extracted. Bibliometric analysis was done with country-based co-authorship analysis, all keywords-based co-occurrence analysis, sources-based citation analysis, cited authors-based co-citation analysis, and term co-occurrence based on text data. Findings: It was found that United States had the highest number of publications at 2,037. The Journal Of Nursing Management had the highest number of publications (332). Term co-occurrence based on text data reveals that job satisfaction, turnover intention, work engagement, compassion fatigue, job stress, organizational commitment, job demand, job performance, workplace violence, job burnout, career satisfaction, safety climate, organizational support, transformational leadership, leadership style, discrimination, workplace bullying, and job strain are the most prominent terms. The paper also highlights the factors affecting job satisfaction of employees in the health-care sector. Conclusion: The paper tries to highlight the publication trends on the job satisfaction among health-care practitioners. Electronic healthcare has changed the traditional form of medical treatment. The integrated approach of interconnected devices had enhanced the process of record keeping and dissemination, benefitting Doctors, patients, and other stakeholders. This study aims to highlight the research carried out in the field of electronic healthcare from the year 2011 to 2020. Metadata of 821 publications from Scopus database was extracted and analyzed. VOS viewer was used to generate the network diagrams and link strengths. It was found that Harvard Medical School and European Commission were the top publication affiliation and funder, respectively. United Stated dominated with the maximum number of publications till 2017 but was surpassed by publications from India from 2018 onwards. Publications inclined toward Internet of things, network security, retrospective study, and authentication toward the end of this decade indicating the shift in trend for the future. 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Probability of Medication Adherence When Alarm Is Used as a Reminder

The main objective of this research is to find the effect of alarm as a form of reminder in improving medication adherence rate. Medication non-adherence is a problem that adversely impacts patients' health, finances, and longevity. Several factors are associated with medication non-adherence. This research uses the method of probability estimates, risk difference, relative risk, and odds ratio to analyze the probability of an increase in medication adherence among patients who use the alarm as a form of reminder. By clustered sampling and a structured questionnaire, 525 responses were obtained from patients suffering from different types of diseases in the state of Sikkim, India. It has been observed that using the alarm as a form of reminder significantly improves adherence rates. The odds of not missing a dose reduces to 49.3%. At a personal level, the chance of not missing the dose reduces by 32.6%, and if the total population is considered, 16.4% of people will not skip the dose if a reminder in the form of an alarm is used. 2022 International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare. Patients often fail to comply with the instructions given by their physicians. They miss the timing, forget, neglect, or procrastinate taking their medication. This deteriorates the health and causes financial burden to the patient and family. Reminders have been successfully used in many phases of day-to-day activities, increasing the efficiency and productivity. This paper tries to identify the relationship between reminder and the perception of importance of medication based on 15 different factors. These factors have been further assessed to find their relationship with adherence of medication. Hence, with a two-way approach, the studies use exploratory factor analysis method to identify the latent factors, and these latent factors have been used to find the correlation between reminder and adherence through confirmatory factor analysis. It was found that there is positive and significant correlation between reminder and the latent factors and also between the latent factors and adherence. 2022 IGI Global. All rights reserved.

The construction industry is a crucial sector that drives economic growth and facilitates socio-economic development. However, construction projects often get delayed due to multiple controllable and uncontrollable circumstances. In this scenario, the construction industry is striving for potential solutions to resolve project delays. Thus, the present study objectives to analyze the delay factors that affect the timely accomplishment of construction projects in the context of emerging economies. The study adopts a mixed methodology comprising of Delphi, Total Interpretive Structural Modelling (TISM) and Matrice d' Impacts Croises Multiplication Applique a Classement (MICMAC) method to model the identified delay factors. A Delphi analysis was conducted to finalize the most crucial delay factors to the on-time completion of building projects. The causal relationships and expert interpretations for each identified delay factor were then determined using multi-criteria decision analysis, TISM and MICMAC analysis. The study results highlight that lack of knowledge of newer construction methodologies and lack of project monitoring tools and techniques are positioned at the bottom level of model, which suggests that this delay factor influences others. The study results will help managers resolve the issues of project delays by selecting the most suitable approach. The findings from the study suggest adopting advanced technologies for effective communication, use of analytical tools for resource allocation and waste-scrapping approaches for eliminating delays in construction projects. Unemployment is one of the major issues in modern times. High unemployment rates affect a country's economic growth, mental wellbeing of an individual and his/her family members, and create unrest in society. Vocational training is one of the most crucial elements in the competitive and developing world. Through the provision of real-world experience, vocational training aids in developing skills. This study aims to highlight the aspirations of the people of Sikkim concerning vocational training and find its challenges and hindrances. With the help of a structured questionnaire, responses were taken from the youth of Sikkim, India and their perception about opting for different vocational training courses were taken. Upon analyzing the data, it was found that males are more inclined towards cooking and baking classes, repair of mobiles, laptops and other electronic accessories, and repair of bikes and automobiles. Females, on the other hand, wanted to focus on makeup and beautician courses, jewelry design, floriculture, and towards repair of mobile and computers. 2023, IGI Global.

Green supply chain concept is used to reduce environmental degradation and emissions of air, water, and waste by incorporating green practices into business operations. Growing impacts of global warming, climate change, waste, and air pollution problems have prompted experts all over the world to think more environment friendly and find the best possible approach for "Green" solutions. green supply chain management is one of the factors that motivates organizations to be more sustainable. This study focuses on the green supply chain management in the auto parts industry in South Indian. Data from three green initiatives: recyclable packaging, green warehouse management and milk run approach for logistics is taken and compared with nongreen approaches. It is found that there is significant reduction in costs by adopting the green approaches. Perception about inventory management and control at quick service restaurants
Description

India's quick service restaurant market has expanded significantly in recent years. For small-scale QSRs, inventory management continues to be an essential challenge. Inventory management enhances the efficiency of business operations by influencing the stockpile and supply of essential products and materials. The research aims to highlight the importance of inventory control and management in QSRs. Primary data was collected from 120 operational QSRs in Bangalore in Karnataka and 30 from Kottayam in Kerala. It was found that most of the respondents felt that proper inventory management and control could help to improve their service quality and help to reduce costs. It has been found that the factors service, savings, and risk have a strong positive correlation with inventory cost. Several techniques and strategies like techniques for cooking with no waste, menu planning with fewer ingredients, networks for local sourcing, matching demand and supply through seasonal planning have been identified to increase the performance of QSRs. 2024, IGI Global. In this thesis, the boundary-layer flows of Newtonian fluids in different geometries newlineprimarily, a horizontal surface and a vertical surface. To account for the imperfections arising in realistic scenarios, we have considered a horizontal surface with undulations and a vertical surface with a non-uniform temperature distribution. Additionally, it is wellknown that to meet the cooling rate requirements in the industry, the thermal performance of ordinary heat transfer fluids is not suitable. The concept of insertion of nanometresized metallic particles in the fluid leads to an increase in the thermal conductivity of the newlineordinary base liquids. Therefore, to fully comprehend the affect of these nanoparticles on the onset of convection and fluid motions and to assess how the enhanced thermophysical newlineproperties may affect the heat transfer is another key objective of this research. newlineA Comparative Study of Thermo-convective Flows of a Newtonian Fluid over Three newlineHorizontal Undulated Surfaces in a Porous Medium In the first problem of this thesis, elaborated in Chapter 5, a comparison has been presented between the results of three thermoconvective flows of a Newtonian fluid over uniformly heated, undulated horizontal surfaces in a porous medium against the background of the results of a flat plate. The undulations are assumed to have sinusoidal, sawtooth, and triangular waveforms. At large surface amplitudes, secondary flow is observed in the cases newlineof sinusoidal and triangular waveforms, but not in the cases of a sawtooth surface and a newlineflat plate. The variation of the mean Nusselt number and mean skin friction with surface newlineamplitude and the Rayleigh number indicate that heat transfer and viscous friction at the boundary increase with individual and collective increases in the values of the amplitude and the Rayleigh number. The heat transfer and skin friction by the flat surface are much less than that of all three undulated surfaces.

For difficult optimization issues, metaheuristic algorithms are effective methods for obtaining workable solutions quickly. In the past few years, continuous efforts have been put forward by researchers to develop new effective and robust metaheuristic algorithms for solving engineering optimization problems. The research aims to find the advancements made in multi-objective optimization and metaheuristic algorithms. Metadata of 4149 articles were extracted from Scopus from the year 2000 onward and bibliometric analysis was done with the help of the VOSviewer software. It was found that Mirjalili. S. has the highest number of citations (4011). IEEE Access has published the maximum number of documents (128), the University of Tehrans School of Industrial Engineering has contributed the most in this field of research (43 documents), and China has the most contribution among all the countries with 977 documents. In recent years, the terms optimization algorithms, exploration and exploitation, learning systems, decision-making, uncertainty analysis, sustainable development, supply chains, neural networks, forecasting, machine learning, and cloud computing are being mostly used by researchers. 2026 by Apple Academic Press, Inc.

This study examines the potential of ChatGPT v4.0 for stock market analysis, particularly within the Indian stock market. The research uses prompt engineering to assess ChatGPT's ability to recommend stocks, construct portfolios, provide fundamental analysis, and understand price movements. The study combines sentiment analysis of news data with historical price data to forecast future price movements. Results demonstrate ChatGPT's effectiveness in identifying investment opportunities and providing insights for decision- making. The study also evaluates the accuracy of ChatGPTs predictions, finding an 88.89% accuracy rate based on news sentiment analysis and a 94% accuracy rate when integrating sentiment analysis with historical price data. Despite limitations, including constraints in handling large datasets, ChatGPT exhibits promise for supporting investors in the Indian stock market. Through ensemble and deep learning methodologies, the study seeks to autonomously scrutinize data from each device to improve accuracy and resilience in activity identification. The methodology adopted entails the utilization of distinct models for data derived from smartphones and smart glasses, as opposed to amalgamating attributes, to acquire distinctive insights into user activities. The study outcomes demonstrated promising results, showcasing elevated precision in activity recognition across various machine learning models. Start ups face multiple challenges since inception and it is their response to these challenges that decides their success or failure. This case study examines the challenges of an EPC firm working in the field of alternative energy. It hopes to show that while initial growth may follow the path drawn by the entrepreneur, a point is reached when options for future growth inevitably face a dilemma. On the one hand getting investors to bring in funds is difficult in the absence of an order book for projects. On the other hand getting firms to give it project orders without the support of funds is also equally challenging. This is a turning point and the future of the firm depends on how it is able to surmount this challenge. However during the course of its journey the firm gets a foothold in the market and based on its unique competencies builds up a strategic position which can be exploited by a bigger player in the segment. This is in line with the Resource Based View of mergers and acquisitions that holds that gaining competitive advantage is the primary motive for an acquisition. The case follows the story of entrepreneur Deb who set up Streamline Energy, an EPC firm in 2015-16 in Navi Mumbai hoping to carve out a slice of the market in the growing field of alternative energy. 2020 Ecological Society of India. Human rights and environmental protections are often violated as a consequence of development activities. In addition to harming the environment, this increases the marginalisation of those who are already marginalised. The development paradigm that is based on the interests of the majority not only tends to retard the indigenous people but also renders them incapable of competing with the majority. For the indigenous people, development has always been a problem rather than a solution. Development initiatives under the umbrella of globalisation with a label of monotony, ignore the aspects of the diverse livelihoods of many indigenous peoples. The Niti Aayog proposed in its vision document, the Sustainable Development of Little Andaman, in 2021, that the island should be developed into a megacity by utilising its natural features and strategic location. The long-term objective is to develop the island into a major financial tourism hub that can rival Hong Kong and Singapore. This plan will, on the one hand, advance commerce, employment, and economic growth; on the other hand, environmental conservation issues will also arise. Concerns over this vision document have indeed been voiced by several academics, environmentalists, and conservationists due to issues with Onge indigenous rights, ecological fragility, and earthquake and tsunami susceptibility. In this context, the research article aims to study and analyse the proposed megacity project and its impact on the rights of Onge tribes and the environment.
