Characterizations of some parity signed graphs
We describe parity labellings of signed graphs: equivalently, cuts of the underlying graph that have nearly equal sides. We characterize the bal-anced signed graphs which are parity signed graphs. We give structural characterizations of all parity signed stars, bistars, cycles, paths and com-plete bipartite graphs. The rna number of a graph is the smallest cut size that has nearly equal sides; we find this for a few classes of graphs. The author(s). -

This study offers a new synchronized practice area door array (FPGAs), to minimize electricity usage. Concurrent bit-serial architecture is shown in the figure to minimize energy consumption and timing synchronization of switching structures. Researchers offer a fine-grained energy control system with each Look-up database to minimize the Static energy by the channel length, which is now equivalent to the dynamical one (LUT). Insinuating cocktailed components in biocompatible-nanoparticles could act as an impressive neo-adjuvant strategy to combat COVID-19
The novel Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) spread, freezes all sectors, and was declared as a life-threatening disease by the World Health Organization on Jan 30, 2020. So far, no specific drugs are identified or approved for treating SARS-CoV-2. In the past few years, nanomaterials are in the limelight for their ability to deliver the drugs effectively and selectively like siRNA to target/prime infection sites, and benefits us to visualize the particular regions, treatment reactions via non-intruding imaging techniques. As intranasal delivery interacts directly to the infection site with minimal side effects on the healthy cell, we postulate to administer a mixture of few polyherbal formulations like the golden spice curcumin, sitopaladi churna (SPC), and kaempferol in zein-chitosan nanoparticles as a life-saving measure for treating Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases. Adaptive Fault-Tolerant System and Optimal Power Allocation for Smart Vehicles in Smart Cities Using Controller Area Network
Nowadays, the power consumption and dependable repeated data collection are causing the main issue for fault or collision in controller area network (CAN), which has a great impact for designing autonomous vehicle in smart cities. Whenever a smart vehicle is designed with several sensor nodes, Internet of Things (IoT) modules are linked through CAN for reliable transmission of a message for avoiding collision, but it is failed in communication due to delay and collision in communication of message frame from a source node to the destination. Generally, the emerging role of IoT and vehicles has undoubtedly brought a new path for tomorrow's cities. The method proposed in this paper is used to gain fault-tolerant capability through Probabilistic Automatic Repeat Request (PARQ) and also Probabilistic Automatic Repeat Request (PARQ) with Fault Impact (PARQ-FI), in addition to providing optimal power allocation in CAN sensor nodes for enhancing the performance of the process and also significantly acting a role for making future smart cities. Elementary Methods for Generating Three-Dimensional Coordinate Estimation and Image Reconstruction from Series of Two-Dimensional Images
The increase in computational power in recent years has opened a new door for image processing techniques. Three-dimensional object recognition, identification, pose estimation, and mapping are becoming popular. The need for real-world objects to be mapped into three-dimensional spatial representation is greatly increasing, especially considering the heap jump we obtained in the past decade in virtual reality and augmented reality. This paper discusses an algorithm to convert an array of captured images into estimated 3D coordinates of their external mappings. Elementary methods for generating three-dimensional models are also discussed. This framework will help the community in estimating three-dimensional coordinates of a convex-shaped object from a series of two-dimension images. Formulation and Characterization of Plant, Animal, and Probiotic Based Fish Meals and Evaluating their Efficacy on Growth and Performance in zebrafish (Danio rerio)
A comparative analysis on the effects of plant based (PD), animal based (AD) and probiotic based (PrD) diets on growth performance in Danio rerio was investigated. Different diets were administered as either single or combination diet (CD) containing PD, AD and PrD exhibited varying effects on growth and development. The probiotic bacteria isolated from Indian prawn (Penaeus indicus) was identified as Bacillus sp using 16s rRNA sequencing and phylogenetic analysis. The isolate was characterized by evaluating its ability to survive at different pH, temperature and simulated artificial gastric environment and was further subjected to varying concentrations of salt and organic solvents. Antibiofilm activity of the isolate was evaluated against fish pathogens; Vibrio harveyi (96.12.7%), Escherichia coli (96.21.5 %,), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (95.33.0%) and Staphylococcus aureus (96.72.8%). After the end of trail period, growth parameters were evaluated. Weight gain percentage was significantly higher in PrD (15.70.08 %) compared to other treatments. (p<0.05). Feed conversion ratio was least in CD (0.350.09) and feed efficiency (2.70.08) in CD was numerically high compared to other treatments. (p>0.05).The study promotes sustainable aquaculture by the use of alternative aqua feeds derived from plant or animal based sources. A Systematic Review on e-Wastage Frameworks
The electronic devices that are targeted to the end users have become day to day essential parts. Traditional methodologies have changed drastically resulting in efficient mode of communication and fast information retrieval. As the demand and the production are exponentially growing, patterns of sales, storage and their destruction and then again, their collection have also been changed. This paper analyses many such behaviors of (electronic) waste management and recommends solutions like recycling management, different directives and policies required to be followed. Authors have emphasized on providing substantial information that can be useful to the regulating authorities responsible for waste management or the manufacturers of various electronic products and then the policy makers. With an extensive review of electronic wastages, authors have emphasized three variables (sales, stock and lifespan) for replacing/upgrading the older products with advanced versions. The root causes of electronic wastages are found in industrializing countries like India, China, Vietnam, Pakistan, the Philippines, Ghana and Nigeria whereas industrialized countries also play equally important role for its generation. This paper signifies the importance of e-waste management practice to reduce the emerging electronic waste hazards. Authors focus on todays demand of electronic devices, importance of e-waste management and management practices. The paper recommends key findings based on surveying data regarding the lack of regulation to manage the e-waste. Secured and Provisioned Access Authentication using Subscribed User Identity in Federated Clouds
Cloud computing has become an essential source for modern trade or market environments by abled frameworks. The exponential growth of cloud computing services in the last few years has resulted in extensive use, especially in storing and sharing the data on various cloud servers. The current trend in the cloud shows that the cloud owners use relative functions and target areas in such a way that cloud customers access or store their data either in the same servers or related servers. Simultaneously, from the security point of view, the lack of confidence about the customer's data on the cloud server is still questionable. The hour's need is to provide the cloud service in a single port way by forming the joint management policy to increase customer satisfaction and profitability. In addition to this, the authentication steps also need to be improvised. This paper discusses issues on the security authentication and access provisioning of the cloud service consumers in federated clouds using subscribed user identity. This work proposes the user identity verification module (UidVM) in the cloud service consumer's authentication process to serve as a cloud broker to minimize the work overloads on the central cloud federation management system, thus enhancing the cloud security. 2021. A Psychoanalytical Deconstruction of Surpanakha in Kavita Kane's Lanka's Princess
This paper endeavours to examine the character Surpanakha in Kavita Kane's novel Lanka's Princess. It attempts to critically follow her struggle in the androcentric space with the trapping of being a female. Breaking down her identity as a daughter, sister, wife and more specifically, as an individual, it tracks down the formulation of her own self-perception in order to reinterpret her femininity. Through the psychoanalytical lenses, this work also critically analyses her 'repression, rage and revenge' by connecting the dots in her journey that shape her personality. The giving of voice to the 'unvoiced' through revisionist myth making in the novel and the evolution of 'Surpanakha' from 'Meenakshi' due to her experiences in the oppressive and suffocating environment is the focal point of the paper. Influence of Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response on Relaxation States: An Experimental Study
Multiple studies have stated that autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) induces relaxation. ASMR is defined as a static tingling-like sensation across the scalp and back of the head, experienced by some people in response to specific audio and visual triggers like tapping, whispering, and slow hand movements. This study explores the relaxation states and the stress states on which ASMR videos have the highest impact. Data from 60 college students with a mean age of 22 years and a standard deviation of 1.12 were collected for this study, among which 30 were assigned to an experimental group and 30 were assigned to a control group single blindly. The relaxation states and stress states were measured using Smith Relaxation Scale Inventory (SRSI) for the pretest and Smith Relaxation Posttest Inventory (SRPI) for the posttest. The experimental group watched an ASMR video, and the control group watched a neutral video between the pretest and posttest. SPSS version 16 was used for data analysis. SUSTAINABLE TOURISM PRACTICES: A PERCEPTION of BACKWATER TOURISM DESTINATIONS in SOUTH KERALA, INDIA
The Tourism Industry in South Kerala focuses more on Houseboat Tourism and Backwater Tourism. The unique, natural features set this destination apart from nearby places, as backwater destinations are rich in numerous natural resources. The sustainable development of these resources will highly enhance the livelihood of the communities in the backwater regions. They will be able to attract tourists seeking unique backwater experiences. Therefore, this article intends to comprehend the stakeholders' perceptions on Sustainable Tourism Development in the backwater destinations of South Kerala in India. A total of 277 respondents participated in the research and the study adopted a quantitative research design, while considering the influence of various factors on the Economic, Social and Environmental Sustainability. The data gathered from the study illustrated that the perception of stakeholders about Sustainable Tourism Development varied across different groups. Hence, all the stakeholders in the Tourism Industry need to work together, as this coordination will help to strengthen future development plans, in order to minimize the negative impacts of tourism in the backwater destinations of South Kerala. Self-Discrepancy as a Moderator Between Romantic Attachment and Body Image Satisfaction
Body image satisfaction is about appreciating our body the way it is. One's romantic attachment style with their partner may impact their body image which this study wants to assess. The present study looks at romantic attachment and its effect on body image satisfaction, with self-discrepancy playing the moderator's role. Romantic attachment was measured through avoidance and anxiety dimensions along with trust, commitment, intimacy, physical proximity, support, and partner's suggestions on dressing and looks. Individuals in the age group of 18-25 in a romantic relationship (N=170) were sent an online questionnaire. The questionnaire included scales on body image satisfaction, self-discrepancy and romantic attachment. Correlations results revealed that attachment styles and specifiers of romantic relationships correlate highly with body satisfaction. Regression results indicated a high impact with attachment-related emerging as the single most impactful predictor for the model. The findings from the study can be used by individual and couple therapists dealing with romantic and body image concerns. In a period where romantic relationships are becoming very important in young adults' lives, this study probes into the possibility of romantic relationships affecting body image issues. Studies in the past have given more importance to body image dissatisfaction and parental attachment but this study looks at body satisfaction along with romantic attachment. Functional response, host stage preference and development of Rhynocoris fuscipes (Fab.) (Heteroptera: Reduviidae) for two cotton pests
Considering the indispensable role of reduviid predators in ecofriendly pest management programme, the relationship between a predatory reduviid, Rhynocoris fuscipes, and three prey species viz., red cotton bug Dysdercus koenigii Fab. (Heteroptera: Pyrrhocoridae), cotton mealybug Phenacoccus solenopsis (Tinsley) (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) and rice flour moth Corcyra cephalonica Stainton (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae), were scrutinized and studied to determine the influence of host species on biology, host stage preference and biological control efficiency under laboratory conditions. Rhynocoris fuscipes completed nymphal stage in 41 days when feeding on C. cephalonica, 45 on D. koenigii, and 50 days on P. solenopsis. Adult longevity, fecundity and egg viability were higher in C. cephalonica fed category and the lowest on P. solenopsis. Life table parameters were in favor of C. cephalonica. Third instars of D. koenigii were favored by third and fourth instars of the predator. Fifth instars and adults of the predator had chosen fourth and fifth instars of D. koenigii, respectively. All instars of predator preyed on adults of P. solenopsis. It is observed that the reduviid responded to increased D. koenigii and P. solenopsis density with type II functional response. Early Identification and Detection of Driver Drowsiness by Hybrid Machine Learning
Drunkenness or exhaustion is a leading cause of car accidents, with severe implications for road safety. More fatal accidents could be avoided if fatigued drivers were warned ahead of time. Several drowsiness detection technologies to monitor for signs of inattention while driving and notifying the driver can be adopted. Sensors in self-driving cars must detect if a driver is sleepy, angry, or experiencing extreme changes in their emotions, such as anger. These sensors must constantly monitor the driver's facial expressions and detect facial landmarks in order to extract the driver's state of expression presentation and determine whether they are driving safely. As soon as the system detects such changes, it takes control of the vehicle, immediately slows it down, and alerts the driver by sounding an alarm to make them aware of the situation. The proposed system will be integrated with the vehicle's electronics, tracking the vehicle's statistics and providing more accurate results. In this paper, we have implemented real-time image segmentation and drowsiness using machine learning methodologies. In the proposed work, an emotion detection method based on Support Vector Machines (SVM) has been implemented using facial expressions. The algorithm was tested under variable luminance conditions and outperformed current research in terms of accuracy. We have achieved 83.25 % to detect the facial expression change. 2013 IEEE. -
In silico Analysis of Stigmasterol from Saraca asoca as a Potential Therapeutic Drug Against Alzheimers Disease
Improvements and advances in health care over the past few decades have increased life expectancy and quality of life. However, this has resulted in an increase in non-communicable diseases like dementia, Alzheimers Disease (AD), etc. AD most commonly affects the older population, but recent studies reveal that it can also affect people of any age group. As of now, there are no accessible treatments or therapies that reverse the progression of the disease. The few existing medications to treat AD include Donepezil (Aricept), Galantamine (Razadyne) and Rivastigmine (Exelon) provide only temporary relief and come with several side effects like diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, fatigue, insomnia, loss of appetite, and weight loss. An effective and augmenting therapy with Cholinesterase inhibitors from natural products is gaining popularity among researchers. Plant sterols have been known to play roles in inhibiting proteins implicated in the development of AD. The present study highlights the significance and scope of Stigmasterol, a phytochemical in Saraca asoca in the alleviation of AD. AI Diagnosis: Rise of AI-Powered Assessments in Modern Education Systems
The literature on the limitations on the current archaic education system is limitless, the consequences of which have only been exacerbated in the current lockdown scenario. The timed evaluations have not only failed as an assessment tool during these times but research has shown there are increased rates of using unfair means and proctoring as a result. Not only was the system faulty to begin with, it is failing miserably under current lockdown situations. Simultaneously the current literature keeps positing that since technology has become an integral part of our life already, it would not be long before technology integrates with education and assessments. Taking into consideration the need and potential of an integrative system, this paper aims to explore how artificial intelligence can be effectively introduced into education and improve learning outcomes. The paper performs a Comprehensive Literature Review (CLR), and analyses data based on the framework developed by Onwuegbuzie and Frels (2015). The paper thus reviews literature with the aim to explore current models of AIEd and relevant psychological concepts relating to learning and career outcomes. The evidence is consistence with the rationale for research problem: current AI methodologies in education focus only on delivering learning material, using AI as a means, instead of taking into other factors improving learning and education outcomes. Optimal order quantity with endogenous discounted partial advance payment and trade-credit for inventory model with linear time varying demand
When buyers seek extended credit periods from relatively less secure suppliers, the supplier requires co-operation from the buyer for purchase of raw materials, etc., in terms of partial advance payment. For a single buyer single supplier supply chain, we develop an inventory model with a hybrid payment policy combining discounted advance payment to supplier with the supplier permitting interest free delay period to the buyer when buyer has the option to make advance payment. For the advance, supplier offers discount and may allow the buyer to set the discount rate and the advance proportion. For a linear demand function in such a scenario, we maximise buyer's net profit rate through optimal choice of payment policy and the buyer's replenishment. We consider two situations with discount: 1) exogenous; 2) endogenous for the buyer. Optimal solution is characterised theoretically. Numerical example reveals that by choosing advance proportion appropriately, the profit rate in the endogenous case can be higher than that in the exogenous case even with lower discount. 2021 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd..
