Cultivating wellness: Synergy of emerging technologies in spiritual and wellness tourism
This academic analysis explores the dynamic landscape of wellness tourism from 1998 to September 2021, emphasizing the surge in scholarly publications post-2010, primarily contributed by the United States. Key findings identify major authors, significant papers, and evolving trends while acknowledging research limitations and offering recommendations. Additionally, the 2022 study highlights 10 pivotal elements enriching holistic health resorts, coupled with strategic marketing and DMO influence. A comprehensive review utilizing the PRISMA methodology reveals two significant research clusters, focusing on tourist motivations and behavior, anticipating post-pandemic research and the need for diverse data sources. Wellness tourism embodies dynamism and diversity, driven by an ever-growing yearning for well-being, relaxation, and self-care. Travelers can choose from a broad spectrum of dimensions and destinations to personalize their wellness journeys according to their unique aspirations and goals, making it an exceptionally adaptable and customized form of travel. The industry's trajectory is set for continued expansion and transformation as more individuals acknowledge the paramount importance of nurturing their holistic well-being. However, a notable research gap is identified: the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies like wearable technology, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence in wellness tourism remains underexplored. Cultivating self-esteem: Exploring the intersection of culture, neurocognition, and behavior among female media professionals
This study employed a comprehensive research strategy utilizing both online and offline methodologies to gather insights from 278 female media professionals in Karnataka. The survey, conducted from May 2023 to October 2023, encompassed a substantial timeframe, allowing for a thorough data collection process and the observation of potential variations over the months. The self-esteem scale and workplace communication behaviour inventory scale were employed for the data collection. All correlations were statistically significant affirming the reliability of these associations. This paper examines the potential of cloud computing to revolutionize the Indian agricultural sector, government operations, and rural connectivity. It highlights the benefits and challenges associated with cloud computing in agriculture and proposes a structured model to implement it effectively. Cloud computing allows farmers to access real-time information, make informed decisions, and improve access to markets. The paper examines the difficulties and advantages of cloud computing for the government in transitioning to a cloud-based version of itself for its operations. Additionally, it draws attention to specific areas related to the agricultural sector in India and certain applications offered by the government to enhance the consumer experience for stakeholders. The Government of India has demonstrated its commitment to developing technology-driven agriculture through e-NAM, Kisan Suvidha, and Agri-market initiatives. However, some challenges must be addressed to ensure the successful adoption of cloud computing in the agricultural sector. The proposed implementation model outlines the essential stages of the process, including the needs assessment, the selection of cloud providers, the automation of workflow, the modernization of applications, the implementation of security measures, and the implementation of continuous improvement. The model emphasizes the importance of training, feedback mechanisms, and collaboration. Furthermore, the paper underscores the need for a specific feedback system and grievance redress for agricultural cloud applications to enhance user experiences. Cuda implementation of non-local means algorithm for GPU processors
Non-Local Means algorithm (NLM) is a prominent image denoising algorithm. One of the major limitations of NLM algorithm and its variants is the time requirement. In this era of high performance computing, an efficient alternative to reduce the time complexity of any algorithm is its parallelization. In this paper, a parallelized version of basic NLM algorithm using CUDA architecture is proposed. The algorithm is developed on NVIDIA GeForce 940M GPU which follows Maxwell architecture with 3 SMs and 384 CUDA cores. Experiments are carried out using selected set of natural and medical images of various sizes. Our proposed parallelized version of NLM algorithm reduces the time requirement approximately by 50% in comparison to its basic version and also achieves comparable denoising performance in terms of PSNR, SSIM and FSIM evaluation metrics. Cubic spline curve public key cryptography
In this work, a cubic spline curve is considered for Asymmetric mode encrypting data. A Cubicspline curve is used to generate a set of points under initial known boundary conditions. This set of points is considered as generator points. Given the field, known the generator points, considering for some time and space steps and for a considered private key, Public key will be generated based on Discrete Logarithm problem. Thus for a set of public and private keys, data can be transmitted securely with features like Authenticity of users, Security & Confidentiality of data transmitted. Going by the construction of the algorithm, Encryption is being done on blocks of data for which it consumes less computing resources. Going by complexity of the algorithm, the key length needed is about 120 bit lengths to provide sufficient strengths against cryptoanalysis. 2017 Taru Publications. -

Cu/Pd bimetallic supported on mesoporous TiO2 for suzuki coupling reaction
Generally bimetallic catalysts are more superior to monometallic catalysts and provide a better platform for the development of novel catalysts with enhanced activity, selectivity, and stability. In the current work we have prepared Cu/Pd bimetallic supported on mesoporous TiO2 by hydrothermal method. The prepared system was characterized by various physico-chemical techniques such as XRD, TG-DTG, SEM, EDAX, BJH isotherm, and XPS. Thermal stability and complete electronic structure were identified from TG and XPS measurements respectively. The bimetallic system was found to be very active in Suzuki cross-coupling reaction using different substrates. The products were separated and purified by column chromatography and the resultant products were characterized thoroughly by 1H NMR, and FT-IR analysis. Copyright 2018 BCREC Group. CSR as an agent of financial stability: A use case of banking industry
The study was undertaken to examine the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as an agent to improve the firm's performance and financial stability by enhancing goodwill and competitive advantage in the Indian banking industry. In the study, it has been hypothesized that CSR expenses have a positive relationship with financial stability. A correlation study has also been undertaken to determine any relationship among these variables, followed by a dependency regression test to show the levels of dependency of financial stability on CSR expenses and the Granger Causality test to find their causal relationship. The study has revealed a significant relationship between the financial stability variables and CSR expenses, and the Granger Causality level supports the findings. 2021 Ecological Society of India. Crystallographic and computational investigation of a bent-core Schiff base Ni(ii) complex with DNA and protein binding studies
The rational design and synthesis of a three-ring bent-core Schiff base ligand, (E)-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl-3-((4-butoxy-2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino)-2-methylbenzoate (HL), and its mononuclear Ni(ii) complex, [Ni(L)2] (1), are described. The presence of a polar CF3 group and a flexible butoxy chain imparts amphiphilic character to HL and induces aggregation-induced emission (AIE) behavior. Coordination with NiCl2 yields a square-planar complex, as confirmed by spectroscopic methods, single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, and topological analysis. Fluorescence and SEM studies substantiate the aggregation propensity of HL. Density functional theory (DFT) and natural bond orbital (NBO) analyses reveal pronounced ligand-to-metal charge transfer in (1) and a moderate HOMOLUMO gap of 4.00 eV, indicative of kinetic stability and optoelectronic relevance. Complex (1) exhibits strong binding affinity toward duplex DNA and serum proteins (BSA and HSA), evidenced by red-shifted fluorescence enhancement at 475 nm and low detection limits (0.0750.188 M). Molecular docking further supports stable BSA binding (?8.52 kcal mol?1), highlighting the potential of this Ni(ii) system for biomolecular recognition. Crystal structures of 1,7-bis(furyl)-4-(1,3-dithiolan-2-ylidene)-1, 6-heptadiene-3,5-dione and 1,7-bis(thienyl)-4-(1,3-dithiolan- 2-ylidene)-1,6-heptadiene-3,5-dione
The title compounds (bis(alkenoyl) ketene dithioacetals) were prepared starting from the cyclic acyl ketene dithioacetal and aromatic aldehydes. These compounds were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, mass spectral studies and X-ray crystal structure analysis. The bis(furyl) ketene dithioacetal crystallized in the space group P1? with unit cell dimensions a = 7.7626(12) , b = 9.0217(13) , c = 26.827(5) , ? = 86.271(14), ? = 87.643(14), ? = 66.286(11) and the structure was refined to an R-factor of 0.0528 while bis(thienyl) ketene dithioacetal crystallized in the space group P21/c with unit cell dimensions a = 10.2433(9) , b = 10.4142(6) , c = 18.0973(18) , ? = 106.0 and the structure was refined to an R-factor of 0.0446. The ketenedithioacetal functionality present between the carbonyl groups prevents the possibility of keto-enol tautomerization in these compounds. Crystal structure of 4-{(E)-[2-(pyridin-4-ylcarbonyl)hydrazin-1-ylidene]methyl}-phenyl acetate monohydrate
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C15H13N3O3H2O, comprises a 4-{(E)-[2-(pyridin-4-ylcarbonyl)hydrazinyl-idene]methyl}phenyl acetate molecule and a solvent water molecule linked by O - H?O and O - H?N hydrogen bonds from the water molecule and a C - H?O contact from the organic molecule. The compound adopts an E conformation with respect to the azomethine bond and the dihedral angle between the pyridine and benzene rings is 21.90 (7). The azomethine bond [1.275 (2) distance is very close to the formal C=N bond length, which confirms the azomethine bond formation. An extensive set of O - H?O, O - H?N, N - H?O and C - H?O hydrogen bonds builds a two-dimensional network progressing along the c axis.
