- The objective of this research is to examine the effect of environmental education on green behavior mediated through environmental awareness, environmental attitude, and behavioral intentions, as mediating variables. The sample population comprised of the students of various universities of Delhi, National Capital Region (NCR), as this region of the country has the highest level of environmental pollution and therefore it is the most appropriate population for this study. One thousand questionnaires were shared among students of Delhi, NCR via Google Form out of which 689 responses were received and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results exhibited the association between environmental education and green behavior which was significantly mediated by awareness, attitude, and behavioral intention.
