The Indian payments market has robustly and consistently been moving towards digitization due to enhanced digital infrastructure, favourable government policies, and initiatives, availability of new technologies, disruptive innovations, and changes in the mindset of the customers. India tops in the worlds real-time digital payments with 20.5billion transactions in the year 2020 despite the adverse effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.
