- Description
- Cost-effective and environmentally benign approach was adopted for the synthesis of oxidized graphene nanostructures from the precursor coke via Improved Hummers' method. The surface states of oxygen functional groups provided strong polarization for enhanced dielectric properties. Occurrence of dipole and interfacial polarizations in the low frequency region contributed to the dispersive behaviour of ?', ?", and tand. The relaxation phenomenon of the structure lead to an augmented electrical conductivity with increase in frequency. Our finding reveals the advantageous fabrication of graphene nanostructure having high dielectric constant (1 0 5) but with low loss which can be used in advanced nanodielectrics. 2020 Elsevier Ltd.
