Exploring motivations, impact, and coping mechanisms of post-dating on female dating app users
Online dating apps are a popular platform for forming new connections. Generally, a virtual acquaintance intensifies between the users, eventually converting it into an offline relationship. Despite the anonymity of users being a prime motivation to initiate a conversation, it does pose challenges, including mental health issues and sexual abuse. There are increasing reports of privacy violations, extortions, cyberstalking, and sexual assaults connected with dating apps. While people in a relationship decide to set boundaries to avoid each other, both users go through an uncomfortable phase. Unless both parties mutually share the responsibility, the relationship issues are not sorted out without going through an abusive phase. One person's separation anxiety might become a physical manifestation, including virtual and physical assaults. The current study relies on focus group discussions to understand postdating app manifestations and its impact on female dating app users. The study involves respondents mostly exposed to online dating. 2023, IGI Global. All rights reserved. -

Co- Integration and Causality between Macroeconomics Variables and Bitcoin
The fintech sector has been booming for the past decade, especially with the unprecedented expansion in cryptocurrency innovation. Many countries and their central banks are working to accommodate cryptocurrency in a regulated format into their financial system anywise. This research paper investigates the long-run and short-run relationship between Bitcoin (INR) and the macroeconomic variables of the Indian economy, such as two major stock indices (NSE and BSE), money supply M1, foreign exchange rate (INR/US dollar), and indicators of inflation rate (CPI and WPI). For this purpose, monthly data of the variables from October 2014 to December 2020 are considered. The Johansen co-integration approach depicts the long-run association between Bitcoin and the economic variables, whilst VECM and the Wald coefficient reveal no short-run causality between the variables. The Granger Causality test shows a one-way causal relationship of NSE, BSE and WPI to Bitcoin. Hence, it concluded that stock indices and inflation have a cogent effect and exert on bitcoin prices. The findings will be helpful for policy-makers and investors alike, for an outlook to strategize and explore this everchanging digital instrument. 2024 CRC Press. -

Role of Triguna Personality Towards Emotional Expression in Relation to Emotional Regulation
With the changing times, people are more aware of their emotions regarding how to express and regulate them. The present generation is more active and expressive than the previous generation as they understand the significance of emotions in ones life. The body of literature claims that a person with better emotional understanding and expression is expected to have meaningful emotional regulation irrespective of the generation they represent. Traditional Indian Philosophy defines three essential characteristics, Sattva (purity, harmony), Rajas (activity, passion), and Tamas (resistance, darkness), that influence human behavior and experience. The degree to which one of the gunas predominates in an individual, to that extent, we characterize that person with that guna. The complicated interactions between Trigunas personality, emotional expression, and emotional regulation are examined. Considering the available facts, the present research focuses on exploring the association between emotional expression and emotion regulation strategies and the effect of the triguna personality in it, across two generations within the family. To accomplish this, a cross-sectional research design will be used to explore the generational difference, followed by a correlational research design to study the associations among variables for participants within each group. Participants would include the parents (mothers, 45 to 50 years) and their children (siblings, 18 to 24 years). The data was collected from 30 families. 2024 selection and editorial matter, Dr. Sundeep Katevarapu, Dr. Anand Pratap Singh, Dr. Priyanka Tiwari, Ms. Akriti Varshney, Ms. Priya Lanka, Ms. Aankur Pradhan, Dr. Neeraj Panwar, Dr. Kumud Sapru Wangnue; individual chapters, the contributors. -
