Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Tinnitus: An Applied Bioanalytical Perspective
Tinnitus affects 1015% of adults worldwide, with 23% experiencing severe and chronic symptoms that impair quality of life. Conventional treatments often provide limited long-term relief, while Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has emerged as an evidence-based intervention. The present study evaluated the effectiveness of CBT for tinnitus through an integrated psychometric and bioanalytical approach. A total of 100 participants were randomized into a CBT group (n = 50) and a waitlist control group (n = 50). The CBT program consisted of 12 weekly sessions delivered over 12 weeks. Psychometric assessments included the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI), Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and WHOQOL-BREF. Bioanalytical measures comprised functional MRI, EEG, salivary cortisol, heart rate variability (HRV), and inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, TNF-?). The CBT group achieved a 45% reduction in THI scores (58.4 9.2 to 32.1 8.5), while the control group showed only a 5% change. Anxiety and depression scores decreased by 42% and 40%, respectively, and sleep quality improved by 38%. Morning cortisol increased by 48%, HRV improved by 38%, and inflammatory cytokines decreased significantly (IL-6: ?26%; TNF-?: ?19%). Neuroimaging and EEG findings confirmed reduced auditory cortex hyperactivity and abnormal connectivity. These results demonstrate that CBT not only alleviates tinnitus distress but also induces measurable neurophysiological and systemic changes, reinforcing its role as a cornerstone of evidence-based tinnitus management. 2025, Green Publication. Midwifery, Witchcraft, And Forensic Blindness: A Gendered Bioanalytical Inquiry Into Historical Practices
In Europe, going on witch hunts was a prevalent activity between the fourteenth and seventeenth centuries. Tens of thousands of people were tortured, executed, and burned in Germany, Italy, and eventually expanded to France and England; women made up three-quarters of the victims. The discovery of "the persecution of midwives as witches," which expanded throughout the Middle Ages and has drawn harsh criticism from historians of the 20th century, is one of the most startling disclosures. This paper examines the intersection between midwifery and witchcraft in Early Modern times, focusing on the risks that female midwives had to deal with in the field of work. Women who practiced the crucial profession of midwifery had their experiences impacted by the historical backdrop of extensive witch hunts and prosecutions. The paper seeks to offer a thorough understanding of the difficulties faced by midwives in balancing their vital role in birthing with the widespread suspicions of witchcraft by looking at the socioeconomic, cultural, and legal aspects. The paper also relies on the recent published work of Dr. Philippa Carter (2023). 2025, Green Publication. All rights reserved. -
Framing Conflict And Development: Media Narratives, Security Planning, And Regional Recovery In Post-Article 370 Jammu And Kashmir
The repeal of Article 370 in 2019 has brought about a drastic change in the political, security, and media situation in Jammu and Kashmir, changing the way the events related to the conflict are framed and perceived. This paper will analyze the reporting of the 2025 Pahalgam terror attack and the following Operation Sindoor in two of the most popular regional dailies, Greater Kashmir and Daily Excelsior. The study is based on the qualitative comparative methodology that is supported by the framing theory to compare the tone, stress, and editorial strategy through the purposive analysis of the front-page coverage of April 23-May 8, 2025. The results are contrasting: Daily Excelsior adopts nationalist and security-centered frame that highlights military heroism and state intervention whereas Greater Kashmir adopts humanitarian frame that highlights civilian victimization, emotional appeal and community healing. Such competing frames not only affect the perception of the population, but also the discourses of security planning, tourism recovery, and regional development. The study suggests the significance of the media discourses as a dynamic element of the process of defining policy directions and planning outcomes in conflict-sensitive environments. 2025, Green Publication. The Role Of Leadership Behaviour On Team Success In Omani Healthcare: A Mediation Analysis In Diverse Clinical Settings
This study investigates the mediating role of leadership behavior in enhancing team processes and overall team success within the healthcare sector in Oman. Drawing upon the Leading Diversity (LeaD) model, the research conceptualizes the dynamics between leadership behavior, team process effectiveness, and team success in healthcare teams. A structured survey was administered to 25 team leaders representing hospitals and primary care centers across Oman, capturing perspectives on leadership competencies, team collaboration, and outcomes. Using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), the findings reveal that task-based leadership behavior partially mediates the relationship between effective team processes and team success. This indicates that while structured team processes are essential, their effectiveness is significantly enhanced when complemented by proactive, goal-oriented leadership. The study reinforces the critical role of leadership in navigating cultural and professional diversity among healthcare professionalsincluding physicians, nurses, technicians, and administrators. In Omans evolving healthcare landscape, characterized by modernization, resource pressures, and rising patient expectations, effective leadership is shown to improve patient care, reduce clinical errors, and enhance staff morale and communication. While the study accounts for potential social desirability and common method bias, measures were taken to minimize these effects. The application of the LeaD model in a healthcare context marks a novel contribution to leadership and healthcare management literature, emphasizing that inclusive, adaptive leadership is not only beneficial but necessary for delivering high-quality healthcare in multicultural environments. 2025, Green Publication. Geographies of Gender and Leadership: Regional Inequalities and Women in Omans Oil & Gas Sector
Introduction / Main Objective: This research explores Omani women's spatial and cultural barriers to leadership in the Oil & Gas industry. It looks at geographic location and regional differences and how these affect women's access to and experience of leadership. Background of the Problem: While significant advancements have been made in women's participation in the labor force in Oman, spatial disparities still exist whereby women in urban areas have more chances of leadership compared to women in rural or rural-remote towns. Cultural expectations and infrastructural constraints add to these geographical disparities. Novelty: This study innovatively combines a geographic perspective in gender and leadership research in Oman's Oil & Gas sector with an emphasis on regional disparities influencing women's career development. Research Methods: A qualitative method involving questionnaires was conducted among thirty women managers within various regions of Oman. Responses were processed to determine spatially connected obstacles and coping mechanisms. Findings: Women in urban areas like Muscat enjoy better access to education, professional networks, and organizational support, while women in rural areas are confronted by cultural conservatism, poor infrastructure, and lower promotion opportunities. There was an urban-rural leadership training and family support divide. Conclusion: Geography profoundly influences women's leadership paths in Oman's Oil & Gas industry. For policies to enhance gender equity, leadership development policy needs to take regional disparities into consideration and adapt interventions to local contexts. 2025, Green Publication. Economic resilience in the face of pandemic: a holistic mathematical analysis of the pandemic in India
COVID-19 was initiated in 2020 and caused an immediate threat to global countries in terms of both economic and health influences. In this present work, we extend the Susceptible-Infected-Recovered (SIR) model by considering two new variables, gross domestic product or GDP (G) and unemployment (U), to study the impact of this epidemic on the Indian economy during the 20202023 period. Since our extended SIR model includes two novel compartments, which are GDP and unemployment rate, we can now explore in more detail the sophisticated relationship between health and economic matters. The framework allows us to investigate the following consequences: how changes in the infection rate affect the economy and how changes in GDP and unemployment translate into the spread of this contagion. These visualizations are based on real-time quarterly data and provide full knowledge of the interaction between health and economic dynamics during the COVID-19 crisis in India. Government initiatives and regulations are also reviewed for their efficiency to contain the virus while taming the economic cost. Real-world results are contrasted with the care to find the strengths and weaknesses of the policies that come out with the underlying assumptions in the model. This paper, in other words, deploys an in-depth analysis of the convoluted links between economics, policy, and public health in the face of a pandemic with a geographic focus in India. 2025 by the authors. -
Characterization, molecular docking, and therapeutic properties of biomaterial obtained from Pangasianodon hypopthalmus
The therapeutic properties of fish have been recognized since ancient times because of the presence of various fatty acids. Oleic acid, which is a mono-unsaturated fatty acid, is known for curing heart-related diseases and promoting brain health. Our study is a first attempt to evaluate the Anti-inflammatory activity, Anti-oxidant activity and perform characterization studies on mucus obtained from Pangasianodon hypopthalmus and explore its therapeutic properties. Anti-inflammatory property evaluation was performed via, albumin denaturation assay showing an 81% inhibition rate and RBC hemolysis assay with a 76.79% inhibition rate, anti-oxidant activity evaluation performed using the DPPH assay showed an 80% radical scavenging activity at 150?g/mL concentration. Overall results showed that anti-inflammatory was highest at 100mg/mL concentration and anti-oxidant activity was highest at 150?g/mL concentration. Characterization studies involved FTIR, NMR and GCMS analysis. Simulation study was performed on selected compound (ligand) against selected targets. From GC-MS analysis, C18 H34 O2 (Oleic acid), was found to be present at higher concentration. Docking studies revealed good binding energy and strong hydrogen bonding between oleic acid and TNF-?, with a binding energy of ?5.3 kcal/mol, thereby demonstrating strong anti-inflammatory activity and wound-healing potency. Further in-vitro and in-vivo analysis has to be performed to develop potential drug for therapeutic purpose. 2026 Visagaa Publishing House. -
A NOVEL DATA SECURE MODEL FOR INTERNET OF HEALTH THINGS WITH A NEW LIGHTWEIGHT CRYPTOGRAPHY ALGORITHM AND STEGANOGRAPHY TECHNIQUE
Ensuring the security of data in Internet of Things (IoT) based healthcare systems (HS) presents considerable challenges due to the limitations of traditional embedding methods and cryptography techniques, leading to more memory consumption, more execution time, less security, inadequate payload capacity, and performance inefficiencies. To address these issues, the Bernoulli Fish-based Stego Algorithm (BFBSA) is introduced as an innovative solution. Specifically designed for IoT healthcare data, this algorithm is validated through the encryption and embedding of healthcare data. The process involves initializing IoT healthcare data, encrypting it using the BFBSA algorithm, and embedding the encrypted data within steganographic images. Performance analysis is conducted using key metrics such as payload capacity, encryption time, memory usage, PSNR, and MSE. Comparative analysis with existing approaches highlights the BFBSA models efficiency and its effectiveness in ensuring secure and optimized data management in IoT healthcare environments. ON NEAR Fk-PERFECT AND DEFICIENT Fk-PERFECT NUMBERS
For a positive integer n, the arithmetic function ?2(n) denotes the sum of squares of all the divisors of n. A positive integer n is called an F-perfect number if ?2(n) ? n2 = 3n. A positive integer n is termed a near F-perfect number if ?2(n) ? n2 ? d2 = 3n, where d is a proper divisor of n. Similarly, n is considered a deficient F-perfect number if ?2(n) ? n2 + d2 = 3n, where d is a proper divisor of n. In this paper, we discuss several characterizations of these numbers, establish their relations with other significant numbers, and generalize the near-perfect and deficient-perfect numbers. 2025, Colgate University. CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: BRIDGING MANAGEMENT PRACTICES AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The paper discusses Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a mediating strategy between corporate management and community development in the diverse situations. Indeed, acknowledging the fact that CSR is no longer a pure concept of voluntary charity, but rather a significant part of business logic, the study was conducted with a qualitative and posthumanistic approach through the prism of situated inquiry. Semi-structured interviews with document and artefact analysis, and some field observation was conducted in India, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia with 27 participants who were corporate managers and NGO and community stakeholders. Findings show that on one hand CSR is integrated as a strategy with organizational objectives, but on the other hand the perceptions differ so much. Interactions historically and the level of participatory planning tended to focus relationships. Digital dashboards were a form of technology that mediated transparency but posed the threat of dehumanizing engagement. There were continuation tensions between performance-based strategies and community-based ethics. The research comes to the conclusion that effective CSR presupposes a combination of strategic intent and trust-building and shared responsibility. It is suggested that collaborative project design, long-term partnership, and proper technological support are to be used as, rather than a substitute to direct community interaction. This issue is to be investigated in the future with respect to how non-human forces and time processes can determine the impressions and results of CSR. On the whole, the study highlights that the transformative aspect of CSR is adaptive, relational, and circumstentially-sensitive practices. 2025. JUSTICE BEYOND COURTS: EXPLORING FEMINIST AND DIGITAL APPROACHES TO RESTORATIVE PRACTICE IN INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE
Intimate partner violence (IPV) has been a worldwide problem that has been quite hard to handle with traditional justice systems that lack the capacity to address the intricate needs of victims. The present paper aims to discuss how using restorative justice (RJ) based on feminist theory and driven by digital innovations, a different route to justice other than the traditional courts can be pursued. The research involves integrative qualitative method of synthesizing the results of peer-reviewed literature, policy reports on the assessment of such programs as Project Restore (New Zealand), NYC Blueprint (USA), and Open Circle (Australia), and online interventions, such as AR storytelling and digital mediation sites. This review shows that feminist models of RJ are based on the safety and empowerment of the survivor providing results that criminal courts can hardly provide. Nonetheless, these models do not have an easy time scaling because of resource limitations. Digital technologies, nevertheless, make RJ more accessible and anonymous, but at the same time they have ethical risks, including questions of privacy and algorithmic bias. The paper argues that such problems may be solved through the combination of feminist ethics and responsible digital design to create survivor-led and technology-enabling RJ systems. The results can be used in theory and policy formulation through the suggested model that will combine feminist and digital methods to make justice innovative, but ethically sound. This is an interdisciplinary approach that holds transformative prospects in the context of dealing with IPV worldwide. 2025. -

Effect of Microbial Consortium on Biodegradation Process of Organic Waste Materials
Solid waste generation has significantly increased in tandem with population growth, presenting substantial challenges to human health and environmental sustainability. In developing nations such as India, traditional management practices, including incineration and open dumping, continue to prevail despite their detrimental environmental effects. There is a paucity of research focusing on microbial consortia specifically engineered for the accelerated biodegradation of heterogeneous organic waste under local conditions. This study addressed the microbial consortium isolated from waste-associated environments enhancing the rate of organic waste degradation and effect of consortium for improving compost nutrient quality compared to natural decomposition. Microbial strains were isolated from a soil sample obtained from a vegetable and fruit waste disposal site in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Among the 50 isolates, five exhibiting strong hydrolytic activity were selected and identified through 16S rRNA sequencing as Cronobacter sakazakii LMSC, Stutzerimonas xanthomarina LMSA, Cronobacter sakazakii LMSPR, Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes LMSPE, and Staphylococcus sp. LMSL. A consortium was prepared by inoculating equal proportions of each culture, incubating for 48 hours, and applied it to waste degradation. During composting, temperature (2832 C), pH (neutral to alkaline), and moisture (68.44% in treated vs. 18% in control) were monitored. Nutrient analysis revealed higher values in the treated compost compared to the controls, contributing to enhanced soil quality and plant growth. The novelty of this study resides in the formulation of a native microbial consortium from waste-associated bacteria, which demonstrated superior biodegradation efficiency and compost quality compared to natural decomposition. 2026 Widener University School of Civil Engineering. Attitude of Parents Towards Various Behavior Management Techniques Utilized in Pediatric Dental Treatments
Dental experts are trusted to apply the knowledge and abilities they have acquired during their dental education to the diagnosis and effective treatment of any dental illness. When it comes to pediatric patients, however, the dentist's responsibility is different. However, without the right behavior management method (BMT), therapy outcomes would not be effective. Sometimes young children behave disruptively during dental visits, which makes it easier or harder for the dentist to perform dental work. Nonetheless, before being applied to children, behavior management strategies need the parents' acceptance and consent. This review's objective is to evaluate the dentists' use of effective behavior modification techniques (BMT) as well as the parents' attitudes regarding these techniques. RJPT All right reserved. -
