Exploring the Effect of Work-Family Conflict on Burnout Among ICU Nurses in Indian Private Hospitals: The Influence of Perceived Organization Support
Nursing is demanding and often clashes with family responsibilities causing significant Work-Family Conflict (WFC). Nurses have long shifts, emotionally demanding workloads, and deep patient involvement which strains their work-life balance. This conflict blurs the lines between work and home and depletes emotional resources leading to burnout symptoms: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced accomplishment. Burnout happens when nurses try to juggle work demands with personal responsibilities, hence organizational support is needed. ICU and emergency environments are known to be high-stress and deeply impact nurses personal lives through WFC. This affects nurse health and family well-being, especially in the ICU setting. Perceived Organizational Support (POS) which is how valued and supported nurses feel by their employers plays a big role in mitigating these challenges. This study will look into how WFC contributes to burnout among ICU nurses and the buffering effect of POS. The study had 449 ICU nurses from private hospitals in India through simple random sampling. Surveys showed that WFC did not affect ICU nurses accomplishment but affected emotional exhaustion and depersonalization. POS was found to moderate these effects hence it plays a role in buffering burnout risk among ICU nurses. The results emphasized the need for strong organizational support in nursing administration to mitigate WFC and burnout. Exploring the effect of Covid-19 on herding in Asian financial markets
We examine herding behavior before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic in eight prominent Asian stock markets. Daily stock returns for the period Jan- 2018 to July- 2022 in the markets were investigated using the models prescribed by Chang et al., (2000) and Chiang and Zheng (2010). The empirical results provide strong support to earlier studies by providing robust evidence of herding in Vietnam, Indonesia, India, South Korea, and Singapore when the market is bullish and Indonesia and Vietnam also exhibit herding when the market is bearish. Herding tendency is dominant for Vietnam, India, and Indonesia during the pandemic with the post-pandemic time being more potent for China and Vietnam. Notably, an anti-herding tendency is found in China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. As a policy measure, efficient information dissemination, deterrence of insider trading, and regulation of mispricing can be undertaken. 2022 -

Exploring the Digital Revolution in Education in India during the COVID-19 Pandemic
One important response to COVID-19 was the intensification of the use of digital media to deliver education. However, the results are paradoxical, since the digital revolution did not lead to improvement of the social quality of teachers working circumstances. We ana-lyze internal or subjective oriented constitutional and external or objective orientated conditional factors related to teachers that determine the adaptation of digitalization, taking a social quality perspective. Through a case study in the most advanced educational hub of IndiaDelhiwe find that the digital revolution helped India to address the first-order problems in digital transformation, namely concerning objective infrastructural facilities. The second-order problems, particularly changing the subjective belief structures of teachers related to the integration of technologies, appear to remain a challenge. As India has recently adopted a new education policy (2020), the findings of our study have significant relevance to improving the accessibility and utilization of digital technology in educational spaces. Exploring the Digital Economy: Regulatory Challenges and Implications for Customer Dynamics
In the setting up of new digital platforms such as FinTech and e- commerce in the world, the most important task that has brought businesses to open up their markets to customers is interaction between the function before and after sale. This chapter thus reflects on the factors that have created regulatory hurdles for the digital economy, along with the effects it has had on the business- consumer relationship. It tries to analyze how the rapid adoption of digital technologies will change the old patterns of market architecture by adding to the already apparent gap between regulation and industries under new design. It also tries to look at how these regulatory issues would be about consumer trust and loyalty, about consumer behavior, and how businesses can adopt a more pragmatic approach to such problems without compromising ethical principles and developing strong consumer relationships. This chapter will show provisions of regulations that would enable innovation to ensure consumer safety, thus giving an appropriate digital marketplace in which a balance is created. 2026 by IGI Global Scientific Publishing.
